Creo que no recibo tanta publicidad en mi buzón como Jose de UnGatoNipón, pero recibo a diario en mi buzón papeles que no van dirigidos a mí y me supone una molestia amontonarlos y llevarlos a reciclar. Son otro caso de spam en la vida real. Además estas empresas están gastando dinero y esfuerzo en molestar a la gente y dañar el medio ambiente. ¿Qué carajo están pensando? Si tienes una empresa, por favor asegúrate de pedir permiso antes de meter algo en mi buzón. Pero a mí no hace falta que me preguntes. No.

僕のポストには毎日チラシが入っている。まとめたりリサイクルに出したりして迷惑してる。実際スパム（迷惑メール）の例だ。それに、そういう会社はお金と人の努力を僕の迷惑と環境の破壊に使ってる。何を考えてるんだ？あなたが会社を運営しているんであれば、チラシを人のポストに入れる前に許可を得るようにして下さい。僕は許可しないから聞いてこなくてもいいけど。

I get a lot of ad leaflets in my post box, and recycling them is a pain. It’s a clear case of IRL spam. Moreover, these companies are spending money and effort just to annoy people and to destroy the environment. What are they thinking? If you have a company, please ask for people’s permission before stuffing leaflets in their post boxes. Oh, and don’t bother asking me.

Es curioso que en Japón esté mal visto que yo pegue un cartel anunciando mi concierto en la pared del edificio de una empresa, mientras que esa misma empresa puede meter papeles impunemente en todos los buzones (con un rendimiento de visionados por papel peor que el que tendría mi cartel). ¿Es esto doble moral? ¿Debería publicar una lista de las empresas que me invaden de esta manera?

ある会社の建物に僕がライブPRの貼り紙を貼ってはいけないのに、同じ会社が僕のポストに、無断にチラシを入れてる（貼り紙の場合はチラシよりいい効率だろうに）。二重道徳ってこれのこと？僕に迷惑をかけてる会社の一覧を公開した方がいい？

It’s not fun that I can’t stick a poster for my gig on a wall at a company’s building, but the same company can will stuff my post box with leaflets. Hey, the poster would have a better performance in terms of pageviews per gram of paper! Anyway is this double moral? Should I post a list of companies that are invading my post box in this manner?

En la edición vespertina del día 18 del periódico japonés Asahi Shinbun apareció un artículo de opinión sobre las ejecuciones de esta semana que se refirió al Ministro de Justicia Kunio Hatoyama como “la Muerte personificada” (shinigami en el original, palabra que sonará a algunos lectores). In Asahi Shinbun’s evening paper for the 18th, an opinion column about this week’s executions called Minister of Justice Kunio Hatoyama “Death personified” (shinigami in the original, a word some readers might be familiar with). A quote from the column:

“He is beating his own record of executions every 2 months. In other words, Death personified.”

El Ministro declaró al respecto lo siguiente:

“[Los reos] fueron ejecutados según ordena la ley para los crímenes que cometieron. Creo que no se los llevó el de la guadaña. Y opino que [el artículo] es un insulto a los ejecutados.”

The Minister’s complaints:

“[The condemned criminals] were executed as the law specifies for their crimes. I believe they were not taken by a Reaper. And I think [the column] is an insult to the people who were executed.”

“¿Do you realize the bad influence that calling me “Death” can have? I think it is that attitude of publishing thoughtless texts what is making this a worse world.”
