El próximo domingo 20 de abril participamos en un evento de Tiempo Iberoamericano llamado Palabras de amor con la versión pepino de una canción española que no habíamos cantado nunca.

“Palabras de amor es el título que le hemos puesto a la celebración que los estudiantes de arte e idioma van a tener el próximo día 20 de abril en Sancho Panza. Desde diferentes puntos de vista los estudiantes de lengua van a escenificar algunas situaciones de amor, que son las que, cotidianamente, vemos a nuestro alrededor o sentimos nosotros mismos. A su vez los estudiantes de arte van a vestir el escenario de cada situación y a plasmar con sus obras los diferentes mensajes que los sentimientos de amor que se muestran provocan en ellos. Palabras de amor es un entramado de situaciones amorosas en 14 historias unidas, cada una de ellas, por uno de los personajes de la historia precedente, de modo que los personajes de la primera y de la última situación son los mismos. Estas historias son sólo situaciones sin principio ni final, una ventana abierta a un mundo de posibilidades en que el amor es el personaje más importante.”

“The event titled as “Palabras de amor (Words of Love)” is our language and art students’ presentation held on April 20 in Sancho Panza. From their differents point of view, the students will take part of some scenes of Love which is by chance usual scene we see them every day around us or maybe even as our own scene. At the same time the students of art will transmit messages decorating each scene with their art works inspirated by sene itsself.
“Palabras de amor” is formed by 14 situations of Love connected one to the other, in which one of role in a scene remains for the next scene, this way first scene and the last scene are played with same roles. Those stories have no beginnings nor ends. It is as if a open window to the world of possibility where, the most important role is the Love.”

We are launching today Escucha japonés, a new site for Spanish speakers to learn spoken Japanese through a podcast with entertaining conversations in it.

先週、名古屋地方の中日新聞と東京新聞夕刊に載ると報告したでしょう？新聞社の親切な方が1部を送ってくれた！

Do you remember last week I told you I’d be on Nagoya’s newspaper Chunichi Shimbun and on its brother Tokyo Shimbun? The very nice people making the newspaper sent me one copy!

Aquí tenéis el artículo, en pequeñito para que no se pueda leer y no me suelten los perros. Salió el mismo en los dos periódicos.

Here’s the column, small enough so you can’t read it. This is so that they don’t sue me. The same column was printed on both papers.

El artículo, que por supuesto sale en la sección de cultura, habla del humor japonés cruzando fronteras, y además de mis vídeos imitando a Kojima Yoshio habla de una canción jamaicana de un señor llamado Patexx que tiene como estribillo “sonnanokankeine”, y de otro caso de “japoneses en calzoncillos” que cruzó las fronteras de Japón: Yatta de Happatai, la canción del programa de humor “Warau Inu no Bouken”.

記事のテーマは海外でもウケる日本の笑いで、もちろんCULTURE(文化)というページに入っていた。小島よしおをまねする外国人ということで僕のこと、それ以外はジャマイカでレゲーに「sonnanokankeine」というせりふを入れているPatexxと、またパンツ一丁で世界中を笑わせた日本発のお笑い：「笑う犬の冒険」のはっぱ隊のYATTA.

The column is about Japanese humor crossing national borders, and obviously it’s on the “Culture” section. Apart from my videos doing the Kojima Yoshio, there was stuff about Patexx, a jamaican DJ who included “sonnanokankeine” in the lyrics for one of his reggae songs, and yet another Japanese humor number that got spoken about all over the world by wearing only pants: Happatai’s Yatta, a song from TV program “Warau Inu no Bouken”.

土曜日はティエンポのエル・タジェールで集まってスペイン語の歌を歌わないか？歌を選んで意味を少し理解しながらみんなで歌うスペイン語エリアのワークショップだ。歌うときの音源にはゲームボーイを使う。新鮮で懐かしい電子音カラオケ！

It’s a workshop within Tiempo’s Spanish language area where we’ll choose and sing songs in Spanish as we learn a little of the lyrics’ meaning. When we sing, the sound will come from a Game Boy — a karaoke with the most oldschool and freshest sound!

名古屋地方と東京都にいる中日新聞か東京新聞夕刊をとっている人は、明日の10日（木）ちゃんと読んで下さい！僕が載るから。ブログを見てくれている人なら既に知っている内容になる思うけど、もし読んだら感想を聞かせてね。この間日本の新聞に載せられたときから良くなったところ：連絡を取ってもらったこと。

If you are in Nagoya or Tokyo and you read Chunichi Shimbun (中日新聞) or the evening edition of Tokyo Shimbun (東京新聞夕刊), don’t miss it tomorrow 10th! I’ll be on it. If you’re reading this blog, I don’t think you’ll find out anything new, but you could have a look and tell the rest of us about it. What has gotten better since the last time I was on a Japanese newspaper is: this time they have contacted me.

Es una fiesta en la que se pueden ver y escuchar muchas actuaciones distintas. Se celebra en el Sancho Panza (Dayton Bldg, 3F, 2-4-5 Chuoku, Tenjin, Fukuoka) a partir de las 7 de la tarde, y la entrada solo cuesta 500 yenes. ¡No faltes!

いろんなパーフォーマンスが見れる・聞けるパーティだ。サンチョ・パンサ（福岡県福岡市中央区天神２丁目４−５ デイトンビル3F）で夜7時から開始。入場は500円だけだし、来ないと損よ！
