En Dazaifu vi por primera vez una palillería, una tienda en la que solo venden palillos hechos a mano.
太宰府で初めて「お箸屋さん」を見た。もちろん、全部手作り。
In Dazaifu, I saw a chopstick shop for the first time in my life. Everything is handcraft.
Como veis, tenían mucha variedad. Las figuritas de abajo son para que la punta de los palillos no toque la mesa cuando los tienes que soltar un momento. (Cuando hay reposapalillos en la mesa no está bien dejar los palillos en el plato.)
ご覧の通り、いろんなお箸が置いてあった。かわいい箸置きも。
As you can see, there were lots of different chopsticks. The small figures on the right are for the tip of the chopsticks not to touch the table when you’re not using them. (If there are such figures on the table during a meal, make sure you don’t leave your chopsticks on a bowl.)
En esta foto podéis ver palillos desmontables. Están cortados por la mitad y se acoplan a rosca, de manera que podemos llevarlos encima todo el día y comer con ellos nuestro obento o usarlos en los restaurantes para que no se tiren a la basura tantos palillos desechables.
組み立て「マイ箸」は今人気だそうだ。毎日割り箸を捨てるのは嫌だし、組み立てって持ち歩きやすい。
And here you can see portable chopsticks. They are split in half so you can carry them around and you don’t have to throw away disposable chopsticks every day.
Detalle de la cabeza de unos palillos muy bonitos. La grulla está en relieve y destacada por el lacado. Todo hecho a mano.
お箸の頭の大写し。立体で出来ている鶴は漆で仕上げていてきれいに目立つ。もちろん手作り。
Close-up of some chopsticks. The crane is carved and it stands up thanks to the lacquer. Of course this is hand crafted.
También había teteras y vasitos para el té. Para los que se sorprendan al ver el segundo “agujero” de las teteras, en realidad no es un agujero sino un mango.
かわいい急須とコップも置いてあった。
There were small teapots and cups too. For those of you wondering, that’s not a second hole on the teapots. It’s there just for you to hold the hot teapot.
