Retratado en Chunichi Shimbun y Tokyo Shimbun — 中日新聞と東京新聞で掲載

La semana pasada os avisé de que iba a salir en el Chunichi Shimbun, un periódico de Nagoya, y en su hermano de Tokio el Tokyo Shimbun. ¡Pues ya me han llegado los periódicos que muy amablemente me mandaron desde la editorial!

先週、名古屋地方の中日新聞と東京新聞夕刊に載ると報告したでしょう？新聞社の親切な方が1部を送ってくれた！

Do you remember last week I told you I’d be on Nagoya’s newspaper Chunichi Shimbun and on its brother Tokyo Shimbun? The very nice people making the newspaper sent me one copy!

Aquí tenéis el artículo, en pequeñito para que no se pueda leer y no me suelten los perros. Salió el mismo en los dos periódicos.

この下は記事。文句言われないように読めないぐらいに小さくした。東京新聞にも同じ物が出たらしい。

Here’s the column, small enough so you can’t read it. This is so that they don’t sue me. The same column was printed on both papers.

El artículo, que por supuesto sale en la sección de cultura, habla del humor japonés cruzando fronteras, y además de mis vídeos imitando a Kojima Yoshio habla de una canción jamaicana de un señor llamado Patexx que tiene como estribillo “sonnanokankeine”, y de otro caso de “japoneses en calzoncillos” que cruzó las fronteras de Japón: Yatta de Happatai, la canción del programa de humor “Warau Inu no Bouken”.

記事のテーマは海外でもウケる日本の笑いで、もちろんCULTURE(文化)というページに入っていた。小島よしおをまねする外国人ということで僕のこと、それ以外はジャマイカでレゲーに「sonnanokankeine」というせりふを入れているPatexxと、またパンツ一丁で世界中を笑わせた日本発のお笑い：「笑う犬の冒険」のはっぱ隊のYATTA.

The column is about Japanese humor crossing national borders, and obviously it’s on the “Culture” section. Apart from my videos doing the Kojima Yoshio, there was stuff about Patexx, a jamaican DJ who included “sonnanokankeine” in the lyrics for one of his reggae songs, and yet another Japanese humor number that got spoken about all over the world by wearing only pants: Happatai’s Yatta, a song from TV program “Warau Inu no Bouken”.

Más periódicos — また新聞に

Si estás en Nagoya o en Tokio y eres lector del periódico Chunichi Shimbun (中日新聞) o de la edición vespertina del Tokyo Shimbun (東京新聞夕刊) no te escaquees mañana jueves 10 porque salgo yo. Si estás leyendo este blog, probablemente no habrá nada nuevo para ti, pero ya que estás podrías mirarlo y nos lo cuentas a los que estamos lejos. Lo que ha mejorado desde la última vez que salí en un periódico japonés: que por lo menos se han puesto en contacto conmigo.

名古屋地方と東京都にいる中日新聞か東京新聞夕刊をとっている人は、明日の10日（木）ちゃんと読んで下さい！僕が載るから。ブログを見てくれている人なら既に知っている内容になる思うけど、もし読んだら感想を聞かせてね。この間日本の新聞に載せられたときから良くなったところ：連絡を取ってもらったこと。

Haciendo yoga en el Tokyo Game Show — 東京ゲームショーでヨガ

En Tokyo Game Show pude, contra todo pronóstico, hacer ejercicio. Konami estaba presentando el Let’s Yoga, un programa de Nintendo DS que enseña a hacer yoga, y me puse a hacer el tonto delante de la chica que hacía yoga. Al final acabaron llamándome para que hiciera lo mismo a su lado.

東京ゲームショーでは、予想もしていなかったけど運動してしまった。コナミがどこでもヨガというニンテンドーDS用のヨガソフトの紹介をしていたときに、僕がステージの前で変わった行為を始めたら、同じことを一緒にしようと言われました。

I didn’t expect it, but I ended up doing exercise at the Tokyo Game Show. Konami was promoting its yoga support software for Nintendo DS Let’s Yoga, そ I started acting weird before the stage until they called me to do exactly the same along with the demo girl.

Calimocho en el Tokyo Game Show — 東京ゲームショーで飲もう

El Tokyo Game Show no es un sitio muy divertido si no te gusta hacer cola, así que Héctor y yo pensamos en hacer algo cachondo dentro. Al final hicimos calimocho (vino malo con Coca-Cola) y fuimos ofreciendo a la gente con resultados variados.

東京ゲームショーは並ぶのが好きじゃない人にはそんなに面白くないので、エクトルと僕は何か違うことをしようと思った。結局やったのは安いワインとコーラを持ち込んで、カリモチョというスペインで有名なカクテルを作って人に飲ませること。

Tokyo Game Show isn’t such an interesting place if you don’t like waiting in queue, so Hector and I thought about doing something off-beat. We ended up bringing cheap wine and Coke to make calimocho, a very popular cocktail in Spain, and offered it to some people with mixed results.

Me gustó mucho el señor disfrazado de pantalla de Nobunaga no Yabou (La ambición de Nobunaga), que es un videojuego de estrategia de temática histórica para la Famicom (Nintendo 8 bits). Aquí podéis ver la pantalla original.

信長の野望のコスプレをしていた男性がいて驚いた！ファミコン版の画面にそっくりだった。

I was very surprised there was a guy dressed up as a screen from Nobunaga no Yabou (Nobunaga’s Ambition), which is a history-themed strategy videogame for the Famicom (Japanese NES). Here’s a screenshot from the original game.

“Matador” en Tokyo Game Show 2007

Si vimos un juego interesante en el Tokyo Game Show de hace un mes, fue este tal Matador que os presentamos aquí. No tiene mucho que ver con los toros (lo que es de agradecer), pero se aprovecha de la estética hasta límites perversos.

1ヶ月前東京ゲームショーで見てきた面白いゲームと言えば、この「マタドール」でしょう。闘牛とはあまり関係ないのはいい所だと思うし、グラフィックが闘牛っぽいというのは面白い。

If we saw an interesting game at Tokyou Game Show a month ago, it must be Matador. It’s awesome that it has nothing to do with bullfighting, and it’s also amazing that the graphics use that much bullfighting paraphernalia.

Este modo de juego se llama “Gyuushien”, que es una coña al “Koushien”, la liga nacional de béisbol de institutos de bachillerato. El Koushien se hace dos veces al año, y es la segunda liga de béisbol más importante de Japón.

このゲームモードは「牛子園」といって明らかに「甲子園」とのだじゃれだ。

This game mode is called “Gyuushien”, what is a put with “Koushien”, the national hi-school baseball league. Koushien is held twice a year, and it’s the second most important baseball league in Japan.

El mes pasado estuve en el Tokyo Game Show con Héctor de kirainet.com y grabamos (grabó) mucho vídeo. Que te gusten o no los videojuegos no tiene mucho que ver con que te parezca divertido, así que no tengas reparo en mirar este avance.

先月はkirainet.comのエクトルと一緒に東京ゲームショーに行って、映像をいっぱい撮った（彼が）。ゲームに興味がなくても面白いかも知れないので、この下のプレビュームービーを見てみて下さい。

Last month I was at Tokyo Game Show with Héctor from kirainet.com and we (he) took a lot of video footage. Even if you aren’t interested in video games, you may find it fun, so check this teaser.

Viaje a Tokio — 東京に行って来た

Este fin de semana he estado en Tokio, y lo primero que quiero compartir con vosotros son estas fotos. Este es un avión de la JAL bastante viejo. Las pocas pantallas que había no eran LCD.

先週末は東京に行ってきたけど、まず公開したいのはこの写真。この下はJALの飛行機の機内。スクリーンが少なくて、LCDじゃなかったので、かなり古い飛行機だろう。

I went to Tokyo last weekend, and the first thing I’m publishing is these pictures. Here’s one of JAL’s planes. The few screens weren’t LCD, so it must be a quite old plane.
