Ehōmaki Setsubun 2011 節分恵方巻

Ayer fue el día del Setsubun, y como todos los años nos comimos el sushi gordo llamado ehōmaki.

昨日は節分で、毎年のように恵方巻を食べた。

Yesterday was Setsubun, and like every year we had this thick sushi roll called ehōmaki.

No era tan legendario como los que nos regalaron el año pasado, pero nos lo comimos a gusto.

去年もらった恵方巻ほどは凄くなかったけど美味しくいただきました。

It wasn’t as epic as the ones we got last year, but we did enjoy them.

La dirección para mirar mientras te lo comías este año era sur-sudeste. Y por supuesto más tarde en casa hicimos el mame-maki.

今年恵方巻を食べるときに見る方向は南南東だった。家に帰ったらちゃんと豆まきをした。

The direction to look at while you’re eating the ehōmaki this year was south-southeast. And when we got home we did some soy bean throwing as well.

Yesterday was Setsubun, and the same way we told you about mamemaki last year at Escucha japonés, today we feature the ehōmaki.

一気に丸かぶり。

You can’t stop eating while you are having it.

Cada año hay que comerlo mirando en una dirección determinada. Este año era: oeste-suroeste.

指定された方向を向いて食べます。今年は：西南西。

There’s a direction you have to look at when having the ehōmaki, and it changes every year. This year it was West-southwest.

¡Y después el mamemaki también lo hicimos! Adivinad quien fue el oni este año.

その後、豆撒きもした！今年の鬼は誰でしょう？

And we did the mamemaki afterwards! Guess who was the oni this year.

¿Y el otafuku?

おたふくは？

And the otafuku?

Y al final nos comimos cada uno tantas pipas de soja como años tenemos.

最後に豆を年の数だけ食べた。

And at last, we had as many soy beans as years old we are.

Hoy es el día de Setsubun y, como todos los años, hemos hecho el lanzamiento de pipas de soja y nos hemos comido el ehoumaki, o futomaki, o como lo queráis llamar (tiene nombres mil).
