Hace año y pico me compré el Dragon Quest IX: Centinelas del Firmamento, y ya que hace poco salió en español os voy a contar cómo disfruto con él después de habérmelo pasado.

It’s been more than a year since I got my Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies, and now that the game is out in English I wanted to share what I’ve been doing since I beat it.
La historia del juego es un poco corta para un Dragon Quest moderno, pero me parece mejor así. Y una vez te pasas el juego puedes dedicarte a unas mazmorras generadas llamadas “mapas del tesoro”. Es muy pesado encontrar dónde están, pero es donde están los monstruos más fuertes y los mejores tesoros.
ゲームの本編が現代ドラクエとしてちょっと短く感じるけど、その方がいいと思う。クリアしたら「宝の地図」という生成されるダンジョンでずっと遊べる。場所を探すのは面倒だけど、一番強いモンスターや一番美味しい宝はそこにある。
The game’s story is a bit short for a modern Dragon Quest, but I like it better this way. Once you beat the game, you can have a lot of fun in the dungeons called “treasure maps”. It’s quite annoying finding the place, but it’s where the strongest monsters and the best treasure is.
Además, estos mapas se pueden intercambiar con otros jugadores. Alguien me envió este en el que salen muchos Hagure Metal (Metal Babble).
それに、こういう地図は他のプレイヤーと交換できる。僕は誰かにはぐれメタルがいっぱい出る地図をもらった。
Also, you can trade these maps with other players. Somebody sent me one where you can fight lots of Hagure Metal (Metal Babbles).
Son difíciles de matar, pero inofensivos y dan muchísima experiencia.
倒しにくいけど、無害だし、もらえる経験値は半端じゃない。
They’re hard to kill, but they aren’t dangerous and they give you lots of experience.

Los personajes de Dragon Quest parecen salidos de Dragon Ball cuando concentran su energía. ¿Será porque son del mismo dibujante, Akira Toriyama?
テンションをあげるときのドラゴンクエストのキャラクターが、ドラゴンボールのキャラクターに見える。鳥山明氏のデザインだし、無理もないかな。
Dragon Quest characters look like they’re from Dragon Ball when they are concentrating their energy. This is probably because they all come from Akira Toriyama’s design.
Estos son los datos de mi partida. No me he dedicado en cuerpo y alma a este juego (apenas he buscado mapas del tesoro) pero veo que he invertido mucho tiempo aquí, y ha sido divertido.

These are the stats for my game. I haven’t been playing this full time (just got started with treasure maps) but I have invested a lot of time and it was fun.
Una cosa que hago casi todos los días es conectar a la tienda online, ver la lista de lo que se puede comprar hoy, y comprar todos los artículos que no tenga en mi colección.
ほぼ毎日やってるのはWi-Fiショッピングへの接続。日替わりのアイテムの中、持っていない物は全部買うことにしてる。
One thing I do almost every day is connect to the online shop, check the list of items for sale today, and buy everything I don’t have in my collection.

そしてこれは一番着やすそうな装備。僕に似てるかな？もちろん、これはおすすめできるゲームですよ！DSのRPGの中で面白い方です。
And this is his most comfortable equipment. Does he look like me? By the way, of course I recommend this game! One of the best RPGs for the DS.
