No muy lejos de mi casa y rodeado de edificios nuevos está este edificio en no muy buen estado.

新築の建物に囲まれて、家の近くにこういうぼろいアパートビルが建っている。

Not so far from my home there’s this worn-out building surrounded by new ones.

No os creáis que es una ruina. Me da la impresión de que aquí vive gente. Y no sé cuándo se construyó, de qué está hecha la casa ni si es seguro meterse dentro, pero me parece hasta bonita.

人が住んでいる気がするんだけど、いつ何で作られたか分からないし、安全かどうか何とも言えない。初めて見てその印象は、中に入るのは怖い。しかしある意味面白い建物だと思う。

I think there must be people living in here. I don’t know when it was built and what materials were used so I couldn’t tell wether it’s safe to enter this building, but it does look scary. However, I find it beautiful as well.

Una antena de televisión en la segunda altura. Estas antenas usadas en todo el mundo para VHF y UHF (incluyendo TDT) se llaman Yagi-Uda, en honor a dos señores japoneses que las inventaron en Japón hace 80 años.

2階にテレビアンテナ。このアンテナは世界中でVHFやUHFの受信(地デジを含めて)に使用される「八木・宇田アンテナ」というものだ。80年ぐらい前、日本で八木先生と宇田先生に開発された。

A TV antenna on the 2nd floor. This type of antenna used worldwide for VHF and UHF, including DTTV, is called Yagi-Uda antenna to honor two Japanese gentlemen who developed it some 80 years ago.

Y si nos fijamos un poco más hay una caja de una Sega Saturn (maquinaria de precisión).

ちょっと拡大してみるとセガサターンという精密機器の箱も見えてきた。
