El domingo estuve en la prerelease de Shadowmoor, la última expansión del juego de cartas coleccionables Magic: El Encuentro. Estas cartas nuevas no se venden hasta dentro de una semanas y pico, pero tuve la oportunidad de jugar con cartas en japonés y con gente japonesa. Se me cansó un poco la cabeza, pero valió la pena.
Hace unos 10 años que no soy jugador de Magic, pero cuando hay campeonatos en los que todas las cartas son nuevas para todo el mundo intento participar. El juego es mucho más interesante que cuando yo jugaba, y está mucho más preparado para los entornos limitados, en los que hacer la baraja a partir de cierto número de cartas forma parte de la competición.
日曜日はシャドウムーアのプレリリースに行ってきた。トレーディングカードゲームの先駆けであるマジック:ザ・ギャザリングの来月の頭まで買えない最新のカードで遊ぶことが出来た。日本語版カードで日本人プレイヤーと一緒にプレイ出来て面白かった。頭がちょっと疲れたけど。
マジックをまともにやらなくなったのは10年前の話だけど、誰も知らない新しいカードだけで遊ぶイベントには参加するようにしている。今のマジックは僕がやっていた頃より面白くなっている気がするし、リミテッド（新品カードでデッキを組む遊び方）はすごくしっかりしてきたらしい。
On Sunday I was at the Shadowmoor prerelease, playing with the latest Magic: The Gathering cards. You won’t be able to buy them until almost 2 weeks from now, but I was able to play Japanese cards with Japanese people. I ended up quite tired but it was worth it.
I haven’t been playing Magic seriously for 10 years but whenever there’s the chance to play with cards that are new to everyone I try to go to that event. The game looks much more fun than back when I was playing, and Limited (where you open new cards and build a deck to play with) has been improved a lot.

Este es un amigo cambiando de idea en cuanto a colores en los últimos 5 minutos que teníamos para leer nuestras cartas y construir el mazo.

Aquí las cartas que más me sirvieron durante las partidas. Gracias a ellas gané 3 de las 5 rondas, resultado con el que estoy satisfecho porque no había jugado al Magic desde la presentación de Lorwin. Además, me lo pasé muy bien.
この下のカードは大会で最もいい仕事してくれたカードだ。おかげで5ラウンドの内3ラウンド勝てた。ローウィンのプレリリースからやっていなかったからそんなに悪い結果でもないと思った。楽しかったし。
These are the cards that I found most helpful during the games. Thanks to them I won 3 rounds out of 5. Not that bad a result for a guy who hasn’t played at all since Lorwin prerelease, and I had a great time too.
