The hotel my parents stayed at in Fukuoka when they came last October was protected by Kurashiki Kako‘s RSL base isolation technology.

The RSL acronym is a Japanese invention meaning «rubber, steel, lead». But they also give it the Engrish meaning of «reliability, saving cost, liberty», which sounds quite corny to me, and may even sound suspicious to other people. Enjoy more RSL stuff pictures at Josecrem’s blog.
