Like I promised in the post about Etsuro Sotoo’s lecture, here’s a post about the Shinto shrine Shikaumi Jinja.

Este altar está dedicado al dios de la montaña. De lo que más me gusta del sintoísmo es el culto a la montaña y la naturaleza en general. De hecho, un festival de este templo es el «festival de decir piropos a la montaña». ¿Y esa caja que hay a la derecha?
この小さい拝殿では山の神が祭られている。山等自然を大事にするのは神道の僕の好きなところの一つ。この神社の「山褒め祭り」も見てみたいものだ。ところで右のあの箱は？
This small shrine is dedicated to the mountain god. Worshipping the mountains or nature in general is something I like very much about Shinto. This shrine even has a «Festival for Praising the Mountain», which I would love to see. By the way, what can be that box on the right?
Si dejas aquí una cartera vacía, tu dinero se multiplicará.
ここに空の財布を置いて行くとお金が増えるらしい。
If you put an empty purse here, your money will multiply.
Este es un templo muy tranquilo: se nota que las maderitas con deseos escritos tienen antigüedades bastante diferentes. Nos gustó mucho el templo porque usa mucha madera sin pintar y mucha paja, con lo que el ambiente es muy acogedor.
ここは静かな神社です。古い絵馬もまだ残ってる。木材のそのままの色とわらを活かしていて心地のいいところです。
This is a very quiet temple: old wishes written on wood are still here mixed with the new ones. We loved this shrine for it’s use of uncolored wood and straw. It has a very good mood.
El templo está en este islote llamado Shikanoshima, que está conectado con Fukuoka a través de Umi no Nakamichi, un tómbolo que es como la Manga del Mar Menor pero no. Aquí abajo tenéis la dirección del templo y un enlace al mapa.
神社は志賀島という、海の中道で福岡に繋がっている陸繋島という週類の島です。下記は神社の住所と地図へのリンクです。
The temple is on Shikanoshima, which is an island connected to the mainland by a tombolo called Umi no Nakamichi. Below is the address for the shrine, and a link to the map.
