En la Tsuji Rave 2 tuvimos un par de DJ invitados, además del clásico de Tsuji-Techno DJ Ten.

Su sesión de DJ se canceló por la lluvia, pero aquí tengo fotos de su sesión Game Boy.

DJセットは雨で中止になったけど、この下はゲームボーイセットの写真。

El sábado en Chi no Ame Special Edition también vi por primera vez a un grupo de rock ambient/sinfónico de Fukuoka llamado anthem of dying day. Suenan muy bien, y muchas cosas me recordaban a Robert Fripp o Brian Eno. Estuve hablando con ellos y me dieron una maqueta, me dijeron que algunas de sus mayores influencias son King Crimson y Pink Floyd. Podéis escuchar su música aquí.

土曜日は血の雨スペシャルエディションで福岡のアンビエント／シンフォニック・ロックバンドanthem of dying dayのライブを初めて見た。なかなかの出来だし、ロバート・フリップとかブライアン・イーノの影響を感じた。ライブの後声をかけてみたらデモCDをくれた。影響としてはキング・クリムゾンとかピンク・フロイドを挙げていた。彼らの音楽はここで聞ける。

Last Saturday at Chi no Ame Special Edition I saw Fukuoka’s ambient/symphonic rock band anthem of dying day. They sound very good, and many things reminded me of Robert Fripp or Brian Eno. I was talking with them after the event and they handed me a demo, and named King Crimson and Pink Floyd as influences. Listen to their music here.

Aural Vampire — オーラルヴァンパイア

Aural Vampire son un grupo de electropop to fiestero. Viéndolos ayer en directo en Fukuoka en el evento llamado Chi no Ame Special Edition me daba la impresión de estar en Barcelona en el FEA, el festival donde hicimos nuestro primer concierto en 2005.

オーラルヴァンパイアは楽しくてハードなエレポップユニット。昨日福岡で「血の雨スペシャルエディション」というイベントで初めて見たら懐かしい気持ちになった。バルセロナで初めてライブしたのはこういう系のフェスティバルのFEAだった。

Aural Vampire are a very fun elepop band. Yesterday I saw them playing live in Fukuoka at Chi no Ame Special Edition, and I remembered our time at Barcelona. In fact we debuted at FEA Festival, which is full of bands like this.

Ikari y Kuraku en Tsuji Rave 2

Ikari ha empezado a hacer música hace poco pero estuvo muy bien.

怒主たんはゲームボーイを始めたのは最近だけど、よくやった。

Ikari started tracking just a while ago, but the show was quite good.

Y Kuraku es un viejo conocido vuestro (abajo tenéis fotos antiguas suyas en pequeñito). Estuvo toda la noche tirando cañitas voladoras y fuegos artificiales, y su música es igual de explosiva.

苦楽はみんな知っているね（下のちっちゃい写真、見覚えあるでしょう？）。イベント中ずっと花火をやっていたけど、音楽も爆発的。

And I think you already know Kuraku (check the thumbnails below for old pics). He was playing with fireworks all night long, and I think his music is just as explosive.

Kaz en Tsuji Rave 2

¡Y seguimos con las fotos de la Tsuji Rave 2! Ahora voy a por los invitados, y Kaz de Kioto va a ser el primero. Kaz es un DJ muy especial. Solo pone música de consolas de videojuegos antiguos, pero además la mayoría de las veces esta música sale de la máquina original (las otras veces utiliza emuladores). Su equipo está presidido por dos Famicom (la Nintendo 8 bits japonesa) y una PC-Engine GT (TurboExpress).

辻レイブ2の写真、まだまだ続くぞ！今日からゲストを紹介しよう。京都のKAZさんは特殊のDJ。古いゲーム機の音楽しかならさない上に、ほとんど全部実機から流れている（エミュレーターもたまに使う）。目立つ機材は2台のファミコンと、PCエンジンGT。

And now for more Tsuji Rave 2 pictures! Let’s go for the guests. Kaz from Kyoto is a very unique DJ: he only uses music from old game consoles, and he almost always runs them from the original hardware (he sometimes uses emulators, though). Among his gear, two Famicom (Japanese NES) and a PC-Engine GT (TurboExpress) are the most eye-catching devices.
