YMCK Family Cooking ファミリークッキング

Ha salido el nuevo disco de YMCK y se llama Family Cooking. YMCK es un grupo de chiptune con el que pepino ha tocado en Nueva York y con el que hemos salido en un recopilatorio. Todas las canciones de este disco van sobre comida y cocinar, lo que me parece una idea estupenda y está muy bien llevado a cabo. Además salgo yo diciendo una frase en una de las canciones. ¿Alguien se había dado cuenta? ¿Y quién serán los demás que se escuchan ahí? ¡Muchas gracias Sr. Yokemura por llamarme para salir en una canción de YMCK!

YMCKの新アルバム出た！その名は「ファミリークッキング」。YMCKはチップチューンバンドで、ペピーノも一緒にニューヨークでライブしたことあり、オムニバスにも一緒に収録されたこともある。このアルバムの全ての曲は料理とか食べ物の話というのはいい発想だと思うし、できもさすがに良い！おまけに僕の声も入っている。一言だけだけど、誰か気付いたのかな？そしてそのパートの他のみんなは誰でしょうか？YMCKの曲に出る機会をいただいて、除村さんに感謝しています！

The new YMCK album is out and it’s called Family Cooking. YMCK is a chiptune band that pepino has played together with in New York City, and we’ve also been together in a compilation. All the songs in this album are about cooking or food and I think that’s a great idea. It’s very well crafted too. Also, you can hear me in one of the songs. It’s only one phrase, but did anybody notice? And who can be the other people there? Thanks a lot to Mr. Yokemura for contacting me for being on a YMCK song!

Rice Riot 米騒動

Rice Riot son un grupo de Hiroshima que hace conciertos gratuitos regularmente en el Parque Yoyogi de Tokio. Su música y ellos mismos son muy divertidos, y el 1 de octubre sacaron su primer disco «Kome Sōdō«.

Rice Riotは広島出身のバンドで、たまに代々木公園でストリートライブをします。音楽も人も面白いし、10月1日にメジャーデビューして「米騒動」という１枚目のアルバムを発売した。

Rice Riot are a band from Hiroshima who play regularly street lives at Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park. The music and the guys themselves are a lot of fun, and on 1 October they released their first album «Kome Sōdō«.

Después del concierto pude hablar un rato con el teclista Kuma, que recrea muy bien el sonido cuadrado de la Famicom (NES) con sus sintetizadores. Me contó que le encanta la Famicom, y yo le conté que hacía música un poco parecida y le di nuestra tarjeta. ¡Fue un placer hablar con usted, señor Oso!

ライブが終わったらキーボードのクマさんとちょっとだけお話し出来た。クマさんはファミコンが大好きで、その音をシンセで上手く再現している。こっちもある意味で似たような音楽をやってると伝えて名刺を渡した。お話し出来て光栄です、クマ先生！

After the street live, I had a little talk with keyboardist Mr. Kuma who recreates the Famicom (NES) square sound with his synths in a very accurate way. He told me he loved the Famicom, and I told him our music is similar in a way and handed him our card. It was a pleasure talking to you, Mr. Bear!

Mis juegos de Famicom — 持っているファミコンソフト

Como ya os dije voy a ir publicando fotos de las maquinitas y juegos que tengo en la categoría ciclos. Hoy toca la Famicom, que es más o menos el equivalente a la Nintendo Entertainment System. Tengo muy poquito porque juego poco.

前も言ったけど、持っているゲーム機とソフトの写真は連載カテゴリで公開する予定だ。今回はファミコンの出番。あまりやらないからあまり持っていない。

As I said already, I’ll be publishing pictures of my consoles and games in the cycles category. Today it’s the Famicom‘s turn (Japanese NES). I don’t have many games because I don’t play that much.

Aquí la tenéis con el Family Basic, un teclado con intérprete de Basic incorporado gracias al cual se pueden programar juegos y chorradas en la misma Famicom.

Ese disco que veis del Zelda es para la disquetera de la Famicom Disk System, que me la compré pero todavía no la he hecho funcionar. Y el Super Mario USA es el Super Mario Bros. 2 occidental a la venta en Japón con otro nombre, porque el Super Mario Bros. 2 japonés es otro juego que no se vendió en occidente. Por cierto, el Super Mario Bros. 2 occidental es a su vez una adaptación a «Mario» del juego de Disk System Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic, así que podéis ver que es un poco pescadillesco.

ゼルダのあのフロッピーはディスクシステム用。最近買ってまだ起動させていない。「スーパーマリオUSA」の方は外国で「スーパーマリオブラザース2」として発売された「夢工場どきどきパニック」というディスクシステムのソフトをマリオぽくしたもの。本当のマリオ2は外国で発売もされなかった。どうだ？ちゃんと混乱した？

That Zelda floppy is for the Famicom’s disk drive Disk System. I bought it recently but still haven’t set it up. Super Mario USA is the Japanese version of the Super Mario Bros. 2 that was available in the West (the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 was a different game that didn’t go for sale outside Japan). And aside from that, the western Super Mario Bros. 2 is actually a «Mario-ized» version of a Disk System called Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic. Confusing enough?

Comprando juegos en Chofu — 長府でゲーム買いまくり

Chofu es la zona que más me gusta de Shimonoseki porque hay un Hard Off bastante grande, una de mis tiendas de segunda mano favoritas. Hoy he podido pasarme por casualidad, y esto es lo que me he traído a casa.

長府は下関の中で一番好きなところ。理由は、ハードオフというリサイクルショップの大きい店舗があるということ。今日はたまたま寄ることが出来て、戦利品は下記の通り。

Chofu is my favorite place in Shimonoseki, because there is a big recycle shop called Hard Off. Today I was able to stop by, and this is the result.

El Disk System es posible que no funcione porque lo he comprado sin garantía, y estas máquinas se rompen con facilidad. Tengo que conseguir un alimentador o 6 pilas para probarlo, y puede que los discos que tengo también estén mal. El mundo del Disk System es un mundo incierto.

El MSX es de los baratos, uno que vendían más que nada para jugar. No tiene disquetera ni nada, pero se puede escribir Basic y se puede jugar con cartuchos (que todavía no tengo). Las teclas son de goma, me recuerda al Sinclair ZX Spectrum de 48k que tenía mi padre.

ディスクシステムは動作未確認ということで、動かない可能性高い（ディスクシステムって結構壊れると聞いている）。ACアダプタか電池を入手しないと・・・持っているディスクにもゲームが入っていない可能性あると思う。ディスクシステムって不思議だね。

MX-10の方はMSX系の中でも安い方で、主にゲーム用として発売されたらしい。フロッピードライブなどないけど、BASICが書けるしロムもプレイ出来る（まだ持っていないけど）。キーボードはゴム製で懐かしい。実家の初めてのパソコンのシンクレア・ZXスペクトラム48Kもゴム製だった。

The Disk System may not work because it wasn’t warranted to work by the shop, and Disk System units break easily. I should get an AC adapter or some batteries to try it, but the disks I have might not have games in them either… Famicom Disk System is an uncertain world.

And the MSX is among the cheapest ones, as it was meant mostly for playing games. So it has no floppy drive or anything, but you can write Basic and you can play ROM cartridges (although I still don’t have any). The keyboard is made of rubber, so it reminds me of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k my dad used to have when I was a child.

Kaz en Tsuji Rave 2

¡Y seguimos con las fotos de la Tsuji Rave 2! Ahora voy a por los invitados, y Kaz de Kioto va a ser el primero. Kaz es un DJ muy especial. Solo pone música de consolas de videojuegos antiguos, pero además la mayoría de las veces esta música sale de la máquina original (las otras veces utiliza emuladores). Su equipo está presidido por dos Famicom (la Nintendo 8 bits japonesa) y una PC-Engine GT (TurboExpress).

辻レイブ2の写真、まだまだ続くぞ！今日からゲストを紹介しよう。京都のKAZさんは特殊のDJ。古いゲーム機の音楽しかならさない上に、ほとんど全部実機から流れている（エミュレーターもたまに使う）。目立つ機材は2台のファミコンと、PCエンジンGT。

Kaz from Kyoto is a very unique DJ: he only uses music from old game consoles, and he almost always runs them from the original hardware (he sometimes uses emulators, though). Among his gear, two Famicom (Japanese NES) and a PC-Engine GT (TurboExpress) are the most eye-catching devices.
