Hoy por fin compartimos con vosotros las maravillosas vistas que hay desde Sensuijima.

今日はとうとう仙酔島からのすばらしい眺めを共有します。

Today I’m at last sharing the gorgeous views from Sensuijima.

Esto solamente es el paisaje que se veía desde la habitación del hotel Kokokara.

これはただ「ここから」の部屋から見える景色だ。

This is just the landscape from our room at Kokokara.

Subiendo a la montaña para encontrar mejores vistas, encontré este sitio que parece sacado de La Princesa Mononoke.

もっといい眺めを求めて山を上ろうと思ったら「もののけ姫」から出てきたような風景を見つけた。

Going up the mountain to get better views, I found this place that looks like it’s from Princess Mononoke.

Estos árboles están inclinados, con el tronco perpendicular a la ladera de la montaña.

ここの木は斜めになっている。山の斜面に直角に木の幹が伸びている。

These trees are standing oblique, making a 90 degrees angle with the mountain’s slope.

Puesta de sol ante una piedra conmemorativa de no se qué.

夕暮れ。この石碑が何なのんか確認するのを忘れた。

Sunset before a monument I forgot to check so I don’t know what it is.

Bajando una cuesta que luego tendríamos que subir.

後で上ることになる坂を下る。

Walking down a slope we’d have to walk up afterwards.

Y esta es la vista desde lo más alto que llegamos a subir.

そしてこれは行った中で一番高いところからの眺め。

And this is the view from the highest spot we got to.

Nos dirigimos en barco a la pequeña isla de Sensuijima.

船で仙酔島に向かう。

We rode a ship to the small island Sensuijima.

Aquí se ve una de las islas menores, Bentenjima (弁天島), en la que solo hay un templo sintoísta (no sabemos si habitado) que casualmente es el del dios protector del mar. Por el nombre que tiene (海上の守護神), también se podría decir que es el dios protector de los Kaijo (海上), la familia de Ai.

小さい方の島のひとつ弁天島には、神社意外に何もない。その神社は「海上の守護神」といって、愛の家族の名字の守護神とでも思ってもいいかな。

Here you can see a smaller island, Bentenjima (弁天島). All there is there is a Shinto shrine called Guardian God of the Sea (海上の守護神). Because of how this is written, one could say it’s also the guardian of the Kaijo (海上), the surname of Ai’s family.

Este es el barco que nos lleva. Tarda unos 15 minutos.

これは使った船。片道だいたい15分。

This is the ship that took us to the island. It took 15 minutes.

La playa es muy chula y muy cómoda porque casi no hay gente.

海は気持ちよくて、人が少ないからなおよし。

The beach was very cool and it felt great because there was very little people.

Aunque no lo parezca, este es el ryokan que habíamos reservado, que se llama Kokokara (ここから).

見えなくてもこれは予約した旅館。名前は「ここから」。

It doesn’t look like it, but this is the ryokan we had booked. The name is Kokokara (ここから).

Entre que en la fachada ponía “International Hotel New Kinsui” y que el logo del Kokokara incluye una flecha señalando a la izquierda, nos creímos que teníamos que ir a otro sitio.

「International Hotel New Kinsui」の看板があるし、「ここから」の看板のロゴマークに矢印が付いていて向こうまで行かないといけないかとみんな思ってしまった。

The “International Hotel New Kinsui” facade, and the arrow in the Kokokara sign made us think we had to go further.

Al final todo quedó claro, y nos dieron la habitación que estaba muy bien y con vistas al mar.

結局真相が分かったら部屋に入ったら。きれいな部屋で、海が見える。

Then everything went clear and we got our room, which was very good and one could see the sea.

Una cosa curiosa es que para abrir las taquillas del onsen usan correas de chanclas tradicionales japonesas. ¡Pero las mejores chanclas japonesas (geta) las veréis el próximo día!

温泉のロッカーには下駄のあれが付いていて面白かった。でも一番面白い下駄は今度紹介することにする！

Another interesting thing is the geta straps on the locker doors at the onsen. But I will show you the most interesting geta the next time, stay tuned!
