Nevadota en Fukuoka 福岡大雪

Ayer me desperté a las 5 de la mañana con ganas de ir al aseo y al final acabé saliendo a la calle a hacer unas fotos porque Fukuoka estaba nevada como nunca había visto en la vida. Luego me fui a dormir otra vez.

昨日朝の5時にトイレに行きたくて目が覚めた。外を見たら福岡が見たことないぐらい雪が積もってたから、外に出て写真を撮ってきてまた寝た。

Yesterday I woke up at 5 am to go to the toilet, and when I looked out the window Fukuoka was covered with snow as I had never seen it before. So I went out and took some pictures before going to bed again.

Los coches, cubiertos de nieve. Imagínate tener que cogerlo ahora.

車の上は雪ばかり。こんなときは乗りたくないね。

Cars covered with snow. I wouldn’t want to ride one now.

Había acumulados unos 5 cm de nieve.

雪が5センチぐらい積もってた。

There were about 5 cm of snow.

Hasta la clásica señal del niño cruzando sin mirar estaba nevada.

飛び出し注意の表記まで雪ばかり。

Even the classic «reckless children crossing» was covered too.

Moo Moo Land もーもーらんど油山牧場

Hace un mes nuestro amigo Carlos nos llevó con su familia a Moo Moo Land, una granja abierta al público en las afueras de Fukuoka.

1ヶ月前、福岡の油山の「もーもーらんど」という牧場に友達のCarlosが家族と一緒に連れて行ってくれた。

One month ago, our friend Carlos took us to Moo Moo Land, an open farm in Fukuoka.

En esta granja de vacas no había muchas vacas a la vista.

牛の牧場だけどそんなに見えなかった。

This is a cow farm, but we saw few cows outside.

Ovejas sí que había muchas.

羊ならいっぱいいた。

But there were a lot of sheep.

Y esta especie de patos ¿qué son? ¿Gansos?

このアヒルみたいな鳥は何だろう？ガチョウ？

And this duck-like birds. Are they gooses?

La carne de ternera de aquí estaba muy buena. A lo mejor tiene que ver con que no viéramos muchas vacas por ahí.

ここの牛肉は美味しかった。牛はそんなに見なかったのと関係があるのかな？

Beef here was very good. Is it related to the fact that we didn’t see a lot of cows?

Cierre de Love is Action 最終日

El miércoles pasado se cerró la exposición cambiante Love is action, y allí estuvimos para ver cómo había evolucionado desde la última vez.

先週の水曜日は変わる展示会「Love is Action」の終了日だったので、最後に見たときからどう変わったか見に行ってきた。

Last Wednesday was the last day at ever changing exhibition Love is Action, and there we were to check how the place had changed since the last time.

Estas grullas nos encantaron.

この鶴は凄いな。

These cranes are great.

Y este escarabajo de origami gigante mola un montón también.

このでかい折り紙のクワガタはカッコいい。

And this giant origami beetle is so cool.

Esto tiene que pesar bastante.

重たそう。

Must be heavy.

También había unas pirámides de arena que nos sorprendieron con su presencia.

置いてあってびっくりした、砂のピラミッド。

There were also these surprising sand pyramids.

Nunca había visto tanta arena encima de una mesa.

こんなたくさんの砂が机においてあるのは初めて見た。

I had never seen this much sand on a table.

Y no todo el arte fue de mirar y tocar. ¡También hubo unos takoyaki que eran una obra de arte! La exposición nos ha gustado mucho. ¡Felicidades a los organizadores!

でも見たり触ったりするアートばかりでもなかった。傑作たこ焼きもあった！展示会はとても面白かったです。主催の皆さん、おめでとうございます！

But not all the art was for looking and touching. There were also some takoyaki masterpieces! We loved the exhibition. Congratulations to the organizers!

Software Business Conference 2009 Fukuoka

El 5 de diciembre en la Kyushu Sangyo University se celebrará la Software Business Conference. Son una serie de conferencias para emprendedores organizadas por Takashi Sugiyama y Shunichi Arai de Software Business Lab, un grupo de personas que suelen organizar en Fukuoka charlas súper interesantes y por fin tienen la oportunidad de hacer algo grande. Por supuesto, como desarrollador autónomo que soy allí estaré. Hay que reservar plaza, pero es gratis.

12月5日、九州産業大学に「ソフトウェアビジネスコンファレンス」がある。内容は、一日中面白そうな講演です。主催はソフトウェアビジネスラボという福岡でソフトウェアビジネスの人が集まって教え合う福岡の会の杉山隆志さんと新井俊一さん。やっとでかいイベントを主催出来ましたね！僕もフリーのウェブ・デベロッパとして参加します。予約しないと行けないけど、無料で出来る。

On December 5th, the Software Business Conference will be held at Kyushu Sangyo University. It will be a series of lectures for entrepreneurs organized by Takashi Sugiyama and Shunichi Arai from Software Business Lab, a group of people who arrange interesting talks in Fukuoka and at last got the chance to organize something big. As a freelance web developer, of course I’m going! You need to register in order to go, but attendance is free.

Los ponentes incluyen emprendedores, inversores, abogados, contables… Incluso hay una persona que yo ya sabía quién era de antes: Toshimitsu Dan, el abogado del caso Winny (un famoso programa de p2p japonés que ha tenido problemas legales). Espero que vaya habiendo más cosas de estas en Fukuoka. Además también me pasaré por alguna charla de la Open Source Conference 2009 Fukuoka, dentro de la que se celebra la de Software Business.

講演する方々は起業家、投資家、弁護士、会計士・・・僕でも名前聞いたことある人も講演するよ！それは「Winny事件」の壇俊光弁護士。こういうイベントは福岡で増えるといいね。ところで、このコンファレンスは「オープンソースカンファレンス2009 Fukuoka」の一部だから、せっかくだからそこの講演もいくつか聞きに行く。

The lecturers include entrepreneurs, investors, lawyers, accountants… There’s even one person whose name I knew beforehand: Toshimitsu Dan, lawyer for the Winny case (a popular Japanese p2p program). I hope we have more things like this in Fukuoka. And by the way the Conference is celebrated within the Open Source Conference 2009 Fukuoka, so I’ll attend some of their lectures too.

Love is Action

El último día de Love is Action (ver artículo anterior) volvimos para ver cómo había evolucionado el mural. Bueno, y también porque había una fiesta.

「Love is Action」の最終日は壁画の様子を見に行った。パーティがあったのも大きな動機でした。（Love is Actionの基本はここで説明してある。）

The last day of Love is Action (see previous post) we went to see how the mural had evolved. The fact that there was a party was a big reason, too.

Aquí se puede ver a Inaguchi pintando sus curvas a pulso. Ni más ni menos que eso, así que esta vez no os esperéis un vídeo de cachondeo. Y a partir de aquí voy a detalles del mural, porque cortes por donde cortes es un cuadro.

フリーハンドの曲線を描く稲口さんです。それだけだから今回は笑える動画を期待しないで下さい。この下は壁画の所々をカメラで切り取ったものを載せよう。

Here’s Inaguchi painting his freehand curves. This video shows no more, no less than that, so don’t expect a laughable video this time. And below are details of the mural. Whichever crop of it would be a nice picture.

Si Leiji Matsumoto hubiera nacido 30 años después a lo mejor dibujaría así.

La fiesta estuvo muy bien y hubo mucha gente interesante. ¡Hasta pude hablar con un japonés fan del power metal de verdad! Me recomendó el Thundersteel de Riot, y yo a él los dos primeros de Scanner. El Thundersteel me ha molado. Supongo que no conocía a Riot porque son americanos.

パーティは面白い人がいっぱいいて楽しかった。日本人のパワーメタルファンと話出来た！Riotの「Thundersteel」をすすめられて、僕からScannerの最初の2つのアルバムをすすめた。「Thundersteel」はかっこいい。Riotを知らなかったのはアメリカのバンドだからかな。

The party was great because there were a lot of interesting people. I even had a conversation with a Japanese power metal fan! He recommended Riot’s Thundersteel and I recommended Scanner’s 2 first albums. I loved Thundersteel. Maybe I didn’t know Riot because they are American.
