¿El fin de Entrée?

Today we’re talking again about this furniture store called Entrée (the same that recently moved to the mysterious shop). The news is, the building they were using just got demolished.

The stuff is still in the suspicious shop place.

It’s interesting that it says «soundproof» on that. Was it really enough? No wonder Japan is among the noisiest places in the world.

But what will this become? Did they really sell the terrain, or are they building a new Entrée?

El fin de la tienda sospechosa

I told you long ago about this English furniture shop with a French name, and about a suspicious shop that was reborn from its ashes every few months.

Today I’m here to tell you the furniture shop is moving to the suspicious shop, probably to leave behind a property that had got too big for the business. It’s cool to see two stories from this blog finishing together!

At Umi no Nakamichi, on our way to Shikanoshima, we found this cute furniture shop called bambina+.

They made the furniture themselves, and they are all solid wood (no veneer). They use mostly cherry wood.

Me gusta la mesita esa esquinera.

I love that table in the corner.

There was a lot of furniture, exposed along with thingies made by other craftsmen.

¡Y el sitio es muy bonito! Una pena que estuviera nublado.

And the place was very nice! It’s a pity that it was cloudy.

Near my office there is an antique furniture shop.

The sign on the second picture reads «English furniture» but, strangely enough, the shop’s name is Entrée (French for «entrance»). This kind of language dislocations is common in Japan, and I find them quite amazing.
