Restaurante Popeye ランチハウスポパイ

Venimos de comer en un sitio muy pequeño, antiguo, y bastante bueno.

狭くて、古くて、美味しいお店でお昼食べてきた。

Today we had lunch at a small, old and good place.

Menú del día: yakiniku, 600 yenes. ¡Y el ambiente era muy bueno! Además este sitio no ha cambiado en muchos años.

今日の日替わり：焼き肉定食600円。雰囲気も良かった！ここは昔からちょっとも変わっていないらしい。

Today’s special was yakiniku, 600 yen. And the mood was very good here! Looks like the place hasn’t changed a bit in many years.

El protagonista es este delicioso cerdo con kimuchi, aunque me sorprendió mucho que no picara.

主役は以外と辛くなかった豚キムチ。上手かった。

The main dish is this delicious kimuchi pork. Although I was surprised it wasn’t spicy at all.

Hoy toca menú yakiniku, pero la sorpresa fue este ¡tempura de manzana! ¡Qué contrastes, qué sabor!

焼肉日替わりに隠された驚きのリンゴの天ぷら！味のコントラストが美味しい！

This is a yakiniku lunch, but there’s a surprise: apple tempura! The flavor contrast is amazing!

Sanma a la parrilla en Savatei サンマの塩焼き

Hoy he ido a comer al Savatei para reincorporarme a mi horario habitual y había un plato muy típico del otoño japonés: sanma a la parrilla.

今日は生活のテンポを取り戻すために鯖亭でお昼食べに行ったらサンマの塩焼きが出た。

Today I went to Savatei for lunch in order to recover my daily life tempo, and the daily lunch was grilled sanma.

El sanma se conoce como sauri o paparda en español y es un pescado que hecho a la parrilla con sal está muy sabroso, y además es uno de los manjares más típicos del otoño japonés. Para todos los que le tienen respeto a comerse un pescado entero con palillos, un truco del Sr. tak513: aplastar la raspa antes de empezar a sacar la chicha, de manera que las espinas salen al quitar la raspa en vez de tener que sacarlas después una a una.

お箸で焼き魚を食べるのは難しいから、kat513さんに教えてもらった：背骨をつぶしといたら、お肉をとるときには骨が付かない。助かりました！役立てています！

Sanma or pacific saury is a very tasty fish when grilled, and it’s very typical of the autumn in Japan. For everyone out there who still doesn’t dare to eat grilled fish with chopsticks, here’s tak513’s advice: crush the backbone before taking the meat so that you don’t have to remove the sanma’s small bones one by one.

No soy un experto con los palillos comiendo pescados a la parrilla, pero os digo lo que le dije a la mujer del restaurante: «no me lo he comido con mucha habilidad pero sí que me lo he comido muy a gusto». ¡Haciendo las cosas a gusto es como más se aprende!

それでもまだまだ焼き魚の初心者です。でもお店の人に言った通り「あまりきれいに食べれなったけど、とても美味しく頂きました」。新しいことをを身につけるのなら、嬉しい時は一番！

But I’m still a newbie at having grilled fish, so I said this to the restaurant’s manager – «I didn’t eat it in a quite correct way, but I enjoyed every bit of it». When one’s enjoying, it’s the best time to practise new stuff!

Para colmo, parece que el menú de ayer era arroz hayashi, una especie de curry japonés pero sin picante, y como sobró un poco la encantadora señora del restaurante me puso «una tapita» de regalo. Por supuesto, estaba delicioso también.

おまけに、昨日の日替わりはハヤシライスだったらしくて、その残りもサービスされた！もちろん美味しかった。

Besides, it looks like yesterday’s lunch was hayashi rice (like Japanese curry, only it’s not spicy at all) and the cook served me some leftovers. No need to say it was delicious!

Comiendo en Savatei 鯖亭でお昼

Hacía tiempo que no iba al Savatei y hoy he comido allí. El plato principal era tofu frito, en primer plano y cubierto de daikon rallado y katsuobushi (bonito seco laminado).

最近鯖亭には全然行ってなかったので、お昼に寄った。今日の日替わりのメインは揚げ豆腐だった。

Lately I haven’t been going to Savatei so I went there for lunch today. The main dish was fried tofu, covered with daikon and katsuo bushi.

Como siempre había muchos platitos distintos con cosas buenísimas para la salud, entre ellos una quiche de hijiki (un alga). Era la primera vez que probaba esta combinación de ingredientes europeos y japoneses, y estaba muy bueno. Todo estaba muy bueno. Además el té que me pusieron era manzanilla, lo que fue una sorpresa más. ¿Cuánto haría que no me tomaba una manzanilla?

健康に良さそうな小皿がいっぱい付いていたけど、一番驚いたのはヒジキのキッシュ。そんな和＋洋食は初めて見た！もちろん、美味しかった。全部旨かった。また、もらったお茶はカモミールだった！それは、また驚いた。何年ぶりのカモミールだろう？

As always, there were plenty of small dishes with stuff that is probably very good for health. What surprised me most was a quiche filled with hijiki, a sea weed. The western-eastern combination was very good, everything was very good. And the tea I was served was chamomile, a.k.a. surprise number 2. How long has it been since I last had chamomile?

Y la primera foto se ve mejor, pero en esta ves todo lo que había. Siempre salgo muy satisfecho de Savatei ¡y la comida solo cuesta 500 yenes!

一番上の写真の方がよく見えるけど、このしたのでは全体が見れる。鯖亭に行くときはいつも満足しています。500円は安い！

The first picture is better, but on this one you can see everything. I’m always satisfied at Savatei, and all this is only 500 yen!

Además tiene un ambiente muy especial. Como está en una zona residencial, no se suele ver gente con prisa, los que están suelen hablar entre ellos… Un encanto de sitio, vamos. Hoy he conocido a una mujer muy amable que me ha invitado a ir mañana a clase de Aikido… ¡A las seis y media de la mañana! Muchas gracias señora, le prometo que me levantaré.

それに、何となく神秘的な雰囲気がある。住宅地にあるから急ぐ客はあまり見ないし、人はのんびりしていたりお話ししていたりする。素敵なところだ。今日出会った女の方に、合気道の体験に誘われちゃった。ありがとうございます！明日はちゃんと早起きします。（体験は午前6:30からだ）

Also the restaurant has a very special atmosphere. It’s deep in a suburb, so you don’t see many people in a hurry for lunch. People take it easy, talk among them… A wonderful place. Today I met a woman who has invited me to experience an aikido class tomorrow… at 6:30 am! Thank you very much, I promise I’m getting up.
