Coque Malla en el falso Japón 偽日本に言ってみたCoque Malla氏

Están grabando en mi ciudad natal Alicante un nuevo vídeo musical del músico español Coque Malla, y allí estaba mi padre josecrem para dar parte.

スペインの音楽家Coque Malla氏の最新のプロモーションビデオは、僕の地元のアリカンテで撮影された。父のjosecremが写真を取ってきました。

They just recorded Spanish musician Coque Malla‘s latest video clip in my hometown Alicante, and there was my dad josecrem to take pictures.

¿Y qué hace esto en pepinismo? Pues resulta que en el parque donde grabaron también hay una caseta que parece ser una estación de tren japonesa.

何でこういうことをpepinismoに？撮影した公園には、日本の駅のちょっとしたレプリカみたいな小屋があっるから。

But wait, why is this on pepinismo? Well, there’s this hut in the park where they were recording that looks like a Japanese train station.

Se llama Kofuku Station (幸福駅, Estación Felicidad). Y el cartel da el pego estupendamente. ¿Tendrá por casualidad alguna relación con la letra de la canción de Coque Malla? No sabemos para qué canción están grabando, pero parece que la Estación no tiene que ver con el vídeo…

幸福駅らしい。この駅はたまたま曲の内容と関係があるのだろうか？どの曲のビデオかまだ分からないけど、撮影と駅は無関係だったらしい・・・

The name is Kofuku Station (幸福駅, Happiness Station). And the sign looks real enough. Could it be related to the song’s lyrics? We don’t know what song the video was taken for, but it looks like the Station and the video were unrelated…

Coque Malla era el cantante del famoso grupo de rock de los 80 Los Ronaldos. La canción que más recuerdo es Adiós, papá.

Coque Malla氏は、80年代の人気ロックバンドLos Ronaldosのヴォーカルだった。一番記憶に残る曲は「Adiós, papá」。

Coque Malla was popular 80s rock band Los Ronaldos’ vocalist. The song that I remember best is Adiósn, papá.

Bentens ベンテンズ

Bentens son dos chicas que tocan y cantan por las calles de Fukuoka. Su estilo se basa en el tradicional arte de los chindonya, pero en vez de hacer publicidad de tiendas las Bentens se dedican a cantar sus propias canciones que incluyen bastantes letras guarras. Con su carisma y simpatía, Bentens consiguen que incluso las barbaridades que dicen parezcan elegantes. Se nota que disfrutan muchísimo haciendo lo que hacen, y por eso uno no puede evitar quedarse mirando y sonreir.

ベンテンズは福岡で路上演奏をする女性二人組です。チンドン屋の芸をベースにしているみたいですが、お店の宣伝をするのではなくて下ネタを交えた独自の歌を歌う。しかし下ネタが入っていてもイメージはスマートだ。お二人も上品に見える。本当に楽しんでそうに見えるから立ち止まって見てしまいます。

Bentens are two girls who sing and play in the streets of Fukuoka. Their style is based in the traditional art of the chindonya, but instead of advertising shops Bentens sing their own songs that often include dirty lyrics. With their smiles and charisma they make even the dirty words sound elegant. It’s obvious that they enjoy a lot what they do, and that’s one reason one can’t help stop walking, smile and watch them.

Una de ellas toca en shamisen, y la otra la percusión típica del chindonya.

一人は三味線で、もう一人はチンドン屋のパーカッション。

One of them plays shamisen, and the other one plays the traditional chindonya set of percussion.

Parece que su nombre viene de Benten o Benzaiten, uno de los siete dioses de la suerte.

名前の由来は「弁天」及び「弁財天」らしい。七福神の一人。

Looks like their name comes from Benten or Benzaiten, one of the seven gods of fortune.

Pepino at Fukuoka Now’s 10th Anniversary Party

Karaoke con e-kara イーカラでカラオケ

El otro día me compré en una tienda de segunda mano algo que tenía ganas de probar desde hacía tiempo. Era el e-kara de Takara, el micrófono de karaoke que se conecta a la tele y lee las canciones de un cartucho como los de la Game Boy, y salió a la venta el 20 de octubre del año 2000.

この間ジャンク品を見ていたら前から試したかった物を見つけた。2000年10月20日発売のタカラのイーカラ。このマイクをテレビに繋げるだけでカラオケが楽しめる。曲はゲームボーイのカセットみたいな物から読み込む。

The other day I found at a second hand shop something I had wanted to try for some time. Takara‘s e-kara was released on October 20 in 2000, and you just have to connect it to your TV to enjoy some karaoke. It reads songs from cartridges similar to Game Boy ones.

Aquí podéis ver a Ai cantando la canción de Lamu, Lum o Urusei Yatsura (como más os suene), y a mí cantando Uchuu Senkan Yamato.

これはうる星やつら（ラムちゃん）の主題歌を歌う愛と、宇宙戦艦ヤマトを歌う僕。

Los controles son sencillos pero no falta nada: volumen, tempo y clave de la canción, y efectos y eco para la voz. Además de un botón para quitar la canción, por supuesto.

操作は簡単だけど足りない物はない：ボリューム、テンポ、キー、エコー、エフェクト・・・もちろんキャンセルボタンも。

Control is simple but it doesn’t lack anything: volume, tempo, key, echo and voice effects, and of course a button for cancelling a song.

En un cartucho de estos suelen venir 18 canciones. El tamaño del cartucho en sí es ligeramente más grande que un juego de Game Boy Advance.

1個のカセットには普通は18曲が入っている。カセット自体のサイズはゲームボーイアドバンスのソフトより少しだけ大きい。

A cartridge usually holds 18 songs, and the size of the thing is just a bit bigger than a Game Boy Advance game.

La curiosidad por saber cuántos megabits ocupan 18 canciones con sus 18 fondos me llevó a abrir el cartucho (aunque usaba tornillos con cabeza triangular). Pero no lo he podido averiguar porque la ROM no está en un circuito integrado tipo cucaracha sino en uno tipo lenteja, y no tiene nada escrito por fuera.

その18曲＋18枚の背景は一体どんだけのメガビットに入っているか調べたくて開けてみた（珍しい三角頭のネジだけど）。しかしロムは普通のICじゃなくてぷよぷよみたいなやつだったから何も書いてなかった。残念。

I wanted to know how many megabits was it taking to store 18 songs with their 18 background pictures, so I opened a cartridge even though it had rare triangle-headed screws. Too bad the ROM chip wasn’t your usual black square but a blob without a single hex number written on it.

El próximo 18 de octubre Takara-Tomy pondrá a la venta el Hi-kara, que es como el e-kara pero 8 años después y con pantalla (información en español en Un español en Japón). Y valdrá 10500 yenes, más de 10 veces lo que he pagado por el e-kara, así que aunque me parece chulo por ahora voy a seguir amortizando el e-kara.

今度の10月18日にタカラトミーが新しいハイ・カラを発売するらしい。イーカラに画面が8年後にくっついたみたいな物で、希望価格は10500円らしい。面白いと思うけど、最近イーカラを買ってきたからもうしばらく使わせてもらう。ハイ・カラの価格の1割もしなかったし。

Next October 18, Takara-Tomy is releasing the new Hi-kara, which is more or less like a new e-kara but with a screen, and 8 years after. It will cost 10500 yen, more than 10 times what I paid for my e-kara, so I guess I’ll have to use this one for a while.
