Els Amics de les Arts es un grupo de música en catalán que ahora mismo está muy de moda en Barcelona. Resulta que tienen una canción sobre Dragon Ball, y ahora han hecho una versión en japonés (la original es en catalán) con la que les hemos ayudado en la traducción Marc Bernabé, taccu y yo, y Urías en la parte logística. ¿Qué os parece la versión japonesa? Hoy la han presentado en directo en el Salón del Manga de Barcelona, donde por cierto podéis comprar nuestro libro Soñar con Japón en el stand de CineAsia, y el lunes 1 de noviembre ver el documental de Urías: Crónicas desde Cipango. ¡No os lo perdáis!

今スペインのバルセロナなどカタルーニャ地方ではやりのEls Amics de les Artsというバンドは、前にドラゴンボールをテーマにしたカタルーニャ語の歌を作っていた。そして今回はその歌の日本語版を公開した！日本語版の翻訳・作詞に手がけたのはマルク・ベルナベさんとtaccuさんと僕です。そしてプロジェクトを仕切ったのはUríasです。今日はスペインの最大のマンガ・アニメのイベントSalón del Manga de Barcelonaでこの曲をライブで紹介したそうだ。皆さんこの歌をどう思うかな？

Barcelona’s trendy band Els Amics de les Arts have a song in Catalan about Dragon Ball, and they just made a Japanese version. Marc Bernabé, taccu and myself localized the Japanese lyrics, and Urías directed the effort. The band played the song live at Spain’s biggest manga and anime event, Salón del Manga de Barcelona. How do you like this version?

Improvisando con la Game Boy ゲームボーイでアドリブ

El día del concierto de pepino en Studio Kura y la performance de Shintaro Miyazaki, hicimos una prueba de varias personas tocando la Game Boy en directo a la vez, y como fue muy divertido nos gustaría organizar un taller de música de Game Boy para hacer más cosas con más gente.

Studio Kuraでのpepinoライブや宮崎晋太郎さんのパフォーマンスの同じ日に、何人か同時にゲームボーイで演奏する実験をしてみた。結構面白かったので、今度はみんなでもっとできるようにワークショップをしたいね。

The same day pepino played live at Studio Kura and Shintaro Miyazaki did a performance, we tested how a number of people playing Game Boy live at the same time would sound, and as it was very fun we’d like to organize a Game Boy music workshop to do more stuff with more people.

Fue un concierto muy íntimo en una galería de arte, y puede que nos hayamos sentido más libres y cómodos que nunca tocando en directo. Nos gustaría tocar más veces en ambientes de este tipo, y también empezar a hacer cosas relacionadas con niños.

アートギャラリーでとても心地よいライブでした。今までライブしてきた中で一番自由を感じたかもしれない。こういう雰囲気でまたやりたい！そして、今度子供と一緒に何かをやりたいね。

It was a very intimate concert at an art gallery. It may have been the time we’ve felt most free and comfortable while playing live. We’d love to play live more often in this kind of ambiences, and we also want to start doing things with kids.

Concierto de pepino en Itoshima 糸島ライブ

¡Por fin un concierto en Itoshima! Me parece muy fuerte salir yo solo de esta manera en el fondo del flyer, pero es muy divertido el diseño.

ついに糸島ライブ！フライヤーの背景に自分だけこんな風に写っててすごいけど、面白いデザインだと思う。

Playing live in Itoshima at last! It was very shocking to see myself depicted this way in the flyer’s background, but the design looks cool to me.

Coque Malla en el falso Japón 偽日本に言ってみたCoque Malla氏

Están grabando en mi ciudad natal Alicante un nuevo vídeo musical del músico español Coque Malla, y allí estaba mi padre josecrem para dar parte.

スペインの音楽家Coque Malla氏の最新のプロモーションビデオは、僕の地元のアリカンテで撮影された。父のjosecremが写真を取ってきました。

They just recorded Spanish musician Coque Malla’s latest video clip in my hometown Alicante, and there was my dad josecrem to take pictures.

¿Y qué hace esto en pepinismo? Pues resulta que en el parque donde grabaron también hay una caseta que parece ser una estación de tren japonesa.

何でこういうことをpepinismoに？撮影した公園には、日本の駅のちょっとしたレプリカみたいな小屋があっるから。

But wait, why is this on pepinismo? Well, there’s this hut in the park where they were recording that looks like a Japanese train station.

Se llama Kofuku Station (幸福駅, Estación Felicidad). Y el cartel da el pego estupendamente. ¿Tendrá por casualidad alguna relación con la letra de la canción de Coque Malla? No sabemos para qué canción están grabando, pero parece que la Estación no tiene que ver con el vídeo…

幸福駅らしい。この駅はたまたま曲の内容と関係があるのだろうか？どの曲のビデオかまだ分からないけど、撮影と駅は無関係だったらしい・・・

The name is Kofuku Station (幸福駅, Happiness Station). And the sign looks real enough. Could it be related to the song’s lyrics? We don’t know what song the video was taken for, but it looks like the Station and the video were unrelated…

Coque Malla era el cantante del famoso grupo de rock de los 80 Los Ronaldos. La canción que más recuerdo es Adiós, papá.

Coque Malla氏は、80年代の人気ロックバンドLos Ronaldosのヴォーカルだった。一番記憶に残る曲は「Adiós, papá」。

Coque Malla was popular 80s rock band Los Ronaldos’ vocalist. The song that I remember best is Adiósn, papá.

Hideto 秀人君

Mola tener un familiar fan de X (mi grupo de metal favorito) y que use réplicas de guitarras de hide (difunto guitarrista de X). ¡Pero que le ponga a su hijo Hideto (el nombre de pila de hide) es el colmo de todo lo que mola!

一番好きなメタルバンドであるXのファンの親戚がいて嬉しい。hideのギターのレプリカを弾くのもかっこいいと思う。でも息子に「秀人君」という名前を付けるのはかっこよすぎる！

It’s cool to have a relative who is an X fan (my favorite metal band) and I also find it cool that he uses guitars that are replicas of the ones hide had (now deceased, he was a guitarist at X). But the fact that he named his son Hideto (hide’s first name) is awesome!

Me regaló este muñeco de hide con la pinta de cuando su primer disco Hide Your Face, que además es el que más me gusta. Probablemente porque es el más heavy. ¡Gracias!

「Hide Your Face」の頃の格好のこのフィギュアをくれた。また、最初のソロアルバムで、僕のお気に入りです。一番メタル性のあるアルバムだからかな。ありがとうございます！

He gave me this hide figure, which looks like him when he released his first album Hide Your Face. It also happens to be my favorite album by him, probably because it’s the one with the most metal in it. Thank you!
