Estas sillas para niños tan curiosas son obra de Tomotaka Nagao, también conocido como Sünao Lab.

この面白い子供用椅子は、スナオラボこと長尾朋貴さんの作品です。

These fun kid chairs are the work of Tomotaka Nagao, also known as Sünao Lab.

This week he’s been having an exhibition at koti, the hair salon that always has something cool to look at. The exhibition will be there only until tomorrow (Tuesday, 26th) so hurry up!

El Sr. Nagao es una persona muy interesante con quien espero hablar otra vez. También hace muebles de tamaño normal, y más cosas.

Mr Nagao is a very interesting person I’d be very happy to talk to again. He also makes regular sized furniture and other stuff.

El tema de esta exposición era: cosas hechas con piezas sobrantes después hacer muebles. ¡Y aún así siguen sobrando! Te puedes llevar algún taco de madera de regalo.

この展示会のテーマは：作った家具のあまった「かけら」で物を作る。それでも、まだあまってる！1個もらってもって帰ってもいいみたい。

The theme for the exhibition was: things made up from the pieces that remain after making furniture. And still some pieces remain! You can take one home as a souvenir.

Estación de Hagi 萩駅

Al norte de la prefectura de Yamaguchi está Hagi, un centro importante de todo lo que cambió en Japón en la era Meiji.

山口県の北にある萩市。明治時代に日本を変えたの出来事に関わった町です。

Hagi is in the north of Yamaguchi Prefecture. It was an important place for many things that happened in Japan during the Meiji Period.

Ahora la ciudad no es tan grande como otras, pero la estación que hicieron en 1925 sigue siendo muy bonita.

今の萩はそんなに大きくないけど、1925年に建てられた駅は今見ても奇麗。

Now the city isn’t as big as others, but the station that was built in 1925 is still beautiful.

天神シティライブラリー Tenjin City Library

Hoy os presento un espacio de estudio en Tenjin (el centro de Fukuoka) que curiosamente es una iniciativa privada: Tenjin City Library

今日紹介したいのは天神にある私立自習室：天神シティライブラリー。

Today I’d like to introduce a private study space in Tenjin: Tenjin City Library.

Es un sitio amplio y relajado en el que podemos leer, investigar, estudiar, escribir, etc. por un módico precio. Por supuesto, también hay Wi-Fi. En el centro de la ciudad no había muchas opciones de estas características si uno no quería conformarse con una cafetería.

広くて静かな空間で読書、調べもの、勉強、物書きなどできる。もちろんWi-Fiもある。有料だけど、天神でこういうことをカフェでやりたくないならあまり選択肢がなかった気がする。

It’s a wide, quiet place where one can read, investigate, study or write for a small price. Of course, there’s Wi-Fi. I don’t think there were many places to do this in the center of Fukuoka, unless you don’t mind going to a cafe.

Un punto positivo es que hay bastante de manga por si necesitas descansar o desconectar.

気分転換のために漫画も置いてあっていい感じ。

It’s nice that they have some manga in case you have to rest or disconnect.

Por supuesto también hay muchos otros libros. Desde información para preparar exámenes hasta libros con información sobre los temas más diversos. Y entre los usuarios de la biblioteca había desde profesionales que estaban ahí para investigar sobre su trabajo hasta estudiantes de instituto. Además de jubilados, por supuesto.

もちろんその他本もいっぱいある。資格試験に役に立つ本からいろんな分野の情報が乗って居る本まで。利用者の中に調べものをしに来ているプロから高校生までいたと思う。お年寄りももちろん。

Of course there are many other books as well. From information about exams and certifications to books with information about anything. And among the users of this space I saw people ranging from professionals investigating for their work to high school students. And some seniors as well.
