Hanami con melocotoneros 桃で花見

El domingo, de camino a Fukuoka, pasamos por la Prefectura de Okayama para visitar a unos amigos. En Okayama también era temporada de hanami, pero creo que más que cerezos había muchos melocotoneros.

日曜日は福岡に帰ってる途中で岡山県でお友達に会いに行ってきた。岡山もお花見季節だったけど、桜より桃が多かったかもしれない。

Last Sunday we stopped by Okayama Prefecture while coming back to Fukuoka, to meet some friends. It was the hanami season in Okayama too, but I think there were more peach trees than cherry trees.

El melocotón de Okayama es muy famoso y parece que realmente hay muchos melocotoneros en la zona. Ojo porque estos árboles pueden parecer cerezos, pero son melocotoneros.

岡山桃は有名で、本当にいっぱい作ってるみたい。桜に見えてしまうかもしれないけど、これは桃だ。

Okayama peaches are very popular, and it does look like they’re making lots of them. These may look like cherry trees, but they’re all peach trees.

Subimos a un templo muy acogedor que había en el vecindario.

近状の心地のいい神社に行ってみた。

We went to a very cute Shinto shrine in the neighborhood.

Y ¡sorpresa! Hay un ring de sumo que se usa en las fiestas. Los hombres pelean aquí, y las mujeres hacen «sumo con el culo» en otro lado. ¡Esto hay que verlo!

凄い！お相撲できる！お祭りでは男がここでお相撲して、女は別のところでお尻相撲するらしい。これは絶対見てみたい！

And surprise! There was a sumo ring. Looks like men fight here during festivals, and women do «butt sumo» at another place. I have to see that!

Hanami en Shimokitayama 下北山で花見

Llevamos más de dos semanas de cerezos en flor en Fukuoka, pero no ha sido hasta este fin de semana que he hecho un hanami y ha sido bastante lejos: en Shimokitayama, Prefectura de Nara.

福岡では桜がもう2週間以上咲いてるけど、今週末までちゃんと花見に行けなかった。しかも遠いところで！奈良県の下北山。

It’s been more than two weeks since the cherries blossomed in Fukuoka, but it wasn’t until this weekend that I got to do the hanami.It was quite far too: Shimokitayama, in Nara Prefecture.

Es el sitio donde vivían antes mis cuñados, que ahora tienen este perraco tan bonico. Es un borzoi o galgo ruso y se llama Viento. También tiene un blog.

ビエント（スペイン語で「風」）というこのかっこいい大型犬（ボルゾイ）を飼っている愛のお姉さん達が昔住んでいたところです。この子のブログもありますよ。

It’s is the place where Ai’s sister’s family was living some years ago. They have this big dog called Viento (Wind in Spanish) which is a Borzoi. And he has a blog, too.

Después de 3 horas en coche, ya se ve a lo lejos el sitio.

車に3時間のったところ、目的地が見えてきた。

After 3 hours by car, we got to see the place from far away.

Así de bonito es un hanami en un pueblo tranquilo. Es la primera vez que lo hago fuera de la ciudad y me ha gustado mucho.

静かな町の花見はこんなにきれい。今まで毎年都会でしてきたので、今回は特に楽しかった。

Hanami at a peaceful town can be as beautiful as this. It’s the first time for me to do it outside the city and I loved it.

A Ai y a nuestra sobrina K también les gusta mucho. Parece que K no se acordaba mucho porque cuando se mudaron tenía 1 año.

ここは、愛も姪っ子のKちゃんも好きだった。Kちゃんは、1歳の頃に引っ越した覚えていないみたいだけど。

Ai and our niece K loved the place too. Looks like K can’t remember the place because she was 1 when they moved, though.

En realidad esto era el Festival del Sakura, y tenían montado un karaoke con escenario y todo. Yo canté Uchū Senkan Yamato, una canción #TLQM.

本当は桜祭りだった！凄いステージとカラオケもあったので宇宙戦艦ヤマトの主題歌を歌ってみた。

It was the Sakura Festival actually, and since they had this great stage and karaoke I sung Uchū Senkan Yamato.

Estas señoras daban vueltas por la zona del hanami vendiendo café calentito. Muy monas.

おばさんたちは花見の会場を回ってあたたかいコーヒーを売っていた。かわいかった。

The ladies were walking around the hanami place and selling hot coffee. They were so cute.

Y para terminar, una obra de nuestra otra sobrina Y. «Aho» (tonto) escrito con ramitas.

Hola, me llamo DS どうも、DSです

Domo, DS Desu (Hola, me llamo DS) es el segundo juego del Nintendo Game Seminar 2009 que se distribuye.

どうも、DSですは任天堂ゲームセミナー2009の配布される作品の二番目。

Domo, DS Desu (Hi, my name is DS) is the second Nintendo Game Seminar 2009 game to be distributed.

Al principio nos hacen creer que es un juego típico y clásico pero de repente la DS nos empieza a hablar. Y sigue hablando durante todo el juego.

最初はごく普通のアクションゲームだと思わせられるけど、DSがいきなり喋りだす。それからずっと喋る。

They first make you thing it’s a typical, classical game but then the DS starts talking. Then he keeps speaking for the whole game.

El juego en realidad va de cómo juega contigo la DS. Aquí parece que está escribiendo su diario.

このゲームの本当のテーマはDSで遊ぶんじゃなくて、DSと一緒に遊ぶこと。ここでは日記を書いてるらしい。

This game is actually about how the DS plays with you. He’s even keeping a diary.

Al principio me pidió que le masajease los botones. Es bastante curiosa la idea.

最初はボタンがこってるからマッサージしてほしいと言ってくる。面白いアイデアだな。

First he asked me to massage his buttons. Nice idea.

Luego hay un juego de 3 en raya en el que la DS hace trampas.

次はまるばつゲーム（三目並べ）をさせられる。DSがズルする。

Then he wanted to play tic-tac-toe, and even cheated.

Y luego hacemos un dibujo a medias. En general tiene algunas ideas originales pero como juego me pareció un aburrimiento.

その後、一緒にお絵描きする。このソフトには新鮮なアイデアがいっぱい入ってるけど、ゲームとしてはだるいと思った。

After that he felt like drawing something together. This program has some fresh ideas, but felt very slow altogether.

Makino Udon 牧のうどん

Hace poco descubrí una cadena de restaurantes de udon muy conocida en Fukuoka y Saga pero en la que casualmente no había comido nunca: Makino Udon.

最近知ったけど福岡と佐賀では結構知られてるらしい：牧のうどん。

I just discovered an udon chain which seems to be quite known in Fukuoka and Saga: Makino Udon.

Lo hacen todo a la vista, como en muchos restaurantes de este tipo. Y estaba bastante más limpio que muchos otros.

こういうお店で良くある台所丸見え。しかもきれいな方だね。

You can see everything that’s happening –this is common in this kind of restaurant. But this is cleaner than many.

A la izquierda se ve algo parecido a una masa de pizza enrollada en un palo. Es la masa de udon. La máquina amarilla del centro la corta y sube por la cinta transportadora de la derecha hasta la olla gigante que hay fuera de plano. ¡Todo recién hecho!

ピザの生地が巻いてあるのに見えるのはうどんの生地！真ん中の黄色い機会で切られ、コンベアーベルトで右に行ってでかいお鍋みたいなところに入る。全部できたて！

On the left you can see something resembling an uncooked pizza rolled on a stick. Well that’s the udon dough! The yellow machine in the center of the picture cuts it and then it’s carried by a conveyor belt to a giant pot. Everything is fresh made!

Para pedir hay que rellenar un papelito, como en el Juanito. Una de las cosas que más me gustaron es que es todo muy barato, pero lo que me encantó es que se puede pedir el udon duro (al dente). Como no me lo puedo comer muy muy caliente, si no lo pido duro se me queda blando para cuando puedo comérmelo. Creo que nunca había disfrutado tanto del udon por esta razón. ¡He vuelto a nacer!

注文はJuanitoみたいに用紙記入式。安いのも気に入ったけど、麺の固さが選べるのは僕にとって最高にありがたい。猫舌だから硬麺にしないとのびちゃう。今までずっとのびた物を食べたのに気がついた。これで生まれ変わった！

Orders work the same way as in Juanito. I like that it’s cheap, but what I love is that one can choose how hard the noodles should be. I can’t have it as soon as it hits the table because that’s too hot for me, so I had my udon hard. Maybe I’d never enjoyed udon so much. I was born again!

Udon con croqueta grande: 400 yenes. 3 trozos de pollo frito (karaage): 150 yenes. ¡Y todo buenísimo!

コロッケうどん：400円。唐揚げ３個：150円。それに美味しい！

Udon and croquette: 400 yen. 3 pieces of fried chicken (karaage): 150 yen. And delicious!

Esta pinta tiene por fuera. Tienen unos 20 locales, así que si dais vueltas por Fukuoka (sobre todo en coche) probablemente veáis uno.

外観がこんな感じだから見たら分かると思う。20店舗ぐらいあるらしいし、福岡・佐賀の辺で車でうろうろしてたらどこかにあるかもしれない。

This is how it looks from outside. They have like 20 shops so if you drive around Fukuoka you’ll likely see one.
