Neela bailarín de Bollywood インド映画ダンサーニラ

El otro día haciendo una de mis clases de educación internacional en una escuela, conocí a un indio que había ido a hacer lo mismo. Se llama Neela, es bailarín, y ha salido en más de 500 películas en su país.

この間、ある学校で国際理解教育の授業をしに行ったら同じく授業に呼ばれていたインド人に出会った。ニラという名前のダンサーで、インドで500本以上の映画に出演しているそうです。

The other day I went to give on of my international education lessons at a school, and got to meet an Indian guy who was there for the same reason. His name is Neela, he’s a dancer, and he’s been in more than 500 movies in his country.

Aquí tenéis un vídeo de Neela bailando solo, mucho más impactante en mi opinión que otros en los que sale con otra gente. Me parece muy expresiva esta forma de bailar, y por supuesto me encantaría saber yo también. ¿A ti qué impresión te da?

Here’s a video of Neela dancing alone, in my opinion more intense than others where he’s dancing with other people. I thought this way of dancing is very expressive, and I’d love to be able to do this too. What do you think?

Pilaf y curry

Fuimos a nuestro restaurante de curry hindú favorito y, como siempre, salimos muy bien servidos.

好きなインドカレー屋さんに行ってみたら、やっぱりおいしい。

We went to our favorite Indian curry restaurant and it was as good as always.

Ai comió arroz pilaf, que se parece más a la paella de mi madre que las paellas que hemos probado en restaurantes españoles de Japón. Como siempre, se puede elegir el nivel de picante y Ai eligió 0.

愛はピラフを食べた。日本で食べてきたパエヤ（和製スペイン語で「パエリヤ」という料理）よりもお母さんのパエヤに似てる。辛さはもちろん選べて、愛は甘口にした。

Ai had pilaf, which is a lot more similar to my mom’s paella than the paella we’ve had at Spanish restaurants in Japan. You can choose how much spice you want, and Ai chose 0 spice.

Yo, arroz con curry de pollo y salchichas. Un plato nuevo que por supuesto no me ha decepcionado. Mi nivel de picante: 2.

僕はチキンとウインナーのカレーライスにした。新しいメニューがいつも美味しいお店です。辛さは2倍にした。

I had chicken and wiener curry rice. It’s a new dish, and new dishes are always good here. My spice level was 2.

プロデューサー、インドカレーの辛さ50倍に挑戦 — El Producer se come el curry hindú más picante

A mi colega el Producer no le gusta el picante, pero el otro día en mi restaurante de curry favorito se pidió la comida con el máximo de picante que se podía elegir en la carta. El resultado es obvio, pero no por eso menos divertido verlo.

友達のプロデューサーは辛いのが好きじゃないのに、なぜかお気に入りのインドカレー屋さんでメニューの中で一番辛い50倍を頼んだ。結果はみんな予想出来ると思うけど、見ても面白い。

My friend Producer does not like spicy food, but for some reason he ordered the most spicy curry on the menu at my favorite curry restaurant. The result is obvious, but still fun to watch.

Hamburguesa con curry hindú — インドハンバーグカレー

Hoy he ido a mi restaurante favorito de curry hindú y he probado la hamburguesa con curry. La hamburguesa era de pollo y cerdo y estaba buenísima. Los japoneses hacen curry con ternera, pero ya se sabe que los hindúes no comen ternera ni la dan de comer.

今日はお気に入りのインドカレー屋さんでハンバーグカレーを食べた。インド人は牛肉を食べないということで、ハンバーグ自体は豚肉と鶏肉だった。牛肉より美味しかった。

Today I went to my favorite Indian curry restaurant and had hamburger curry. The hamburger is made of chicken and pork, and it was delicious. Japanese people make beef curry, but Indian people don’t eat beef.

Además, había un chico nuevo extranjero al que estaban enseñando a saludar a los clientes, cómo poner la mesa, y esas cosas. A ver si me hago colega y me enseña musicote hindú to guapo.

それに今日は新しい人がいた。若い外国人の方で、挨拶とテーブルの準備などを教えてもらっていた。仲良くなったらインドの音楽について教えてもらえるかな。

And today there was this new, young foreign guy. They were teaching him how to greet customers, how to set tables, etc. Maybe I can become friends with him and he’ll tell me about some cool Indian music?

Curry hindú — インドカレー — Indian Curry

Hoy os hablo de comida que no es japonesa: ¡curry hindú! Sí, el curry japonés es muy famoso (al menos en Japón) pero es un poco distinto del hindú. Este último suele ser más líquido (el curry japonés es pastoso) y se sirve en un plato separado del arroz o nan (un pan hindú).

今日の話は日本の料理じゃなくてインドカレー！とろとろしていないのと、カレーとライス／パンは別のお皿に分かれているのは特長。おまけに、インドのナンというパンは上手い！

And now for some non-Japanese food: Indian curry! Yes, Japanese curry is very popular (in Japan), but it’s a little different from the Indian one. The latter is more fluid (Japanese curry is almost sticky) and it’s served in a different dish than the rice or bread. By the way, that Indian nan bread certainly has a flavor (an amazing one).

En este restaurante se puede elegir la cantidad de picante que quieres en una escala de 1 a 50, donde 1 es normal y de cinco hacia arriba pica demasiado para los humanos. Yo he aprendido a pedírmelo con 2, que parece ser lo justo para mi paladar, mi estómago y mi tracto intestinal. ¡Ah! Lo que veis vale 700 yenes.

このお店では辛さが1から50倍まで選べるけど、5倍以上は激辛。何回か来たら、自分の口と胃にとって２倍がちょうどいいと分かった。ちなみに今日の写真の品は700円だった。

At this restaurant you can choose how spicy you want your curry from 1 to 50, 1 being normal and 5 or greater being too spicy for non-Indians. I have learned my perfect match is just double spice (2). Oh, and all you see on the picture was 700 yen.
