Soñar con Japón en Colombia

Nuestro libro Soñar con Japón está disponible en la Feria del Libro de Bogotá. ¡Estamos muy contentos de encontrar nuevos lectores en Latinoamérica! La feria, una de las tres más importantes de Latinoamérica, dura hasta el 23 de agosto. Ahora solo falta que el libro se venda en Venezuela y nos inviten a algún sarao por allí. Lo digo porque mi madre nació en Caracas. ¡Hola, mamá! Y qué ganas tengo de ir a Alicante también.

僕達の写真集「Soñar con Japón」はコロンビアの首都で開催される本のショーFeria del Libro de Bogotáで販売されている。ラテンアメリカの読者が増えてとても嬉しい！このショーはラテンアメリカの中で一番大きい三つに入るぐらい大きくて、23日まで開催される。後はベネズエラでも本が売れたらね・・・うちの母はベネズエラ出身だから、イベントなどに呼ばれたら嬉しいな。

Our book Soñar con Japón is available for purchase at the Feria del Libro de Bogotá. We’re very happy with our new readers in Latin America! The Fair is among the 3 biggest in Latin America, and is being held until the 23rd. Now if only the book went for sale in Venezuela and they called us for some event! Did I ever tell you my mom is from Venezuela? She lives in Spain, though. Hi, mom!

La guerra del gyūdon 牛丼ウォーズ

Este gyūdon grande (bol de arroz cubierto de ternera) con kimchi y sopa de miso me salió baratísimo hace unas dos semanas.

2週間ほど前に食べたこの牛丼大盛りとキムチとお味噌汁はとても安かった。

This large gyūdon (bowl of rice covered with beef), kimchi and miso soup were all really inexpensive two weeks ago.

Hace unos meses que las principales cadenas de comida rápida japonesas que se dedican al gyūdon están en una guerra declarada, y se puede comer un gyūdon mediano solo por menos de 300 yenes.

ここ何ヶ月、牛丼チェーンが争っていて牛丼並みは300円を切っている。

The main Japanese fast food chains selling gyūdon are in a war, and one can get a regular gyūdon for less than 300 yen.

Por otro lado, este gyūdon que me he comido hoy en el Aeropuerto de Haneda (Tokio) me ha costado 890 yenes. Comer fuera en Japón es en general barato, pero los precios de los aeropuertos no perdonan.

一方、羽田空港で今日食べたこの牛丼は890円もした。日本で外食するのは平均で安いけど、空港での値段はやっぱり例外だ。

On the other side, this gyūdon I had today at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport was 890 yen. Eating out is usually very affordable in Japan, but prices at the airport are often more expensive.

El metro y los fuegos artificiales 地下鉄と花火大会

Noche de fuegos artificiales el domingo en Fukuoka. Cuando nosotros volvíamos de Itoshima, mucha gente iba con su yukata hacia el Parque Ōhori para ver los fuegos.

日曜日は福岡で花火大会の夜だった。糸島から帰ってきたら、浴衣を着て大濠公園に向かう人が少なくなかった。

Sunday was fireworks night in Fukuoka. As we came back from Itoshima, many people headed for Ōhori Park in their yukatas.

En Japón los billetes de tren casi siempre se venden en máquinas, pero cuando hay saraos de este tipo se junta tanta gente que los treneros salen de sus escondites y se pueden comprar y recibir los billetes de manos humanas (por tiempo limitado).

日本では、電車の切符はほとんど自販機で販売されていると思うけど、お祭りなどのときは人が多すぎて駅員さんが隠し部屋から出てきて、珍しくマンツーマンで切符を買うことができる。

In Japan, train tickets are almost always sold at vending machines, but on festival days the train people come out of their hideouts and you can get tickets from human hands (for limited time only).

«¡No olviden comprar sus billetes de vuelta!» En las fotos no parece que haya tanta gente, ¿no? Es porque la gente va a la hora quiere pero casi todos vuelven exactamente cuando se acaba. Así que a la vuelta es cuando se monta el auténtico mogollón. ¡Mira las fotos de los fuegos en el blog de Nashiko, que él sí que fue!

「帰りの切符を買うのを忘れずに！」写真には人がそんなに写っていないけど、本当に人ごみになるのは帰りのときらしい。なぜなら、人は好きな時間に会場に行くけど、ほとんどみんな帰るのはイベントが終わる時間。花火大会の写真はヤッチマイナシコでご覧下さい。彼は本当に見たから！うらやましいね。

«Don’t forget getting your return ticket!» You may be thinking there aren’t that many people on the pictures. Well, people go to these events at different times, but most of them want to go home at the same time –when it ends. Look at the fireworks pictures at Nashiko’s blog!

Obras en verano 夏の工事現場

Hoy me he encontrado con una obra bastante grande al sol, que pega fuerte después de comer. Por cierto, la forma que tienen los obreros de mirar a las mujeres es la misma en Japón que en España.

今日は大きい工事現場を見つけた。しかも昼間の凄い日当りの下。ところで、現場作業員さんの女性を見る目は、スペインでも日本でも変わらないらしい。

Today I found a large construction site. It was sunny and hot, and the way workers look at women is the same in Japan and Spain.

Casi todos van de manga larga y con guantes, pasando calor. Yo hace tiempo que quiero esos pantalones morados. Se llaman nikka.

ほとんどみんなは長袖に手袋で暑そう。それと、昔から欲しいニッカ。

Most people wear long sleeves and gloves. That must be hot. And I’ve wanted those purple trousers forever. They’re called nikka.

Esta máquina tan plana y tan amarilla mola un montón.

この機械は、黄色くて広い表面があってかっこいいと思う。

This big flat yellow machine looks awesome.

Y esta, si yo tuviera 10 años, sería TLQM sin duda.

これは、僕10歳だったらかっこよくてたまらなかったでしょう。

And if I was 10 years old this one would look even more awesome.

Pero lo que me parece TLQM ahora es esta pantalla de LED con una animación de un señor moviendo un pañuelo.

でも今たまらないのは踊るおじさんの映像が流れるこのLEDスクリーン。

But what I think is cool today is this LED screen which was showing an animation of a guy waving.

Y ojo porque no era la única pantalla de LED. Son una plaga. ¡Que me regalen una!

LEDスクリーンがいっぱいあって凄いと思った。1つぐらいわけてくれ！

And that wasn’t the only LED screen. There were too many of them. They should give me one!

Y hablando de plagas, cómo molan los soportes de vallas con forma de animales. Si seguís pepinismo instantáneo probablemente los habréis visto con forma de rana, mono, conejo, etc. ¿Qué os ha gustado más de la obra?

この「通れません」動物は最近よく見るようになった。pepinismo instantáneoをいつも見てくれてる人はカエルさん、お猿、ウサギさんなどを見ていると思う。皆さん、この現場で何が一番好きですか？

You’ve got to love these animal barriers. If you’ve been following pepinismo instantáneo you’ve already seen monkeys, frogs, rabbits, etc. What did you like most in this construction site?

Casa oasis en la gran ciudad オアシスのような家

Entre grandes edificios he encontrado esta casa que me recuerda a un barco. Da a una carretera muy grande y el contraste de la atmósfera rural que tienen la casa y su jardín con el ambiente urbano e industrial de los alrededores es impresionante. ¡Si parece todo hecho a mano!

大きい建物の間にあった船を思い出すこの家。大きい道路の隣だし、この家と庭に周りに結界がはられているようなぐらい、周辺と雰囲気が違う。全て手作りに見えるしね！

Among big buildings, I found this house tat reminds me of a ship. It’s beside a wide road, and its atmosphere is exactly the opposite to that of any of the buildings there are around. Everything looks like hand craft!
