5.0, programa del 27 de noviembre de 2007

Hoy os presento otro programa atrasado de 5.0, en el que hablo de la evolución del mercado de los videojuegos caseros en Japón. Es el programa que se emitió el 27 de noviembre y podéis escucharlo aquí mismo o descargarlo a vuestro ordenador. Para los impacientes, os espero en el minuto 50.

Mis juegos de Famicom — 持っているファミコンソフト

Como ya os dije voy a ir publicando fotos de las maquinitas y juegos que tengo en la categoría ciclos. Hoy toca la Famicom, que es más o menos el equivalente a la Nintendo Entertainment System. Tengo muy poquito porque juego poco.

前も言ったけど、持っているゲーム機とソフトの写真は連載カテゴリで公開する予定だ。今回はファミコンの出番。あまりやらないからあまり持っていない。

As I said already, I’ll be publishing pictures of my consoles and games in the cycles category. Today it’s the Famicom‘s turn (Japanese NES). I don’t have many games because I don’t play that much.

Aquí la tenéis con el Family Basic, un teclado con intérprete de Basic incorporado gracias al cual se pueden programar juegos y chorradas en la misma Famicom.

これは本体とファミリーベージック。ファミコン実機でゲームなどのプログラムが出来るキーボード＋BASIC。

This is the Famicom itself and Family Basic, a keyboard with a Basic interpreter that can be used to program games and random stuff on the Famicom.

Ese disco que veis del Zelda es para la disquetera de la Famicom Disk System, que me la compré pero todavía no la he hecho funcionar. Y el Super Mario USA es el Super Mario Bros. 2 occidental a la venta en Japón con otro nombre, porque el Super Mario Bros. 2 japonés es otro juego que no se vendió en occidente. Por cierto, el Super Mario Bros. 2 occidental es a su vez una adaptación a «Mario» del juego de Disk System Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic, así que podéis ver que es un poco pescadillesco.

ゼルダのあのフロッピーはディスクシステム用。最近買ってまだ起動させていない。「スーパーマリオUSA」の方は外国で「スーパーマリオブラザース2」として発売された「夢工場どきどきパニック」というディスクシステムのソフトをマリオぽくしたもの。本当のマリオ2は外国で発売もされなかった。どうだ？ちゃんと混乱した？

That Zelda floppy is for the Famicom’s disk drive Disk System. I bought it recently but still haven’t set it up. Super Mario USA is the Japanese version of the Super Mario Bros. 2 that was available in the West (the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 was a different game that didn’t go for sale outside Japan). And aside from that, the western Super Mario Bros. 2 is actually a «Mario-ized» version of a Disk System called Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic. Confusing enough?

Programando en MSX-Basic — プログラミング — Programming

Ayer enchufé el MSX que me compré hace unos días, me bajé un curso de MSX-BASIC y me hice un programa para probarlo. Cortito porque no tengo disquete ni cinta para grabarlo.

昨日は先日買ってきたMSXの電源を入れて、MSX-BASICの説明書を落として、試しにプログラムを書いておいた。テープもフロッピーもないので短い者にした。

Yesterday I used for the first time the MSX I bought some days ago. I downloaded a MSX-BASIC user guide and wrote a test program. I don’t have a tape or floppy to store my programs, so I kept it short.

Cuando Ai volvió a casa, se produjo el diálogo entre la mujer (Ai) y la máquina. Fue algo parecido a esto:

El listado del programa es una chorrada. Se entiende sin tener ni idea de programación, siempre que sepa un mínimo de inglés y no se tenga miedo de las palabras en japonés.

プログラムのリストは基本の基本。プログラミング経験ない人にでも分かると思う。英語の知識は少し必要だけど。

The program’s list is trivial. People with no programming knowledge should be able to read it if they aren’t scared of Japanese.

Comprando juegos en Chofu — 長府でゲーム買いまくり

Chofu es la zona que más me gusta de Shimonoseki porque hay un Hard Off bastante grande, una de mis tiendas de segunda mano favoritas. Hoy he podido pasarme por casualidad, y esto es lo que me he traído a casa.

長府は下関の中で一番好きなところ。理由は、ハードオフというリサイクルショップの大きい店舗があるということ。今日はたまたま寄ることが出来て、戦利品は下記の通り。

Chofu is my favorite place in Shimonoseki, because there is a big recycle shop called Hard Off. Today I was able to stop by, and this is the result.

El Disk System es posible que no funcione porque lo he comprado sin garantía, y estas máquinas se rompen con facilidad. Tengo que conseguir un alimentador o 6 pilas para probarlo, y puede que los discos que tengo también estén mal. El mundo del Disk System es un mundo incierto.

El MSX es de los baratos, uno que vendían más que nada para jugar. No tiene disquetera ni nada, pero se puede escribir Basic y se puede jugar con cartuchos (que todavía no tengo). Las teclas son de goma, me recuerda al Sinclair ZX Spectrum de 48k que tenía mi padre.

ディスクシステムは動作未確認ということで、動かない可能性高い（ディスクシステムって結構壊れると聞いている）。ACアダプタか電池を入手しないと・・・持っているディスクにもゲームが入っていない可能性あると思う。ディスクシステムって不思議だね。

MX-10の方はMSX系の中でも安い方で、主にゲーム用として発売されたらしい。フロッピードライブなどないけど、BASICが書けるしロムもプレイ出来る（まだ持っていないけど）。キーボードはゴム製で懐かしい。実家の初めてのパソコンのシンクレア・ZXスペクトラム48Kもゴム製だった。

The Disk System may not work because it wasn’t warranted to work by the shop, and Disk System units break easily. I should get an AC adapter or some batteries to try it, but the disks I have might not have games in them either… Famicom Disk System is an uncertain world.

And the MSX is among the cheapest ones, as it was meant mostly for playing games. So it has no floppy drive or anything, but you can write Basic and you can play ROM cartridges (although I still don’t have any). The keyboard is made of rubber, so it reminds me of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k my dad used to have when I was a child.
