En Yufuin visitamos la galería de un artista de origen coreano, un señor que se llama Chung Tong-ju. En sus pinturas usa tanto el área pintada como su ausencia como herramientas de expresión, y a menudo usa caracteres kanji (¿o hanja?) en sus obras. Aquí arriba vemos, de derecha a izquierda, el cielo (空), el viento (風) y la nada (無).
湯布院では、在日韓国人2世のアーティストのギャラリーを訪ねてきた。鄭東珠（チョン・トンジュ）さんの作品では、色の有無が表現に使われていて、漢字もよく出てくる。この上の写真には「空」と「風」と「無」が写っています。
In Yufuin, we paid a visit to the gallery of an artist with Korean roots, Chung Tong-ju. In his work, both color and void are tools of expression, and many times there’s a kanji theme. Above you can see sky (空), wind (風) and nothing (無), left to right.
Tiene su galería privada (Gallery Murata) en una zona de montaña de Yufuin que está llena de museos, galerías y talleres de artistas. La entrada es gratuita, pero los martes y miércoles está cerrado.

His private gallery (Gallery Murata) is on a hill at Yufuin where there are lots of museums, galleries and workshops. Entrance is free, but it’s closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

El señor Chung es muy afable y estuvimos hablando un rato de Picasso y de Miró, cuya obra le encanta. ¡Incluso nos mandó una postal chulísima, porque le habíamos dejado nuestra dirección en el libro de visitas!
チョンさんは親切で話しやすく、しばらく彼が大好きなピカソとミロの話をしました。連絡先を教えたら、いつの間にか素敵なはがきを送ってくれたのです！
Mr. Chung was very nice and we talked for a while about Picasso and Miro –he loves their work. He even sent us a very cool postcard, because we had written our address on his guest book!
