8-Bit Prophet

Este es el álbum tributo a que va a sacar Vorc Records el 3 de junio por 1500 ¥. Está lleno de chiptunes cantadas por el sintetizador de voz Vocaloid (famoso por Hatsune Miku), versiones de canciones del legendario grupo de tecno-pop y rock japonés TM Network.

Vorc Recordsが6月3日に発売予定のTMネットワークトリビュートアルバム（1500円）。チップチューンとボーカロイド（初音ミクの声を生成するソフト）で再現されたTMN曲がいっぱい。

This is the tribute album to be published on June 6th by Vorc Records for ¥1500. It’s packed with chiptunes sung by the Hatsune Miku famous voice synthesizer Vocaloid, and they are covers for songs by the legendary Japanese techno-pop and rock band TM Network.

En general tiene un sonido muy clásico y he podido acostumbrarme al Vocaloid (pensando en él como un sintetizador más que como una voz). Pero las canciones que más me han gustado son «Come On Everybody» de K->, que es instrumental y parece un Mega Man de la Game Boy, y «Get Wild» de Saitone, que siendo el bonus track se distancia del resto con un sonido menos clásico y una voz real tratada con muchos efectos.

結構8ビットゲームらしいクラシック音が多い。ボーカロイドにもやっとなれたと思うけど（声じゃなくてシンセとして考えたらなれた）一番気に入ったのはインストルメンタルでゲームボーイのロックマンワールドを浮かばせるK->さんの「カモン・エブリバディ」と、アルバムと違う雰囲気を持つボーナストラックのSaitoneさんの「ゲット・ワイルド」。多くのエフェクトをかけられた本物のヴォーカルが凄い。

Sound is very reminiscent of classic 8-bit games, and I think I’ve managed to get used to Vocaloid (by thinking of it more as a synth than as a voice). But the songs I like most are K->‘s «Come On Everybody» which is instrumental and sounds like a Game Boy Mega Man game, and Saitone‘s «Get Wild» which as a bonus track has a different touch, with a less classical sound and a real voice, though heavily effected.

La edición del disco es muy cuidada, con caja de cartón y las letras de todas las canciones. Recomendado a todos los que estén interesados en los chiptunes, el Vocaloid, o las canciones de TM Network. Otros grupos del líder de TM Network, Tetsuya Komuro, son trf y globe. También ha hecho canciones para ~~gentuza~~ gente como Kumi Koda o Ayumi Hamasaki, e incluso ha colaborado con Yoshiki de X. ¿Conocías alguna canción suya?

CDの出来がレベル高く、歌詞まで付いている。チップチューン、ボーカロイド、TMネットワークまたは小室哲哉のファンにはお勧めです！ちなみに僕は最近の裁判と関係なく小室さんの音楽のファンです。あなたは？

The CD’s edition has lots of nice details, like the lyrics for all the songs. I recommend it to all people interested in chiptunes, Vocaloid, TM Network or Tetsuya Komuro, the band’s leader who also leaded trf y globe, and has also produced songs for people like Kumi Koda o Ayumi Hamasaki. He has even collaborated with X‘s Yoshiki. Did you know any of his songs?

Pescado en Japón 魚料理

El pescado en Japón no se come solo crudo ni mucho menos. De hecho, el sushi y el sashimi no son platos de diario pero los pescados cocinados sí lo son.

日本で食べる魚は全部生じゃない。これも世界に知られ始めたらしい。

In Japan we don’t always have our fish raw. In fact, neither sushi or sashimi are usual treats at homes while cooked fish are.

Este es un sanma a la plancha. Personalmente me da un poco de cosica pero es de las pocas «comidas con cara» que soy capaz de comer. Sacar la chicha con los palillos requiere cierta práctica así que no pidáis pescados a la parrilla si no sois maestros palilleros.

これはサンマの塩焼き。個人的にはちょっと不気味に見えると思うけど、僕でも頑張って食べれる「顔つき食べ物」の一つです。食べるのに結構なお箸技術が必須。

This is a grilled sanma. I find it a bit creepy but it’s one of the few «foods with face» I can actually eat. Getting to the good part with chopsticks requires some practice so I can only recommend grilled fish to chopstick masters.

Otro plato bastante común es el pescado blanco empanado, crujiente por fuera y calentito por dentro. A menudo se sirve con salsa tártara. Este pescado es mucho más fácil de comer ya que normalmente no tiene piel ni espinas.

白身フライもよく見る魚料理の一つだ。外はぱりぱりで、中は温かい。タルタルソースが付いてくることが多い。骨や皮が殆ど付いていなくて、実に食べやすい。

Another quite common dish is deep fried fish, crispy on the outside and warm in the inside. Often served with tartare sauce. This fish is much easier to eat, usually having no bones or skin.

Y os dejo con esta foto de la variada guarnición del Savatei, una de las cosas que más me gustan de este restaurante donde hice todas las fotos que veis aquí.

Sushi de supermercado スーパー寿司

El otro día estaba solo, no me apetecía cocinar y cené sushi.

この間一人だったし料理したくなかったので、晩ご飯をお寿司にした。

That night I was alone and not willing to cook anything, so I had sushi.

Lo compré en el supermercado muy barato: todo esto por 250 yenes. Está a mitad de precio (半額) de lo que dice en la pegatina.

スーパーで安く手に入った。半額で250円。

Got it for very little at the supermarket –all of this for ¥250. It was half price (半額) of what the seal said.

El sushi estaba hecho antes de las 3 de la tarde, pero a la hora de cenar todavía estaba bastante bueno. Los he comido peores en algún que otro restaurante.

3時前に作られたお寿司だけど、夜にでも美味しかった。お店にでもこれほど美味くないのを食べたことある。

This sushi was made before 3 pm, but it wasn’t bad at all later at night. I’ve had worse at some restaurants.

Venía un sobrecito de salsa de soja, al que añadí yuzu kosho en vez de wasabi. El yuzu kosho es un condimento de pimentón y piel de yuzu (un cítrico) que usamos mucho aquí en Kyushu y está muy bueno.

付いていた醤油にわさびの代わりにゆずこしょうを混ぜた。唐辛子とユズで出来た九州の美味しい調味料です。

Instead of wasabi, I added yuzu kosho to the soy sauce included. Yuzu kosho is a spicy seasoning made of chile peppers and yuzu. We use it a lot in Kyushu, and I love it.

Nueva tienda de productos sanos 漂流健康商品店

Están volviendo a montar otra tienda misteriosa en el mismo local donde cerró otra hace dos semanas. Esta historia se repite una y otra vez en el mismo local.

2週間前閉店した健康商品店の同じ物件でまた新しい漂流健康商品店が出来ている。この話は何度も繰り返される。

They’re getting ready a new mysterious shop at the same place where the last one closed 2 weeks ago. This story gets repeated over and over.

El mismo regalo que se recibió cuando inauguraron la última vez, enviado por la misma empresa, pero esta vez el destinatario es Cosmo Plus. Por cierto, en la lista de tiendas de la página web de Cosmo Plus no sale esta. Puede que sea un establecimiento de segunda categoría.

この間の開店祝いと同じものが、この間と同じ会社から贈られてる。今回の宛先はコスモプラスだけど。ちなみにコスモプラスのウェブサイトの店舗一覧にはこのお店が載っていない。B級店舗なのかな。

The same present they got when the last shop opened, sent by the same company. Only this time it’s sent to Cosmo Plus. By the way, in the shop list on the Cosmo Plus website they don’t mention this shop. Is it a low-ranked retail spot?

Este es el interior. Todavía no han abierto así que faltarán cosas, pero algo me dice que no traerán mucho más que sillas plegables. ¿Será que no gastan en decoración porque tienen previsto cerrar pronto?

これは店内。まだ開店していないから物が増えるはずだけど、折り畳み椅子以外はあまり何も持ってこない気がする。インテリアの手抜きの原因はもしかして、早い閉店の予定？

This is inside. They aren’t open yet so they might get more stuff, but I have a feeling they won’t get much more than some folding chairs. Do they save in decoration because they know they’ll be closing soon?

健康商品：海苔。

Más: miso, salsa de soja, pan. Tengo ganas de ir a que me hablen de sus productos y otras cosas. ¿Pero hasta cuándo durará esta tienda?

もっと：味噌、醤油、パン。商品などについてお話を聞きたいけど、このお店はいつまで持つでしょうか？

More: miso, soy sauce, bread. I’d like to go and ask about their products etc. but how long will it take for this shop to close?

Mister Donuts + Mos Burger = Mosdo

Un rato después de comer en el Orto Cafe, tak y yo fuimos al Mister Donut a comernos una mini hamburguesa donut Mosdo, que es parte de una colaboración con Mos Burger.

オルトカフェで食べてからちょっとしたら、takとミスドに行ってモスドというハンバーガードーナツを食べてみた。モスバーガーとのコラボ。

A while after having lunch at Orto Cafe, tak and I went to Mister Donut and had a mini Mosdo hamburger donut. It’s a part of their collaboration with Mos Burger.

En realidad lo de dentro es chocolate y cosas de fresa. Todo es dulce. No estaba mal.

中身は本当はチョコレートと、イチゴ味の物質。全部甘い。悪くはなかった。

The contents are actually chocolate and strawberry-flavored stuff. All sweet. Not bad.

Las patatas, con forma de churro, también eran un poco dulces pero estaban buenas con ketchup. En general este producto es un ejercicio de combinación de sabores.

チュロ型ポテトもちょっと甘かったけど、ケチャップで美味しかった。結局この商品は味の組み合わせの試しみたいだ。

The churro-shaped fries were a bit sweet too, but tasted good with ketchup. Overall this product is an exercise of flavor combination.

Pero si hago cuentas al final me quedo con el old fashion. Por cierto, no dejéis de leer sobre la hamburguesa donut de Mos Burger en el blog de Flapy.

でも考えてみればやっぱりオールドファッションがいい。

But come to think about it, I’d still rather have an old fashion.
