Yesterday, someone posted a message to a board telling that he would be killing a lot of people today at a station in Kyushu (the island in Japan where Fukuoka is located). He said he shared feelings with Kato, the Akihabara killings’ author, but he said he would kill more people. Police started investigating his identity right away, and that shouldn’t be too complicated as the internet board was only accessible by mobile phones. By the way cell phones in Japan are registered with their owner’s name, and an ID number is sent in all internet transmissions.

Me condenarán a muerte
Mataré a más gente que Kato»

The offending message
«Tomorrow I’ll do a killing at a certain station in Kyushu, that will become History
I’m the same as Kato
I feel the same as him
I’ll be executed
I’ll kill more people than Kato»

Today, a 17 years old girl has been charged with minor offence in Fukuoka prefecture. Looks like she said «I had the Akihabara killings in mind, and I did this just for the lulz«.

Ciruelos en Dazaifu —

Yesterday we went to Dazaifu and most plum trees were covered in blossom.

Report and pictures from pepino live in KIIS

¡Hola! Soy Ai.

Hi! This is Ai.

As we told you before, we played at a festival of an university on last Saturday. They treated us very kindly and we could enjoy playing there so much even though there was a strong wind. Many children also came to this festival and they said to us «Show me the Game Boy!» «Looks like he is wearing pajama» while we were on the stage. We enjoyed conversations with them so much.

¡El escenario era bastante grande!

The stage was quit big!

Here are the members who organized the festival and they juggled on the stage too! Many thanks!

Onsen en Beppu — 別府温泉 — Spa in Beppu

You might have heard about onsen, Japan’s old school spas. One can enjoy them all around Japan, and when we went to Beppu we had some baths there (it’s a well known onsen zone). Onsen are often common baths, so one has to follow a few simple rules.

Onsen water is for everyone, so we have to keep it clean. Before going into the bath, you have to take a shower. You might use your towel to wash yourself.

It’s not OK for the towel to go into everybody’s water, but this time the bath was just for the two of us, and I feel the picture looks a lot better this way.

Sometimes there is a cold water bath, in case you’d want to switch. Looks like it’s good for circulation.

And when you’re finished, just have a little shower and go back to the locker room. It’s particular that many people dry themselves with the same towel they used for washing your body: you can just squeeze it and use it again. Of course, you can also use a bath towel for that.
