Hoy me he hecho para comer salmón con cebolla. Sería una receta sencilla si fuera una receta, pero lo que hice fue lo primero que se me ocurrió con los ingredientes que tenía.
今日はお昼にシャケとタマネギを作った。レシピだったら簡単なレシピだろうと思うけど、本当はレシピなしで材料を適当に調理しただけ。
Today I made myself salmon with onion. I would say it was an easy recipe if I had used a recipe, but I just cooked the stuff I had around.

Lo hice en la sartén con un poco de aceite y añadí sake, mirin y salsa de soja. Son cosas que se usan casi siempre en la cocina japonesa, pero era la primera vez que los usaba y no sabía qué cantidad poner.
フライパンで普通に焼いて、料理酒とみりんと醤油を加えた。日本料理に結構使われるものだけど、初めてだったから量には自信なかった。
I cooked it on a frying pan (with a little oil) and added a little sake, mirin and soy sauce. These are used a lot in japanese cooking, but it was my first time so I wasn’t quite sure about how much I should put in.
Viendo las fotos me dan ganas de comerlo otra vez. Como el experimento salió bien, otro día se lo haré a Ai para cenar.
写真を見ているとまた食べたくなる。実験は成功だったから、今度晩ご飯に作って愛にも食べてもらおう。

Estaba yo poniéndome al día en tecnología japonesa leyendo ASCII cuando me encontré uno de esos artículos que ponen de vez en cuando que no tienen nada que ver con tecnología. Esta vez es un artículo sobre revistas de fotos de niñas guapas. En uniforme escolar, en bikini… Hay de todo. No son revistas pornográficas y parece que son perfectamente legales, claro que es fácil pensar mal cuando uno ve hombres de mediana edad comprándolas.
今日ASCIIで日本のテクノロジー ニュースを読んでたら、たまにある「テクノロジー関係ない」記事を見つけた。今回は子供アイドル雑誌についての記事だ。制服、水着・・・なんでもあるみたい。エロ本じゃないらしいし、違法でもなさそう。でもおじさんが買ってるところを見られたら仕方なく怪しまれると思う。
I was getting myself up-to-date in Japanese tech reading ASCII when I found one of those articles that are completely unrelated to the tech world. It’s an article about magazines that show pictures of Japanese young girls. In school uniform, bikini… Anything. Beware they aren’t porn magazines and looks like they are 100% legal, but it’s hard no to suspect when one sees middle-aged men buying them.
Pero estas revistas llevan muchos años así. Lo que me ha llamado la atención hoy es que en los anuncios contextuales, que Google elige automáticamente según el contenido, me ha salido un anuncio de UNICEF pidiendo donativos para ayudar a que todos los niños tengan «salud, educación, igualdad y protección». Me ha parecido ridículo y contradictorio con el contenido de la página donde se muestra (sobre todo lo de «protección») y he hecho una foto de la pantalla porque puede que os salgan anuncios diferentes cuando miréis vosotros. ¿Qué? ¿Os han dado ganas de hacer un pequeño donativo a Unicef?
でもこういう雑誌は前からこんな感じだったらしい。僕は今日驚いたのは記事の下に載っていた広告だ。グーグルがコンテンツによって自動的に合わせる広告の枠に、ユニセフの広告が載ってた。「すべての子どもに健康、教育、平等、保護を。ユニセフ募金にご協力ください。」表示されているページのコンテンツと、爆笑出来るほど合わないと思う。特に「保護」の件ね。みんなASCIIのページに行ったら表示される広告が違うかも知れないから僕の画面の写真をこの上に載せた。それでは、募金にご協力はいかが？
But this kind of magazines have been this way for some years now. What surprised me today is the contextual ads, those text ads Google chooses dynamically depending on the content. I got an ad from UNICEF asking me to donate for all children’s «health, education, equity and protection». It looked quite ridiculous and contradicting to me, especially the part about «protection». So I took a screen capture for you guys to enjoy it, as you might get a different ad. How about a small donation to Unicef?
Publiqué la música de Escucha japonés mayormente porque me lo pidieron unos amigos maquiniteros, y porque me pareció buena idea. Lo que no me imaginaba es que su plan era usar nuestra banda sonora para hacer un podcast apócrifo y súper cachondo llamado Escupe Japonés.
聞く日本語の音楽を配布することにした理由と言えば、友達に頼まれたらいいアイデアかと思ったこと。でも予想できなかったのは、その友達がそのBGMを使って僕たちのポッドキャストの可笑しい物真似を作ったことだ。
I published the music for Escucha japonés mostly because of requests by some of my friends, and it sounded like a good idea to me. Of course I couldn’t foretell they would use our soundtrack to make such a hylarous spoof of our podcast.

Hoy ha sido mi último día en el trabajo. He acabado todo lo que tenía que hacer y me he podido despedir de todo el mundo. Este trabajo me ha enseñado muchas cosas y estoy muy agradecido a mis compañeros. Ahora voy a trabajar por mi cuenta, lo que en realidad quiere decir que tengo que colaborar con mucha más gente. Me lo voy a tomar con calma y por ahora no voy a buscar otro empleo. Ya os contaré lo que vaya haciendo.
今日は最終出勤日だった。しないといけなかった事すべて出来たし、皆さんに挨拶もできた。今までの仕事はすごく勉強になったので会社の仲間の皆さんに感謝している。今からは自分で仕事していくけど、ある意味今までより多くの人と協力して仕事する事になると思う。しばらくゆっくりして、ひとまず就職はしない。またちょこちょこ報告していく。
Today was my last day at work. I finished all task I had to do, and was able to say thank you and goodbye to everyone. This job has taught me many things and I owe a lot to my work mates. Now I’m going to work by myself, what actually means I’m going to have to collaborate with many more people than before. I’m taking it easy and not getting a job for now. Check this space for news.
Para celebrar mi desmpleo, Ai me ha hecho una cena espectacular. Cerdo teriyaki, gyoza y salteado de verduras y setas. Todo buenísimo.
社員卒業のお祝いとして、愛がおいしい夕食を作ってくれた。豚の照り焼きと、焼き餃子と、野菜炒め。全部、旨かった。
To celebrate my disemployment, Ai made a gorgeous supper. Teriyaki pork, gyoza and fried vegetables. Everything was delicious.
De postre me ha regalado un libro de Haruki Murakami. ¡Me siento como si fuera mi cumpleaños! El libro es una colección de ensayos sobre novelas cortas de autores japoneses de la posguerra, y se llama Wakai Dokusha no Tame no Tanpen Shosetsu Annai. No sé si hay traducción al español, pero el título significa más o menos «Guía de la novela corta para jóvenes lectores». Parece muy interesante, lo leeré en cuanto acabe el libro que estoy leyendo ahora. ¡Gracias, Ai!
デザートとして、村上春樹氏の本をくれた。まるで僕の誕生日みたい！この本は戦後の有名な作者の短編小説についてのエッセイ集で、タイトルは「若い読者のための短編小説案内」 。面白そうだから、今読んでいる本の次に読もう。
And the dessert was a Haruki Murakami book. It feels like it’s my birthday! This book is a collection of essays about short novels written by famous post-war authors. The title is Wakai Dokusha no Tame no Tanpen Shousetsu Annai, meaning something like «A Guide to Short Novels for Young Readers». Looks interesting, I’ll read it as soon as I finish the book I’m reading.
