El fin de semana vi por primera vez en un supermercado las cajas automáticas. Pasas el código de barras de lo que quieres comprar por el lector, y lo pagas. Así de sencillo. La foto que tengo es un poco cutre y no se ve la máquina entera, pero es lo mejor que pude hacer antes de que me llamasen la atención.
週末、スーパーで初めてセルフレジを見た。お買い物のバーコードをスキャンして払うだけだそう。この写真はあまり良くないけど、注意させれる前はこれしか撮れなかった。
Last weekend I saw my first self-service register at a supermarket. You just scan the barcodes for whatever you’re buying, then pay, then you’re good to go. This picture isn’t great, but it’s the best I was able to get away with before somebody told me I wasn’t supposed to take pictures.
Estas son las instrucciones:
- Deje su cesta sobre el mostrador.
- Pase el código de barras de cada producto por el lector.
- Seleccione en la pantalla táctil los productos que no tengan código de barras.
- Meta los productos escaneados en una bolsa, o déjelos por ahora encima del mostrador.
- Puede pagar en metálico o con tarjeta de crédito.
Había una sola persona encargada de cuatro cajas automáticas, supongo que está por si alguien no entiende cómo se usa la caja, o por si alguien quiere irse sin pagar.

セルフレジ4台の担当をしているのは一人だった。それでも使い方の説明とか万引き防止だけでしょう。

- Put the products you are buying in plastic bags, or leave them on the counter.
- You can pay using cash or credit card.
There was only one person in charge for four self-registers. I guess her job is explaining how to use the register, and make sure nobody is shoplifting too obviously.
