El sábado estuvimos en la inauguración de la exposición Zeitwörter de Lev Kehsin en IAF Shop, Fukuoka. Lev está ahora mismo en Fukuoka por cortesía de Hirofumi Matsuzaki, de Studio Kura.
土曜日はレブ・ケージンの展「Zeitwörter」のオープニングパーティーに行ってきました。レブはStudio Kuraの松崎宏史さんのおかげで、今福岡にいます。
On Saturday we were at the opening party for Lev Kehsin‘s exhibition
Zeitwörter at IAF Shop, Fukuoka. Lev is in Fukuoka now thanks to Studio Kura‘s Hirofumi Matsuzaki.
IAF Shop es una galería de arte contemporáneo en Yakuin, un lugar muy céntrico de Fukuoka.
IAF Shopは福岡の薬院にある現代美術のギャラリーです。
IAF Shop is a contemporary art gallery in Yakuin, very near the center of Fukuoka.
En sus obras en silicona, Lev juega con las capas para expresar el tiempo, el cambio y la naturaleza.
シリコンの作品では、レブは層で時間、変化、自然などを表現している。
In his silicon works, Lev plays with layers to express time, change and nature.
Parece que se vaya a derretir pero no es precisamente un material perecedero.
解けそうに見えるけど意外と持つ素材らしい。
It looks like it’s going to melt, but it’s actually quite permanent.
Estos dibujos los hace con una máquina que da vueltas por encima del papel dando golpes con un rotulador. Es bastante inspirador verla en acción.
このドローイングは機械で描いている。その機械は、紙の上でうろうろしながらペンで突っつく。動いているところを見たら刺激的だった。
He makes these drawings with a machine that walks around on the paper and pokes it with a pen. It’s very inspiring to see it working.
Lev es de origen ruso, y en la exposición había comida rusa muy buena.
レブはロシア出身だし、オープニング・パーティーに美味しいロシア料理があった。
Lev is from Russia, and there was great Russian food at the party.
