El jueves cuando estaba en Akihabara por fin encontré barato un Tokimeki Memorial de Game Boy. Tokimeki Memorial es un juego de estrategia de Konami que simula la vida de instituto, con sus exámenes y sus citas. Hay que elegir muy bien lo que haces cada semana porque tu recurso más importante es el tiempo (los tres años que dura el bachillerato). Es el único simulador de citas que me ha interesado hasta ahora, porque tiene más juego y menos historia que los otros que he probado. O a lo mejor es por los modelitos noventeros que salen.
先週の木曜日秋葉原に行った時はやっと「ときメモ」のゲームボーイ版を安く買えた。ときめきメモリアルとは、学園生活（試験、デートなど）を再現するコナミのシミュレーションゲーム。時間というのは一番大事なことだから（卒業したらゲームが終わる）毎週やることを慎重に選択しないといけない。今まで試してきた恋愛シミュレーションを含むゲームの中でこれにしか興味が出なかった。多分お話よりゲームの内容が大きいからだろう。それとも、みんなやっている90年代ぽい格好からかな。
Last Thursday at Akihabara I found at last a cheap Tokimeki Memorial for Game Boy. Tokimeki Memorial is a strategy game from Konami which simulates high school life, with tests, dates and all. You have to choose carefully what you do every week because your most valuable resource is time itself (you can only play for the 3 years high school lasts). It’s the only dating sim that has caught my eye, maybe because it’s one with the most game and the least story, among the ones I’ve tried. Or maybe it’s all about the 90s looks everybody has.
Según las áreas a las que dediques más tiempo a cultivar (ciencia, deporte, apariencia) te gradúas con una novia u otra, y conforme vas conociendo el juego y echando más partidas (que no duran demasiado, unas 5 horas) vas probando conductas diferentes para que te salga una novia diferente hasta «hacerte con todas». Claro que no me veo llegando hasta allí.
鍛えるところによって（理系、運動、容姿）卒業式に出来る彼女が変わって、何回かプレイすると（1回は5時間ぐらいかな）いろんな組み合わせを試したくなる。そのうち全てのキャラクターが彼女に出来ると思うけど、そこまでやらないと思う。
Depending on the areas you cultivate most (science, sports, appearance) you will get a different girlfriend on the day you graduate. And when you play a number of times (a playthrough is only about 5 hours) you’ll start trying different stuff to get a different girlfriend. Looks like you can get any of the female characters to be your girlfriend («gotta catch’em all»), but I don’t think I’ll go that far.

La primera versión se remonta a 1994 y salió para PC Engine (Turbo Grafx 16) en Super CD, pero las que he probado son las portátiles: la de Game Boy y Game Boy Color que salió en 1999 (el mío es Tokimeki Memorial Pocket Culture-hen Komorebi no Melody) y la de PSP que es del año 2006 (Tokimeki Memorial Forever With You).
このゲームが最初に出たのは1994年にPCエンジンのSuperCDとしてだったけど、やってみたことあるのは携帯ゲーム機で出来るやつだけ、それはゲームボーイ（カラー対応）とPSP。僕が持っているゲームボーイ版は「ときめきメモリアルPOCKET カルチャー編 木漏れ日のメロディ」で、PSP版は「ときめきメモリアル forever with you」という。
The first version appeared as a Super CD for the PC Engine (Turbo CD) in 1994, but the ones I’ve tried are the portable versions. The one for Game Boy and Game Boy Color came out in 1999 (mine is called Tokimeki Memorial Pocket Culture-hen Komorebi no Melody) and the PSP version is from 2006 (Tokimeki Memorial Forever With You).
Son casi iguales, y las mayores diferencias que encontraréis son la resolución de la pantalla y la capacidad de reproducir voces (en Game Boy se escuchan muy pocas voces). Bueno, y que la versión de Game Boy está dividida en dos cartuchos que se vendieron por separado, con chicas diferentes en cada uno. La versión de PSP se basa en la versión de PlayStation y tiene muchos detalles, pero a mí me gustan más los gráficos y la música de la de Game Boy, y también me gusta que se deje jugar más rápido. De ahí que salga en todas las fotos.
ほとんど一緒の者で、差が一番あるところは解像度と音声かな（ゲームボーイ版の音声が少ない）。また、ゲームボーイ版は二つのソフトに分かれていて、収録されている女の子も分かれている。PS版の方はPS版の移植で、細かいところに気を使っているみたいだけど、僕はゲームボーイのグラフィックと音楽が好きで、ゲームボーイの方で速くプレイ出来るというのも好き。だから全ての写真に出している。
They are almost the same, and the biggest differences you’ll find will be resolution and voices (the Game Boy version has only a few voice samples). And the Game Boy version is split into 2 different games, each with different girls in it. The PSP version is based on the PlayStation version so it has a lot of detail, but I like better the graphics and music for the Game Boy version, and also the fact that the Game Boy version plays faster. That’s the reason for it to be on every picture here.
