El otro día me llevaron a Ganso Nagahamaya Ramen (¡gracias!), un sitio bastante antiguo y famoso donde dan ramen estilo Nagahama, que entra dentro del tonkotsu (caldo de cerdo) típico de la isla de Kyushu.
この間元祖長浜屋ラーメンにつれてってもらった（ありがとうございます！）。昔からあるらしい人気なお店で、出るのはもちろん長浜ラーメン、九州で有名な豚骨の一種。
The other day someone took me to Ganso Nagahamaya Ramen (thank you!), a quite oldschool and popular place for eating Nagahama ramen, a subclass of Kyushu’s usual tonkotsu (pork soup) ramen.
El ramen por supuesto está bueno, y se puede elegir que los fideos estén blandos o duros (unas 5 opciones desde «crudos» hasta «blandos») además la cantidad de grasa del caldo.
ここのラーメンは当然美味い。麺の硬さとスープの油の量が選べる。
Ramen here is of course very yummy, and you can have your noodles anywhere from raw-hard to overcooked (in about 5 degrees) as well as you can choose the amount of grease in your soup.
Es curioso que tienen dos restaurantes con el mismo nombre y casi se puede ver la puerta de uno desde el otro.

En Dazaifu vi por primera vez una palillería, una tienda en la que solo venden palillos hechos a mano.
太宰府で初めて「お箸屋さん」を見た。もちろん、全部手作り。
In Dazaifu, I saw a chopstick shop for the first time in my life. Everything is handcraft.
Como veis, tenían mucha variedad. Las figuritas de abajo son para que la punta de los palillos no toque la mesa cuando los tienes que soltar un momento. (Cuando hay reposapalillos en la mesa no está bien dejar los palillos en el plato.)
ご覧の通り、いろんなお箸が置いてあった。かわいい箸置きも。
As you can see, there were lots of different chopsticks. The small figures on the right are for the tip of the chopsticks not to touch the table when you’re not using them. (If there are such figures on the table during a meal, make sure you don’t leave your chopsticks on a bowl.)
En esta foto podéis ver palillos desmontables. Están cortados por la mitad y se acoplan a rosca, de manera que podemos llevarlos encima todo el día y comer con ellos nuestro obento o usarlos en los restaurantes para que no se tiren a la basura tantos palillos desechables.
組み立て「マイ箸」は今人気だそうだ。毎日割り箸を捨てるのは嫌だし、組み立てって持ち歩きやすい。
And here you can see portable chopsticks. They are split in half so you can carry them around and you don’t have to throw away disposable chopsticks every day.

También había teteras y vasitos para el té. Para los que se sorprendan al ver el segundo «agujero» de las teteras, en realidad no es un agujero sino un mango.

There were small teapots and cups too. For those of you wondering, that’s not a second hole on the teapots. It’s there just for you to hold the hot teapot.

Hace tiempo que hay mucho drama con establecimientos japoneses que no dejan entrar a extranjeros. Yo no lo veo como algo racista, sino que es una discriminación más de tantas que hay en Japón. No sé si esto que os enseño es legal o no, pero en esta tienda de porno no dejan entrar a mujeres. ¿Qué os parece?
ずっと前から「外国人お断り」のお店、ホテルなどがある意味話題になっていたけど、僕は「民族差別」というのより「とりあえず差別」の一種だろうと思っていた。この下の写真のは合法かどうか分からないけど、このエロビデオ屋さんには女性が入るのはお断りらしい。みんなどう思いますか？
From long ago there has been much drama about Japanese shops etc. not letting foreigners in, but I see this more as one more case of common discrimination, than as racial discrimination. And I don’t know if what I’m showing you today is legal or not, but this porn shop won’t let women in. What do you think about this?

If you spot a shop selling books, videos and DVDs with a yellow sign and you can’t see the inside from the outside, it’s most probably selling lots of Japanese erotic and pornographic stuff. I’m just telling you so you know without going in!
