Tienda de bento お弁当屋さん

Ayer u hoy tenía que ir al paro y a devolver unos libros a la biblioteca de Kasuga, así que como estos días no ha parado de llover he acabado yendo hoy.

昨日か今日、職安と春日市民図書館に行かないといけなかった。雨の毎日だから今日行っておいた。

Either yesterday or today I had to go to the Employment Office and to Kasuga City’s library. This week it has been raining every day as of now, so I went today.

He encontrado una tienda de bento (comida preparada lista para comer) cerca de la oficina de empleo donde las cosas parecían muy buenas, y han sido tan amables que me han dejado comérmelo en una mesa que tenían por ahí en la terraza (el bento normalmente es para llevar).

ハローワークの途中に美味しそうなお弁当屋さんがあった。テラスのテーブルで食べていいと言ってくれて、親切だね。

I found a bento (lunchbox) shop near the employment office and food looked yummy. They even let me have my meal at a table they had sitting around (bento are usually to take away).

El bento de kashiwa meshi (arroz con pollo) valía 390 yenes y estaba buenísimo, y hasta me pusieron una tetera de té calentito para mí solo. ¡La gente en Kasuga es súper amable!

かしわめし弁当は旨かった。390円だったし、おまけに急須とお湯のみも出された。春日の人って優しいね！

The kashiwa meshi bento (rice with chicken) was very good for just 390 yen. They also gave me hot tea – people are very nice in Kasuga!

Al paro he ido en tren y desde la estación solo he caminado 10 minutos, pero de allí a la biblioteca había que caminar media hora. Llevaba paraguas pero me he acabado calando los pies.

職安には電車で行ったし、駅から徒歩10分ぐらいしかかからなかった（かかか達成！）。そこから図書館までは歩いたら30分だった。傘がちゃんとあったけど足がびしょびしょになった。

I went to the employment office by train and I only walked from the station for 10 minutes, but from there to the library I had to walk again for 30 minutes. I did have an umbrella but my feet ended up soaked.

Ya en la biblioteca lo primero que hice fue mirar el horario de los autobuses (de los que os hablé la otra vez) y al final volví en uno de ellos. Son pequeños porque se meten por zonas residenciales con calles estrechas, y además solo valen 100 yenes que se pagan por adelantado. Esto lo digo porque en la mayoría de autobuses de Japón se paga al final una cantidad según tu trayecto.

図書館に着いたらすぐバスの時間表を確認した。やっぱりこの間お話ししたバスに乗って帰った。狭い住宅街を走るから小さいバスだ。それに100円前払いだ。珍しい、嬉しい。

So at the library I checked rapidly the buses timetable (the buses I told you about last time) and came home on one of them. They are small because they get into narrow suburban streets, and it’s only 100 yen a ride which you pay when you get in. In Japanese buses you usually pay for your ride when getting off, as the price depends on where you got in and off.

Viviendas de lujo en Yokohama 横浜高級マンション

Este verano visitamos a unos amigos que viven en Minato Mirai, una zona muy moderna de Yokohama que está al lado del mar. Esta es la puerta de su casa, que es como si fuera una estación de tren: acercas la cartera al sensor y te abre.

この夏は横浜のみなとみらいに住んでいる友達の家に遊びに行った。これはそのマンションの入り口。駅の改札みたいに、財布を近づけると通してくれる。

This summer we visited our friends who live in Minato Mirai, a very modern by the sea at Yokohama. This is the building’s entrance, which looks just like a train station. Put your wallet near the sensor and the door will open for you.

El edificio es nuevo y les dieron las llaves en febrero de este año, así que probablemente esto es la última tecnología japonesa aplicada a la seguridad y la comodidad.

新築マンションで、入ったのは今年の2月だから多分安全性と暮らしやすさに適用した最新の技術が付いていると思う。

It’s a new building and they moved in in February, so this is probably the latest Japanese technology applied to security and ease of use.

Y ahora vamos con el aparcamiento (sí, todavía existen los coches en Yokohama). No se puede entrar al aparcamiento pero vas a la puerta y el sistema de aparcamiento automático te saca tu coche.

それでは駐車場に行こうか（車離れは横浜まで進んでいないらしい）。車庫自体には入れないけど、この機会に頼むと自分の車を自動に出してくれる。

So let’s go to the parking now (yes, they still have cars in Yokohama). You can’t go into the parking itself but go to the door and the automatic parking system will take the car out for you.

El robot guarda los coches cada vez en un sitio, economizando movimientos y tiempo. Y hay varias clases de sitios: para coches grandes, normales…

車は毎回違う場所に入ったりして、省エネ。大型用とか区別された車庫があるけど機械はどれがどれかが分かるみたい。

The robot stores cars in a different place every time, saving energy and time. There are special places for big cars and such.

Esta es la pantalla donde vemos por dónde está nuestro coche y cómo lo baja la máquina.

これは自分の車がどこにあるか確認出来る画面だ。

This is the screen where you see where your car is and how it comes down.

Y esta la rampa por donde sale. El conductor entra, saca el coche fuera y allí la familia sube tranquilamente para que el siguiente vecino pueda sacar su coche.

車はここから出てくる。運転手だけが入って、乗って、外に出してから家族を乗せる。次にお隣さんが車を出したいから効率よくしないとね。

And this is the ramp where the car comes from. The driver gets in and takes the car away from the parking entrance before his family gets in, because a neighbor might want to take his car out too.

Nintendo anuncia nueva DS 任天堂、新型DS発売予定

Como os informo en gamerah.com, Nintendo planea sacar un nuevo modelo de Nintendo DS antes de fin de año. Valdrá menos de 20000 yenes (que son 130 € a día de hoy) y tendrá una cámara que permitira a los nuevos juegos interactuar con el jugador de nuevas maneras, además de que también se podrá escuchar música, y sus posibilidades inalámbricas también se verán ampliadas.

任天堂が今年中に新型DSを発売する予定だと報告した。価格は20,000円以内で、新しく追加される機能の中には内蔵カメラ（写真をゲーム中で使用可能）と音楽再生と強化された無線通信。

Nintendo just announced today that they are planning to sell a new Nintendo DS model later this year. It will cost under 20,000 yen at launch and it will include an internal camera (which will be able to interact with new games), music player features and better wireless connectivity.

Personalmente veo que la DS se están alejando del modelo de negocio del ilustre Hiroshi Yamauchi (antiguo presidente de Nintendo), que fue muy testarudo en cuanto a que Nintendo fabrica juguetes y no cacharros multimedia. También veo todo esto un poco lejos de la visión de Yokoi Gunpey (que en paz descanse, fue el inventor de las Game & Watch y de la Game Boy) que en parte consistía en no poner en sus juguetes más chorradas de las necesarias. De todas formas me parece muy interesante lo de la cámara y probablemente me compre la nueva Nintendo DS, pero no la cambiaría por ninguna de mis Game Boy.

個人的に思うのは、山内溥（元任天堂社長）の考え方から結構はぐれる気がする。もうおもちゃじゃないね、これは。更に、ゲーム＆ウオッチとゲームボーイを開発した横井軍平氏（安らかな眠りを）の道からもはぐれそうな気がする。それでもカメラのことでゲームが面白くなりそうなので新型ニンテンドーDSを買うかもしれない。ゲームボーイの方がまだ好きだけど。

Personally I see DS getting far from former Nintendo President Hiroshi Yamauchi‘s business model, who used to argue that Nintendo just makes toys and machines for playing. It is also getting further from the vision of Game & Watch and Game Boy inventor Gunpei Yokoi (rest in peace), who wasn’t ever eager to put unneeded technology in toys he was responsible of. However, I think the camera can be fun for playing and I will probably buy the new Nintendo DS. But I definitely won’t trade it for any of my Game Boys.

Premio Japonés de Novela Móvil 日本ケータイ小説大賞

La escritora de 23 años Kiki recibió el pasado miércoles 24 el Gran Premio (2 millones de yenes), además del Premio Tsutaya y el Premio Joysound – estos dos últimos ofrecidos por patrocinadores.

24日の水曜日、23歳作家kikiさんが大賞（2百万円）とともにツタヤ賞もジョイサウンド賞も受賞した。

Last Wednesday 24th, 23 years old writer Kiki won the Great Award (2 million yen) as well as the Tsutaya Award and the Joysound Award – the later two being sponsor-offered prizes.

La jugadora de ping-pong Ai Fukuhara, que dice que le gusta leer novelas en el móvil, entregó un ramo de flores a la ganadora indiscutible del evento.

携帯で小説を読むことを楽しむ卓球選手の福原愛氏から花束を受け取る。

Ping pong player Ai Fukuhara, who says she likes reading novels on her phone, offered a flower bouquet to the event’s clear winner.

Es el tercer año que se celebra el Premio Japonés de Novela Móvil, y es que en Japón tampoco despegan los e-books pero las novelas distribuidas por internet para teléfonos móviles sí que tienen suficiente éxito.

ケータイ小説大賞はこれで3回目。e-bookというのは日本でもそんなに売れない状況だけど、インターネットを通って携帯電話に配信された小説はある程度売れているらしい。

It’s the third year the Japan Mobile Novel Award is given. While e-books haven’t actually taken off in Japan either, novels distributed over the internet to mobile phones have proven successful enough.

El innovador estilo de Kiki ha sido alabado y criticado a partes iguales, pero es de esperar que después de estos premios se la imite hasta la saciedad. Aquí abajo os dejo con un fragmento del principio de la novela.

Karaoke con e-kara イーカラでカラオケ

El otro día me compré en una tienda de segunda mano algo que tenía ganas de probar desde hacía tiempo. Era el e-kara de Takara, el micrófono de karaoke que se conecta a la tele y lee las canciones de un cartucho como los de la Game Boy, y salió a la venta el 20 de octubre del año 2000.

この間ジャンク品を見ていたら前から試したかった物を見つけた。2000年10月20日発売のタカラのイーカラ。このマイクをテレビに繋げるだけでカラオケが楽しめる。曲はゲームボーイのカセットみたいな物から読み込む。

The other day I found at a second hand shop something I had wanted to try for some time. Takara‘s e-kara was released on October 20 in 2000, and you just have to connect it to your TV to enjoy some karaoke. It reads songs from cartridges similar to Game Boy ones.

Aquí podéis ver a Ai cantando la canción de Lamu, Lum o Urusei Yatsura (como más os suene), y a mí cantando Uchuu Senkan Yamato.

これはうる星やつら（ラムちゃん）の主題歌を歌う愛と、宇宙戦艦ヤマトを歌う僕。

Here you can see Ai singing a song from Urusei Yatsura (Lum), and me singing Space Cruiser Yamato.

Los controles son sencillos pero no falta nada: volumen, tempo y clave de la canción, y efectos y eco para la voz. Además de un botón para quitar la canción, por supuesto.

操作は簡単だけど足りない物はない：ボリューム、テンポ、キー、エコー、エフェクト・・・もちろんキャンセルボタンも。

Control is simple but it doesn’t lack anything: volume, tempo, key, echo and voice effects, and of course a button for cancelling a song.

En un cartucho de estos suelen venir 18 canciones. El tamaño del cartucho en sí es ligeramente más grande que un juego de Game Boy Advance.

1個のカセットには普通は18曲が入っている。カセット自体のサイズはゲームボーイアドバンスのソフトより少しだけ大きい。

A cartridge usually holds 18 songs, and the size of the thing is just a bit bigger than a Game Boy Advance game.

La curiosidad por saber cuántos megabits ocupan 18 canciones con sus 18 fondos me llevó a abrir el cartucho (aunque usaba tornillos con cabeza triangular). Pero no lo he podido averiguar porque la ROM no está en un circuito integrado tipo cucaracha sino en uno tipo lenteja, y no tiene nada escrito por fuera.

その18曲＋18枚の背景は一体どんだけのメガビットに入っているか調べたくて開けてみた（珍しい三角頭のネジだけど）。しかしロムは普通のICじゃなくてぷよぷよみたいなやつだったから何も書いてなかった。残念。

I wanted to know how many megabits was it taking to store 18 songs with their 18 background pictures, so I opened a cartridge even though it had rare triangle-headed screws. Too bad the ROM chip wasn’t your usual black square but a blob without a single hex number written on it.

El próximo 18 de octubre Takara-Tomy pondrá a la venta el Hi-kara, que es como el e-kara pero 8 años después y con pantalla (información en español en Un español en Japón). Y valdrá 10500 yenes, más de 10 veces lo que he pagado por el e-kara, así que aunque me parece chulo por ahora voy a seguir amortizando el e-kara.

今度の10月18日にタカラトミーが新しいハイ・カラを発売するらしい。イーカラに画面が8年後にくっついたみたいな物で、希望価格は10500円らしい。面白いと思うけど、最近イーカラを買ってきたからもうしばらく使わせてもらう。ハイ・カラの価格の1割もしなかったし。

Next October 18, Takara-Tomy is releasing the new Hi-kara, which is more or less like a new e-kara but with a screen, and 8 years after. It will cost 10500 yen, more than 10 times what I paid for my e-kara, so I guess I’ll have to use this one for a while.
