Tenpura 天ぷらの博多だるま

Nos gusta mucho el restaurante de Tenpura Hakata Daruma.

天ぷらは「博多だるま」というお店が好き。

We like the tempura at Hakata Daruma.

Los fines de semana hay cola. Evitadlos.

週末は人が並ぶ。今度は避けよう。

It’s crowded on weekends. Avoid it.

Funciona por tickets de comida, y no es caro. Alrededor de 700 yenes.

食券式。700代で高くない。

They work with prepaid tickets. And it’s not expensive, around ¥700.

El interior es bastante antiguo y todo el mundo está muy ocupado.

お店の中は古そう。皆さん忙しい。

It looks old inside, and everyone is busy.

Estas son mis verduras. El tenpura que más me gusta es el de verdura.

これは僕の野菜。天ぷらは野菜が一番好き。

These are some vegetables, my favorite tempura.

Pero lo mejor es este cartel de «sírvase usted mismo el agua por favor». Tiene una falta de ortografía en japonés, a ver si alguien me la señala.

でも一番好きなのは「冷水はご自分にああがり下さい」。

But the best is this «please help yourself to some cold water» sign. Can anybody spot the mistake in the Japanese spelling?

¿Os da igual comer en un sitio cutre si está bueno? A nosotros no nos importa.

ご飯が美味しかったら、場所が汚くも気にしない？うちは、気にしない派。

Would you have a meal at a dirty place if it’s yummy enough? We sure don’t care.

Nos han regalado nísperos. Estaban muy buenos.

Curry de personajes キャラクターカレー

En los supermercados japoneses venden curry instantáneo (del que no pica) con personajes populares entre los niños. El arroz con curry es una de las comidas que más gustan a los niños japoneses, y si en la caja sale su personaje favorito o viene una pegatina pues mejor.

スーパーにはキャラクターの甘口レトルトカレーが置いてある。日本の子供の中ではカレーがすごく人気。そのカレーの箱に好きなキャラクターの絵が書いてあるとたまらないらしい。シールが付いたら最高。

At Japanese supermarkets you can get non-spicy instant curry with popular characters on its box. Curry rice is many Japanese kids’ favorite meal and if it has their favorite character on them they do want it. Guess when it has a sticker they go nuts.

Pero lo que yo compré son estos de aquí abajo que estaban de oferta. Son de los que sí que pican (aunque no demasiado) y llevan más cantidad, lo que es una ración de adulto. Normalmente suelen valer 89 yenes pero hoy solo 59. Aunque cada cliente solo puede comprar 5 raciones. ¿PQC? ¿Quieren vender o se creen que me están haciendo un favor? Además, no es la primera vez.

でも僕が買ったのは安くなっていた下のやつ。中辛で、大人に相当な量が入っている。普通は89円するけど今日は59円だけ。しかし「お1人様合わせて5点限り」。何これ？売る気あるのか？僕を負けてもらってる気持ちにしたいのか？ちなみにこれは初めてじゃない。

But what I got is the cheap ones at the bottom. These are spicy rations with the right amount for an adult, which usually go for ¥89 but were ¥59 today. Too bad each customer could only get 5 of these. WTF? Do they really want to sell or do they think they are doing me a favor? By the way it’s not the first time.

Impuestos municipales 市県民税

Me ha llegado una carta para que pague los impuestos municipales y provinciales. Como el año pasado empecé un negocio nuevo y no tuve tantos ingresos como el año anterior, tengo que pagar mucho menos. Y se puede pagar por domiciliación bancaria o directamente en cualquier banco, oficina de correos, o konbini (tienda 24 horas).

市民税・県民税を払うように手紙が来た。去年新しい事業を始めたので、収入が一昨年より少なくて今年払う額は割と小さい。払い方は便利。口座振替を依頼するか、そのまま銀行や郵便局やコンビニで払ってもいい。

Got a letter yesterday telling me to pay the city and prefectural taxes. Since I started a new business last year and had less income than two years ago, I don’t have to pay as much this year. One can pay by direct debit or at any bank, Post Office or konbini (24h shop).

Pero lo que más me gusta es la pegatina que dan para proteger tus datos bancarios cuando envíes la postal de la domiciliación bancaria.

でも一番好きなのは、郵便振替のはがきに貼るあの個人情報保護シールだ。

But my favorite is the sticker they provide to protect my confidencial information in case I send them my account data.

Son una cutrada, pero me encantan estas pegatinas para información confidencial. Esta es otra un poco vieja que tengo en mis auriculares.

全然かわいくないけど、保護ラベルがなぜか好き。これはヘッドフォーンに貼っている古いシール。

They are ugly, but I love these confidential info stickers. Here’s an older one attached to my headphones.

Y en el correo también me llegó este aviso de que este sábado 20 de junio se celebra el día del español (del idioma, no del macho ibérico). En el Centro Cervantes de Tokio habrá una fiestaca. ¡Espero que alguien vaya y lo cuente!

郵便で一緒に来た：20日の土曜日はスペイン語の日！（スペイン人の日じゃない）セルバンテス文化センター東京でパーティがあるみたい。行く人は感想を教えてください！

I also got in the mail this flyer telling me that next Saturday the 20th is the Spanish Day (for the language, not the Spaniard guys). There will be a party at the Tokyo Centro Cervantes. Hope somebody will go there and tell us how it was!

Sangría サングリア

La sangría es un ponche típico de España que se hace con vino, frutas, azúcar y un poco de aguardiente (por ejemplo, ron).

サングリアとはスペインの伝統的な飲み物の一つ。赤ワインにフルーツと砂糖と強いお酒（ラムなど）を加えて作る。

Sangria is a typical Spanish wine punch made with fruits, sugar and a little of some distilled beverage like rum.

Me pareció muy cachondo ver esta botella de sangría «Lolailo» en un supermercado cerca de mi casa en Fukuoka. Mi consejo: no bebáis sangría envasada si queréis saber a qué sabe la sangría de verdad. La sangría no es una bebida para envasar.

福岡の家の近くのスーパーにこの「ロライロ」瓶サングリアが置いてあって面白かった。僕のおすすめは、本物のサングリアの味を知りたい場合は、瓶サングリアなど飲まないこと。瓶に入れて保管して売るものではない。

I found very funny to find this «Lolailo» sangria bottle at a supermarket near my home in Fukuoka. My advice: don’t drink bottled sangria if you want to know what real sangria tastes like. Punchs aren’t for bottling.
