Hace un par de semanas mandé por correo mi pasaporte (original) junto con unos impresos y una foto a la Embajada de España en Japón (que está en Tokio) para que me apuntaran en su registro de españoles residentes en Japón. Es como empadronarse, incluso me van a mandar el voto por correo para que vote en Alicante cuando toque votar algo. También te pueden invitar a festejos.
2週間ぐらい前、パスポート（原本）と申請書と写真を東京にあるスペイン大使館まで郵送した。してもらった手続きは、スペイン大使館で「日本で在留するスペイン人」として登録。これでスペインで選挙があったら、地元の市役所から投票の用紙が日本の家まで送られてくるそう。
About 2 weeks ago, I sent my passport along with a photograph and an application to the Spanish Embassy in Japan (which is in Tokyo). So they put me on their «Spanish residents in Japan» register. This way, when there is an election in Spain I’ll get to vote by mail from here.
Esto es lo que me han puesto en el pasaporte: «El titular figura inscrito como residente en el Registro de Matrícula de la Sección Consular de la Embajada de España en Tokio». Lo que no se ve en la foto es mi número de pasaporte y mi número de español residente en Japón.
パスポートに新しく入っていたのは「駐日スペイン国大使館の記録に在留者として登録されています」。写真で隠しているのはパスポート番号とスペイン大使館での登録番号。
They have added to my passport «Holder is registered at the Spanish residents in Japan Register at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo». What I’m not showing is just my Passport number and my register number at the Embassy.
