Los Beatles japoneses — 日本のビートルズ — Japanese Beatles

Me quedaba una cosa por contaros de las fiestas de Orio. Y es que ya por la noche hubo un concierto de los Wet Beans, un grupo de señores que tocaban canciones de los Beatles. Y lo hacían muy bien.

折尾祭の最後の話になるけど、夜はウェットビーンズというビートルズのコピーバンドのライブがあった。しかも凄くうまかった！

I still had something to say about Orio Matsuri. In the evening there was a live performance by the Wet Beans, who are a Beatles copy band and really good at it.

Parece que el grupo se esperaba un recibimiento de bodas, bautizos y comuniones, y habían preparado unas cuantas baladas. Pero gracias a los borrachísimos chicos y chicas de los bailes de Okinawa, el ambiente fue muy cañero y tocaron mucho rock y pop bailable.

かなり盛り上がった雰囲気になっていたので、彼らは予定していたバラードをやめて踊れるロックンロールとポップスをやってくれた。こんなに盛り上がったのは沖縄の踊りのみんなのおかげだ！

They said they had a lot of ballads planned for the night, but they felt such fun in the audience that they changed the set on the fly to play more danceable rock’n roll and pop. This is thanks to the very drunk Okinawan dances guys and girls!

楽しくて、ライブが短く感じられた。ちなみにバンドのホームページにもこの時の写真が載っている！僕も写っている。ピンクのやつ。

The concert was so fun that it felt a lot shorter than it really was. By the way, they have uploaded pictures to their homepage! I’m the guy in pink over there.

Vukeme remixes Scatman — スキャットマンをリミックスするヴキミ

Vukeme es la faceta chiptune de BSK (bokusatsu shoujo koubou), un músico electrónico que produce hardcore. Aquí podéis ver un vídeo en directo del remix que hizo Vukeme de Scatman en Game Boy.

ヴキミはゲームボーイでチップチューン音楽を作っている人。この映像はゲームボーイでヴキミがやったスキャットマンのリミックスのライブの様子。ヴキミは撲殺少女工房という別名でハードコアな音楽も作っています。

Vukeme is the chiptune side of hardcore artist BSK (brutal shock killer). Here is some live footage for Vukeme’s Game Boy remix of Scatman.

El vídeo está grabado en la Tsuji Rave, una fiesta organizada en la playa por 24tek (tsuji techno). Ya sé que no se ve nada, pero es que era de noche. Aquí tenéis unas fotos hechas con flash para que veáis lo guapo que es.

この動画は辻テクノが主催した辻レイブという海辺のパーティで録画した。かなり暗いけど、夜だったからしょうがない。代わりにフラッシュで撮った写真をどうぞ。

This movie was taken at Tsuji Rave, a party 24tek (tsuji techno) arranged at the beach. I know it’s too dark, but guess what: it was taken at night! Anyway, here are some pictures I took with flash.

He’s quite hot, but be careful because he does have a girlfriend.

Campo de arroz 6 — 田んぼ 6 — Rice field 6

Hace ya casi un mes que volvieron a arar el famoso campo de arroz, y no parece que lo hayan vuelto a tocar. Se supone que en breve tienen que meter el agua y plantar ya.

例の田んぼが耕されたときからほぼ1ヶ月経ったけど、そのときから何も変わっていないらしい。そろそろ水を入れて田植えするのかな。

It’s been almost a month since the famous rice field was last plowed, and it looks like nobody has touched it since. I guess they will soon put water into the field and plant the rice.

Hamburguesa de palo — スティックハンバーグ — Stick hamburger

En las panaderías de Japón te puedes encontrar con bocadillos con las formas y contenidos más inverosímiles, y lo más sorprendente es que están buenos (aunque el pan siempre está blando). Hoy os presento la hamburguesa de palo, un tentempié que es como un perrito caliente pero en vez de salchicha tiene una hamburguesa con forma de churro.

日本のパン屋さんにあるパンの種類は驚くほど多い。しかも何でも美味しい！（パン自体はスペイン人にとって柔らかすぎるかも知れないけど）。今日ご紹介するのはスティックハンバーグ。ホットドッグみたいな物だけど、中身はウィンナーではなくて棒の形をしたハンバーグ。

You can find sandwiches of many shapes and contents in Japan’s shops, and they taste surprisingly good (although bread itself is a bit too soft for a Spaniard). Today I’m introducing the stick hamburger. It’s like a hot dog, but with a stick-shaped burger patty instead of a sausage.

Garrafón japonés — 日本のジャンボお酒 — Japanese jumbo booze

Comprando cosas para la Tsuji Rave, me fijé por primera vez en el garrafón japonés.

辻レイブのための買い物していて、お酒のジャンボサイズの存在に初めて気がついた。スペインではジャンボサイズは味が中途半端なお酒と思われるが、日本では中身がビンのと違わないのかも知れない。

While buying stuff for Tsuji Rave, I noticed booze «jumbo» bottles for the first time in Japan.

Garrafón de whisky. No os dejéis engañar, son las mismas marcas y la misma calidad.

ウイスキーのジャンボ。スペインだったらあまりお進め出来ない。

Whiskey «jumbo» bottle. In Spain you’d think it’s poor quality, but this looks like it should be the same whiskey as in a bin of whiskey from the same brand.

Garrafón de shochu, que es un aguardiente japonés parecido al vodka. Exactamente la misma calidad. De hecho, el shochu suele ser muy barato.

焼酎のジャンボ。こんなのを買ったら、永遠に持ちそう。

Shochu jumbo bottle. Shochu is usually quite cheap, so there is probably no difference either.

Cartones de sake (nihonshu). Son de más de un litro, pero valen varias veces más que un brik de vino Don Simón.

日本酒の紙パック。飛行機で里帰りするとき、お土産に最適。

Sake (nihonshu) cartons. You can sneak them easily in your suitcase as a souvenir.

Y finalmente esta pequeña incomprendida. Como dice en la etiqueta, me parece que de sangría tiene poco. Por ahí pone que hasta lleva pomelo.

そしてこれはスペインの名物のサングリア？スペインのサングリアは赤ワインとファンタと果物で出来ているけど、グレープフルーツは普段使わない。

And now time for a little (poco) sangria. This doesn’t look at all like the sangria I know. It’s usually made from red wine, Fanta, and fruits. But while it sounds tasty, I’ve never seen sangria with grapefruit in it.
