Retratado en Chunichi Shimbun y Tokyo Shimbun — 中日新聞と東京新聞で掲載

La semana pasada os avisé de que iba a salir en el Chunichi Shimbun, un periódico de Nagoya, y en su hermano de Tokio el Tokyo Shimbun. ¡Pues ya me han llegado los periódicos que muy amablemente me mandaron desde la editorial!

先週、名古屋地方の中日新聞と東京新聞夕刊に載ると報告したでしょう？新聞社の親切な方が1部を送ってくれた！

Do you remember last week I told you I’d be on Nagoya’s newspaper Chunichi Shimbun and on its brother Tokyo Shimbun? The very nice people making the newspaper sent me one copy!

Aquí tenéis el artículo, en pequeñito para que no se pueda leer y no me suelten los perros. Salió el mismo en los dos periódicos.

この下は記事。文句言われないように読めないぐらいに小さくした。東京新聞にも同じ物が出たらしい。

Here’s the column, small enough so you can’t read it. This is so that they don’t sue me. The same column was printed on both papers.

El artículo, que por supuesto sale en la sección de cultura, habla del humor japonés cruzando fronteras, y además de mis vídeos imitando a Kojima Yoshio habla de una canción jamaicana de un señor llamado Patexx que tiene como estribillo «sonnanokankeine», y de otro caso de «japoneses en calzoncillos» que cruzó las fronteras de Japón: Yatta de Happatai, la canción del programa de humor «Warau Inu no Bouken».

記事のテーマは海外でもウケる日本の笑いで、もちろんCULTURE(文化)というページに入っていた。小島よしおをまねする外国人ということで僕のこと、それ以外はジャマイカでレゲーに「sonnanokankeine」というせりふを入れているPatexxと、またパンツ一丁で世界中を笑わせた日本発のお笑い：「笑う犬の冒険」のはっぱ隊のYATTA.

The column is about Japanese humor crossing national borders, and obviously it’s on the «Culture» section. Apart from my videos doing the Kojima Yoshio, there was stuff about Patexx, a jamaican DJ who included «sonnanokankeine» in the lyrics for one of his reggae songs, and yet another Japanese humor number that got spoken about all over the world by wearing only pants: Happatai‘s Yatta, a song from TV program «Warau Inu no Bouken».

Mis diapositivas para el evento cultural — 国際交流イベントのスライド

Os traigo la presentación que proyecté ayer en el evento de intercambio cultural. Son 17 imágenes en total y en la última podéis ver las 4 palabras de español que enseñé a los niños.

昨日公民館の国際交流イベントで使ったスライドを公開する。全部で17個の画像だ。最後の1枚にはみんなに教えたスペイン語の4単語が載っている。

Here are the slides I used yesterday at the culture exchange event. There are 17 pictures in total, and on the last one you can see the 4 Spanish words I taught the children.

Intercambio en centro cultural — 公民館で国際交流

Hoy he ido a un centro cultural a dar una charla a 22 niños de primaria, y ha sido una experiencia muy buena.

今日は公民館で22人の小学生と一緒に国際交流というテーマで講師として参加した。色々教えるのがいい経験になった。

Today I went to a culture center and spoke before 22 primary students. It was a fantastic experience.

Expliqué cosas sobre España y sobre mi familia con pocos mapas y muchas fotos.

スペインと自分の家族のことを教えるのに、地図を少しと写真を沢山使った。

I explained some stuff about Spain and my family using few maps and many photos.

Canté «Dime niño de quién eres» y luego cantamos todos «Debajo un botón ton ton». Ellos solo cantaban «ton ton ton» y «tin tin tin» pero se lo pasaron muy bien.

僕が「ディメ・ニニョ・デ・キエン・エレス」を歌ってから、みんなで「Debajo un botón ton ton」(デバホ・ウン・ボトン・トン・トン)と言う童謡を歌った。「トントントン」とか「ティンティンティン」というところはみんな楽しく歌えた。

I sung «Dime niño de quién eres» and then everyone sung the popular children’s song «Debajo un botón ton ton». All of them were able to sing and enjoy the parts that say «ton ton ton» and «tin tin tin».

Después les enseñé un par de (buenas) palabras en español y jugamos al corro de la patata. Aunque la canción solo la cantaba yo, el juego estuvo bastante bien.

その後はスペイン語の挨拶を教えて、体を動かすゲームをした。

Then I taught them a few words in Spanish and we played a little game.

Creo que esta «partida» del corro de la patata la perdí yo. Y al final hubo arroz con leche para todos. Fue la primera vez que lo probaban y a casi todos les gustó.

上の写真では僕が負けたのかな？最後はアロス・コン・レチェ（米ミルク）というデザートをみんなに食べてみてもらった。

I think I lost the game on the picture above. Anyway, in the end there was «arroz con leche» (a desert) for everybody.

Palillos artesanos Nademi — 手作り箸工房なでみ — Handcraft chopsticks Nademi

En Dazaifu vi por primera vez una palillería, una tienda en la que solo venden palillos hechos a mano.

太宰府で初めて「お箸屋さん」を見た。もちろん、全部手作り。

In Dazaifu, I saw a chopstick shop for the first time in my life. Everything is handcraft.

Como veis, tenían mucha variedad. Las figuritas de abajo son para que la punta de los palillos no toque la mesa cuando los tienes que soltar un momento. (Cuando hay reposapalillos en la mesa no está bien dejar los palillos en el plato.)

ご覧の通り、いろんなお箸が置いてあった。かわいい箸置きも。

As you can see, there were lots of different chopsticks. The small figures on the right are for the tip of the chopsticks not to touch the table when you’re not using them. (If there are such figures on the table during a meal, make sure you don’t leave your chopsticks on a bowl.)

En esta foto podéis ver palillos desmontables. Están cortados por la mitad y se acoplan a rosca, de manera que podemos llevarlos encima todo el día y comer con ellos nuestro obento o usarlos en los restaurantes para que no se tiren a la basura tantos palillos desechables.

組み立て「マイ箸」は今人気だそうだ。毎日割り箸を捨てるのは嫌だし、組み立てって持ち歩きやすい。

And here you can see portable chopsticks. They are split in half so you can carry them around and you don’t have to throw away disposable chopsticks every day.

お箸の頭の大写し。立体で出来ている鶴は漆で仕上げていてきれいに目立つ。もちろん手作り。

Close-up of some chopsticks. The crane is carved and it stands up thanks to the lacquer. Of course this is hand crafted.

También había teteras y vasitos para el té. Para los que se sorprendan al ver el segundo «agujero» de las teteras, en realidad no es un agujero sino un mango.

かわいい急須とコップも置いてあった。

There were small teapots and cups too. For those of you wondering, that’s not a second hole on the teapots. It’s there just for you to hold the hot teapot.

Shigesato Itoi en Tenjin Loft — 天神ロフトのオープンでお手伝いする糸井重里

Hoy en Tenjin se ha inaugurado una tienda llamada Loft en la que, además de muchas otras cosas, está a la venta la Libreta Hobonichi y otros productos de la Hobonichi Store, la tienda de la página web de Shigesato Itoi. la buena noticia es que el propio Sr. Itoi ha ido a ayudar en la caja a meter las compras en las bolsas de algunos clientes afortunados. Por cierto, Shigesato Itoi es un señor japonés al que admiro por su libertad. Un señor que ha hecho (entre otras muchas cosas) eslóganes publicitarios memorables, un blog que pronto cumplirá 10 años, o los videojuegos de la serie Mother.

ほぼ日手帳などほぼ日ストアの商品が
置いてあるということで
糸井重里さんご本人が袋詰めのお手伝いをしに来た。
糸井重里さんは自由な日本人として憧れます。

Today in Tenjin it was the opening of The Loft, a shop where, among lots of other stuff, you can buy the Hobonichi Notebook and other Hobonichi Store goods. Good news is Hobonichi’s Shigesato Itoi himself has been «helping the shop» today by putting notebooks in bags for some lucky customers. By the way, Shigesato Itoi is a Japanese man I admire for his freedom. A Japanese man who has worked in a lot of stuff including memorable marketing copies, a blog which will soon grow 10 years old, and the Mother series of video games.

Hace mucho tiempo que disfruto de su trabajo, y tenía muchas ganas de hablaros de él. Me gustaría que me hubiera metido una Libreta Hobonichi en una de las estupendas bolsas, pero no pude ir hasta que salí del trabajo y cuando llegué ya estaba todo el pescado vendido. Este es el momento en el que abandoné la esperanza de que me firmara los juegos que me había llevado.

前から糸井さんのファンで、
ずっとみんなに紹介する機会を待っていた。
ほぼ日手帳を袋に詰めてもらいたかったけど、仕事帰りだったから
ついた時点で既に整理券が終了になっていた。
持って来ていたゲームにサインしてもらうのもすぐにあきらめた。

I’ve been a fan from long ago, and I was waiting for a chance to write about him for you. I’d have loved him putting a notebook in a bag for me, but I went to the Loft after work, and by then the event was about to end. So that moment I also forgot about getting my games signed.

También me había preparado unas preguntitas con el ánimo de hablar con él aunque fuera 3 minutos, pero tampoco pudo ser. Claro que, sin haber hablado con la gente de su oficina esto es lo que hay. Mis disculpas a la chica de su oficina que me atendió. Si alguna vez tengo la ocasión de cruzar unas palabras con él, lo veréis también en gamerah.

3分でもいいからインタビュー出来るかなと思って
質問まで用意していたが、出来なかった。
事務所に連絡を取らずに出来ると思うなんて
何を考えていたのか？

I had also written up some questions in case I got the chance to have a talk with him for even 3 minutes, but that wasn’t possible either. Yeah, you can’t just think you can interview anyone without contacting his office first. My apologies to the girl who had to cope with me. If and when I get the chance to ask Mr. Itoi a pair of questions, I’d like to post it to Spanish gaming site gamerah, too.
