Sakuranbo 桜ん坊

Estábamos cerca del Parque Ōhori (al lado de la estación de Tōjinmachi) y teníamos hambre, así que buscamos un sitio para cenar. El Tōjin Udon y el Yabukō están bien, pero nos apetecía probar algo nuevo. El resultado: Sakuranbo.

大濠公園の近く（唐人町駅）でお腹が空いて、ご飯を食べるところを探していた。當仁うどんも藪幸も美味しいけど、なんとなく新しいお店に行きたかった。結果は：桜ん坊発見。

We were near Ōhori Park (next to Tōjinmachi Station) and we were hungry, so we were looking for a place to eat. Tōjin Udon and Yabukō are good, but we felt like trying a new place. The result: Sakuranbo.

Es un cuchitril muy acogedor. Lo que veis es casi todo lo que hay. Lo lleva un abuelo que hace todo. Además, no hay que pedir porque solo dan una cosa: el menú del día que vale 500 yenes.

ぼろ可愛かった。写真で見えるのはほぼ全て。おじいちゃんが一人でやっている。500円の日替わり定食しか出ないので、注文は要らない。

It’s a cheesy place in a cute way. What you see is almost everything there is. There’s a grandpa who does everything. And you don’t have to order because there’s only one thing: the 500 yen meal.

Nos tocó salmón a la plancha con setas, y venía con su arroz, su sopa de miso, un poco de tofu y un platito de ensaladilla. Estaba bueno.

日替わりのおかずはあんかけ鮭で、ご飯も、お味噌汁も、豆腐も、ポテトサラダの小鉢まで付いていた。美味しかった。

It consisted on salmon with mushrooms, and rice, and miso soup, and a little tofu, and some potato salada. It was good.

Tōjin Udon 當仁うどん

El martes pasado entramos en un restaurante que es nuevo para nosotros, pero que lleva funcionando tres generaciones.

火曜日は初めてこのお店に入ってみた。三代も続いているお店らしい。

On Thursday we went to this restaurant for the first time. It seems to have been serving for 3 generations.

Tienen un estilo bastante personal de hacer el udon. Estaba muy bueno.

ここのうどんは独特だった。美味しかった。

They have a personal way of making udon. And it was quite good.

Mi pescado rebozado estaba un poco quemado por fuera, como me gusta a mí. Y el huevo frito parece más español que japonés.

僕の白身フライのパン粉がちょっとこげてた。本当はその方が好き。そして、ここの目玉焼きは日本の目玉焼きよりスペインの目玉焼きに見える。

My deep fried fish was a little burned on the outside, like I like it. And the fried egg looked more like a Spanish egg than a Japanese egg.

La «decoración» del sitio también es muy interesante, y me llamó especialmente la atención cómo lo tienen montado para tener disponibles mesas con tatami además de mesas con sillas en tan poco espacio.

お店の「インテリア」も面白い。特に気に入ったのは、狭いのに座敷もテーブルも選べるようにしてあるところ。

The place’s «decoration» is very interesting too. I was amazed at how they found space to have both tatami tables and chair tables at such a narrow place.

Ventotto Appartamento ヴェントットアパートメント

La semana pasada fuimos con Takahin y otro amigo más al Ventotto Appartamento, un restaurante italiano muy bueno que me enseñó Magí. ¡El chef hasta habla italiano!

先週、たかひんともう一人の友達とみんなでヴェントット・アパートメントという、マジが教えてくれたイタリア料理のお店に行った。シェフはイタリア語ぺらぺら！

Last week we went for lunch with Takahin and one other friend to Ventotto Appartamento, a very good Italian restaurant Magí taught me. The chef here even speaks Italian!

La pasta que se pidió Ai parece que estaba buenísima. Llevaba bacón y calabacín.

愛が頼んだパスタは上手そうだった。ベーコンとズッキーニが入ってた。

Ai’s pasta looked great. It had bacon and zucchini.

Y la pizza que me comí yo fue espectacular. Lo que más destacaría de aquí en comparación con otros italianos que conozco en Fukuoka son las pizzas.

僕が食べたピザは凄かった。他に知ってる福岡のイタリアンと比べて、このお店で一番取り上げたいのはピザだ！

My pizza was amazing. Comparing this place with other Italian restaurants in Fukuoka I know, I’d recommend trying their pizzas.

Spaghetti misonara スパゲッティ・ミソナーラ

Hace poco nuestro amigo tak y su mujer nos llevaron a un restaurante nuevo. Se llama couta y está cerca del Parque Oohori.

最近友達のtak夫婦が連れて行ってくれた新しいお店：大濠公園の近くのcoutaです。

Our friend tak and his wife took us recently to a new restaurant. It’s near Oohori Park and it’s called couta.

Como veis había mucha variedad, era un restaurante tipo izakaya, pero tenían cosas muy originales como estos espaguetis misonara.

ご覧の通りいろんな料理が出た。居酒屋のは居酒屋だけど、ここでしか見たことない品もあった。例えばこのスパグェッティ・ミソナーラ。

As you can see they have a lot of variety in their menu. It’s an izakaya but they do some unique dishes. For instance the spaghetti misonara.

Son parecidos a los carbonara hechos con nata, pero se añade miso a la salsa y en vez de queso se espolvorea nori y puerro. Buenísimos.

生クリームで作ったカルボナーラみたいなものだけど、味噌も加えていてふりかけもチーズじゃなくて和風です。凄く美味しかった。

It’s like cream carbonara but they add miso to the mix. And they don’t sprinkle cheese but nori and green onion–the Japanese style. It’s delicious.

También probamos este vino español que no había visto nunca: Miyone Garnacha 2007 Tempranillo. ¿A alguien le suena? Estaba bueno.

初めて見たこのスペインのワインも飲んでみた：Miyone Garnacha 2007 Tempranillo。知ってる人いるかな？美味しかった。

We also tried this Spanish wine I had never seen before: Miyone Garnacha 2007 Tempranillo. Anybody here who knows it? It was good.

Porteño ポルテーニョ

El Porteño es el restaurante más argentino donde he comido en mi vida y está en Fukuoka. El sábado cenamos allí Ai y yo.

福岡の「ポルテーニョ」はぼくが行っている中で一番アルゼンチンっぽいアルゼンチン料理のお店。先週の土曜日は愛と一緒に晩ご飯を食べに行った。

Porteño in Fukuoka is the most Argentinian restaurant I’ve ever been at. Last Saturday Ai and I had supper there.

Parece que lo más popular son las empanadas, los chorizos (nota para españoles: tienen más en común con las butifarras catalanas que a los chorizos españoles) y la milanesa napolitana. Me encantan todos.

人気メニューはエンパナーダとチョリソとミラネサナポリタナらしい。全部好き。

Looks like the most popular dishes are empanadas, chorizos and milanesa napolitana. I love them all.

Empanada lista para comer. Empezada a comer, de hecho. Me gustan mucho todo tipo de empanadas, y las argentinas que son calientes y un poco picantes me encantan (me refiero a las empanadas). Me fastidia un poco que en las panaderías japonesas no vendan empanadillas, porque no puedo preguntarles «las empanadillas de qué son».

すぐ食べられそうなエンパナーダ。本当は既に食べ始めてたけど。

Ready to eat empanada. Well, I had actually started having it.

El chimichurri pica un poco y se mete en la empanada a discreción. Está hecho de aceite, vinagre, perejil, ajo y yo qué sé qué mas.

エンパナーダにチミチュリを好きなだけ入れて自分なりに辛くする。チミチュリの材料は油と酢とニンニクとパセリなどなど。味も見た目も辛子高菜に少し似てる。

You put as much chimichurri as you like in your empanada, as it’s quite spocy. Made of oil, vinegar, parsley, garlic and what more.

La ensalada de palmito, con aguacate y tomate, nos gusta tanto que siempre la pedimos.

パルミットサラダにはヤシの新芽とアボカドとトマトが入ってる。凄く好きで毎回頼んでしまう。

The palmito salada has heart of palm, avocado and tomato. We like it as much as to order it every single time we come here.

Probamos por primera vez el chorizo con arroz, un plato sencillo y potente.

チョリソ・コン・アロスは初めて食べた。分かりやすくて効果的な一品だ。

It was oir first time having chorizo con arroz. It’s a simple and effective dish.

Suprema con papa frita. Por cierto, la suprema es pollo empanado y la milanesa es ternera empanada, o sea escalope.

スプレパ・パパ・フリタ。ちなみに「スプレマ」は鶏カツのことで「ミラネサ」は牛カツ。

Suprema papa frita. Suprema is breaded chicken while milanesa is breaded beef.

Mario es un gran cocinero y le encanta sentarse un rato en nuestra mesa a hablar con nosotros. Cuando vamos al Porteño vamos a visitar a unos amigos. Si vais, saludad a los dos de nuestra parte. Por supuesto ya le he dicho que se parece al Mario de Nintendo con ese peto.

マリオさんは凄い料理人だけではなくて、いつもテーブルで一緒に座ってみんなで少しお話する。ポルテーニョに行くときは友達に会いに行く気持ちです。もし行くことがあったら、二人によろしく伝えて下さい。もちろん、このツナギで任天堂のマリオに似てるとは既に言っている。

Mario is not only a great cook but a very nice guy too. He always sits down by our table for a while and we talk about stuff. When we go to Porteño we go to our friend’s place. If you go, greet them for us. Of course I’ve already told him he looks like Nintendo’s Mario with those overalls.
