Band Brothers DX en Xtreme 大合奏！バンドブラザーズDX

Este mes en la revista SuperJuegos Xtreme os hablo de Band Brothers DX, el juego de música definitivo para Nintendo DS.

スペインのゲーム誌「SuperJuegos Xtreme」の188号ではニンテンドーDS用の究極音ゲー「大合奏！バンドブラザーズDX」についての僕の記事が載っている。

In this month’s number of Spanish gaming magazine SuperJuegos Xtreme there’s an article by me about Band Brothers DX, the ultimate music game for the Nintendo DS.

Más preciso y realista que Beatmania, Pop’n’Music o Guitar Freaks, pero sin dejar de ser un juego. Y además con karaoke, un estupendo editor para componer, canciones descargables… Súper completo.

ベマニ、ポップン、ギタフリよりもリアルだけど、ゲーム性を失わない。更にカラオケ、素敵な作曲モード、ダウンロード曲・・・超完全版みたい。

It’s more precise and real than Beatmania, Pop’n’Music or Guitar Freaks, but it doesn’t lose any of the playable goodnes. And it also has karaoke, a great track editor, song downloads… Super complete.

Maquinaria de precisión: Sega Saturn セガサターン=精密機器

El otro día me llegó un paquete con una pegatina bastante llamativa: «tratar con precaución, maquinaria de precisión».

この間届いた「精密機器につき取扱注意」とど派手に書いてあった荷物。

The other day a parcel arrived at my door with an intimidating warning: «handle with care, precision machinery».

Con esa pegatina, lo de dentro no podía ser otra cosa que una Saturn, ese monstruo de la computación de Sega que data de 1994.

その警告があれば中身はセガサターンに決まってるだろ？1994年に発売されたセガのあの高性能精密機器。

With that warning, the contents couldn’t have been other than a Saturn, a 1994 precision instrument from Sega.

Pero no es para mí. No me gustan las consolas que funcionan con CD. La compré para hacerle un favor a un amigo.

だけど僕のものじゃない。CDで動くゲーム機が好みじゃない。友達のために買った。

But it’s not for me. Don’t like consoles that work with CDs. I got it for a friend.

Cómo cortar tofu 豆腐を切る

En Japón el tofu no se corta encima de una tabla, sino en la palma de la mano. Algunas personas tienen la impresión de que es peligroso, pero como solamente hay que dejar el cuchillo bajar lentamente a través del tofu (nada de moverlo hacia los lados) y este se corta más fácil que la mantequilla, no es más peligroso que usar un cuchillo sobre una tabla.

日本で豆腐を切るときにはまな板じゃなくて手のひらで切ることにスペイン人が驚いていた。「危ない！」というコメントが多かったので、ゆっくり見てもらって説明しようと思った。

In Japan they cut tofu on the palm of their hands rather than on a chopping board. Some foreign people feel it’s dangerous but you just let the knife go down through the tofu, which cuts easier than butter. It’s no more danger than cutting on a chopping table.

No soy el mejor del mundo cortando tofu, pero espero que os hayáis hecho una idea de cómo se hace. Es más fácil cortar limpiamente hasta abajo de esta manera que encima de la tabla, y además cuando terminas ya tienes el tofu en la mano – intenta coger tofu crudo de una tabla y verás que es difícil sin que se rompa. Aunque es súper fácil cortar así, si lo intentas por primera vez hazlo lentamente y con mucho cuidado.

僕の切り方は完璧じゃないとは分かってるけど、だいたい通じればそれでいいと思った。まな板で切るときより一番したまで切りやすいし、切り終わると既に手に取ってるからすぐお鍋とかに入れられる。まな板で切ってから取ろうとしたら破れる場合がある。手のひらで切るのは簡単だけど、初めての人にはこう言っておこう：気をつけてゆっくり切って下さい。

I’m not the world champion of tofu cutting but I hope you can imagine how it is to cut it on the palm of your hand. It’s easier to cleanly cut all the way down, and when you’re done you already have the pieces in your hand. Try to get raw tofu from a chopping board and you’ll see there’s a probability that it’ll break. It’s very easy to cut tofu on your hand, but when you try it for the first time please be very careful and do it slowly.

Y así de bueno se queda con un poco de salsa de soja y katsuobushi.

Spam real: buzoneo en Japón チラシ反対

Creo que no recibo tanta publicidad en mi buzón como Jose de UnGatoNipón, pero recibo a diario en mi buzón papeles que no van dirigidos a mí y me supone una molestia amontonarlos y llevarlos a reciclar. Son otro caso de spam en la vida real. Además estas empresas están gastando dinero y esfuerzo en molestar a la gente y dañar el medio ambiente. ¿Qué carajo están pensando? Si tienes una empresa, por favor asegúrate de pedir permiso antes de meter algo en mi buzón. Pero a mí no hace falta que me preguntes. No.

僕のポストには毎日チラシが入っている。まとめたりリサイクルに出したりして迷惑してる。実際スパム（迷惑メール）の例だ。それに、そういう会社はお金と人の努力を僕の迷惑と環境の破壊に使ってる。何を考えてるんだ？あなたが会社を運営しているんであれば、チラシを人のポストに入れる前に許可を得るようにして下さい。僕は許可しないから聞いてこなくてもいいけど。

I get a lot of ad leaflets in my post box, and recycling them is a pain. It’s a clear case of IRL spam. Moreover, these companies are spending money and effort just to annoy people and to destroy the environment. What are they thinking? If you have a company, please ask for people’s permission before stuffing leaflets in their post boxes. Oh, and don’t bother asking me.

Es curioso que en Japón esté mal visto que yo pegue un cartel anunciando mi concierto en la pared del edificio de una empresa, mientras que esa misma empresa puede meter papeles impunemente en todos los buzones (con un rendimiento de visionados por papel peor que el que tendría mi cartel). ¿Es esto doble moral? ¿Debería publicar una lista de las empresas que me invaden de esta manera?

ある会社の建物に僕がライブPRの貼り紙を貼ってはいけないのに、同じ会社が僕のポストに、無断にチラシを入れてる（貼り紙の場合はチラシよりいい効率だろうに）。二重道徳ってこれのこと？僕に迷惑をかけてる会社の一覧を公開した方がいい？

It’s not fun that I can’t stick a poster for my gig on a wall at a company’s building, but the same company can will stuff my post box with leaflets. Hey, the poster would have a better performance in terms of pageviews per gram of paper! Anyway is this double moral? Should I post a list of companies that are invading my post box in this manner?

Máquina de hacer pan パン焼き器

Sé que Japón no es el único país donde hay máquinas para hacer pan en casa, pero nunca había tenido una y llevo unos meses súper contento con esta. Sale muy barato y me hace pan de molde muy bueno. Tarda menos de 4 horas en hacer un pan que da para unas 6 rebanadas. Y así es como se usa.

世界中で珍しくないとは知ってるけど、最近初めてパン焼き器のことを知った。家で4時間弱で食パンが美味しく安く出来上がるのは、素晴らしい。下記は使い方。

I know Japan isn’t the only country with pan baking machines, but it’s the first time in my life I’ve had one and I’m very happy with having yummy and cheap bread every day. Bread takes less than 4 hours to bake, and here’s how you do it.

Primero se echan 190 cc de agua templadita.
最初はぬるい水を190cc入れる。
First you pour 190 cc of warm water.

Después 280 gramos de harina.
その後、小麦粉を280グラム。
Then 280 grams of flour.

Luego dos cucharadas y media de azúcar.
砂糖を2.5大さじ。
2 spoons and a half of sugar.

Una cucharadita de sal.
塩を1小さじ。
One tea spoon of salt.

20 gramos de margarina.
マーガリンを20グラム。
20 grams of margarin.

Una cucharada de leche en polvo. (Me encanta la leche en polvo, como más me gusta es sola.)

スキムミルクを1大さじ。（スキムミルクガ大好きで、混ぜないでそのままは一番美味しく食べれる）

One spoon of powdered milk. (I love powdered milk and I find it especially yummy on its own, without mixing.)

Y una cucharadita de levadura puesta en un cráter artificial para que no se mezcle demasiado rápido.

最後にドライイーストを1小さじ。すぐ混ざらないように穴をあけてその中に入れる。

And a tea spoon of Yeast. We dig a small hole and put it inside so that it doesn’t mix too soon.

Se mete en la máquina, se tocan un par de botones, y a esperar.

パン焼き器の中に入れて、ボタン多して、待つ。

Then you put it inside the machine, press some buttons, and wait.

Cuando acaba se saca el pan para que le dé el aire, y cuando ya no está demasiado blando se corta en rebanadas.

終わったらすぐにパンを取り出して、ある程度固まってきたら切ってもいい。

When it finishes you take the bread out and you can cut it in slices when it becomes hard enough.

Tostar y poner mantequilla, mermelada, miel o lo que te apetezca. Se dice que los madrileños se comen las tostadas con mantequilla y azúcar. ¿Con qué te las comes tú?

トースターに通してからバター、ジャム、蜂蜜などを好みにつける。マドリードの人は食パンにバターと砂糖をつけるらしい・・・あなたは食パンに何をつける？

Toast and add butter, jam, honey or whatever you like. They say people from Madrid have their toast with butter and sugar. How do you have tour toast?
