Cuando se acabó la Quedada 4.0, Flapy yo nos quedamos solos en Shibuya. Eran las 5 de la mañana y estábamos cansados, así que decidimos buscar algún sitio para dormir unas horas antes de volver a nuestras respectivas ciudades en Shinkansen (Flapy) o en avión (yo). Pensamos en probar uno de los famosos hoteles cápsula, pero en todos los sitios que preguntamos nos dijeron que en Shibuya no hay. Así que nos pusimos a buscar un ciber en el que echar unas horitas.

スペイン語ブログ オフ会4.0が終わった後、渋谷でFlapyと二人になった。朝5時なのでどこかで寝ようと二人が思った。日曜日、Flapyは電車で、僕は飛行機で帰るのであった。カプセルホテルで寝てみようと思って、その辺のコンビニで聞いてみたけどなさそうであった。やっぱりマンガ喫茶か。

After the Spanish Language Blog Meetup 4.0 was over, only Flapy and I were left homeless in Shibuya. It was 5 am, so we were looking for a place where we could sleep some hours before going back to our cities by Shinkansen (Flapy) or by plane (me). We thought about trying those capsule hotels, but we were told there weren’t any in Shibuya. So we decided to go to an internet cafe.

Los cibercafés de Japón tienen cabinas individuales medio privadas. Las hay con sillones, pero para dormir nos venía mejor la de suelo blandito. Había un PC, una PS2, barra libre de cafés y refrescos, y muchísimos comics y revistas para leer.

日本のネットカフェは便利が良くて寝ることも出来る。ソフトドリンク飲み放題とマンガと雑誌が大量に置いてあるのも、素晴らしい。とりあえず寝るのが目的だったから、椅子じゃなくて横になれる方にした。

Internet cafes in Japan have semi-private «rooms» with nice chairs, and also the ones with the soft floor, which we chose for sleeping. There was a PC, a PS2, free coffee and soft drinks, and too many comics and magazines.

La razón por la que elegimos este ciber es porque tenía ducha. Como podéis suponer, no es tan raro para los jóvenes japoneses quedarse a dormir en un ciber. De hecho, hay algunos que no tienen casa y duermen en uno de estos cada noche.

シャワーはホテルの物みたいで凄いと思ったけど、やっぱり別料金だった。毎日マンガ喫茶で寝ている人の気持ちが分かった。

We chose this place because they had showers. They weren’t included in the price, but the bathrooms were hotel quality. You can guess we aren’t the first ones to sleep at an internet cafe. There are even people who don’t rent a flat and sleep every night here.

Lo que pasa es que nos salió un poco la broma por la novatada de estar en Shibuya, zona céntrica y de lujo. Salí a pagar 3050 yenes (unos 18 euros) por dormir 5 horas en el suelo y darme una ducha, cuando pasar la noche en un ciber cualquiera suele costar la mitad.

渋谷はやっぱり高い。５時間＋シャワーでなんと3000円！別の場所だったら半額くらいじゃないだろうか。

Of course Shibuya isn’t cheap. They charged me ¥3050 ($25) for sleeping 5 hours on the floor and having a shower. In about any other place, you can crash at an internet cafe for around half that amount.
