Cherry trees have been blossoming for weeks in Fukuoka, and lately I went to hanami with Takahin at Kasuga Park.

Grabbed some food at the supermarket and spent some precious time doing silly stuff like this movie.

And later in Tenjin, we had this fish-shaped cake called taiyaki.

¿Y tú? ¿Has hecho ya el hanami?

And you? Have you already gone hanami?

The day we got the rapeseed we also got the chance to visit this beautiful park in Kasuga City, Fukuoka Prefecture – Sirouzu Oike Park.

It should still take around one month for the cherry trees to blossom, but the almond trees are already in hanami mode.

Maybe I should get into this one through the emergency exit.

«I love climbing poles. When I’m climbing poles with my friends, it’s very fun how everyone looking upwards or downwards has a different expression. That’s why I made this picture.»

Baby Don’t Cry by Ikino Namie

This is a music video made by some friends, singing Namie Amuro‘s Baby Don’t Cry.

I like this video because they worked so seriously on it without being pretentious in any way, or even having plans about releasing it. It was me that encouraged them to publish it, but have to admit it was too easy. Note everything is taken with a phone camera, at Kasuga Park which is very near here. Here’s the blog that published it in the first place, and here’s a link for watching the real Amuro singing the song. Thank you Ikino and Takahin!

Biblioteca Municipal de Kasuga

Hoy he aprovechado para ir a la Biblioteca Municipal de Kasuga que me queda relativamente cerca de la oficina del paro, me he hecho la tarjeta y he sacado unos cuantos libros.

Today I went to Kasuga City’s Library, which is near my Employment Office. Got my card and borrowed some books.

The Library itself works like a dog house for the mobile library I told you about some time ago. The van’s name is Tanpopo (dandelion) and there are also some buses that help people come here from a variety of places (but I always ride my bike when going there).

On the way to the library, I saw many beautiful landscapes that made me wonder if I’m in a city or in a rural area.

I must confess one of the reasons why I went today to the library. I wanted to swim at the pool, but I didn’t remember it was closed the 3rd Tuesday every month until I saw the sign below. So I went to the library next to the pool.

I’ll write here about the most interesting books and magazines I borrow. This is what I took home today.
