Pasta estilo japonés con katsuobushi 和風パスタ

No es la primera vez que os enseñamos nuestra pasta estilo japonés, pero quiero preguntaros si os interesa hablar del umami (un sabor muy característico de la comida japonesa) y de los ingredientes que lo aportan. ¡Espero vuestros comentarios!

It’s not the first time we’ve shown you our Japanese-style pasta, but I’m reading a lot about umami and would like to know if you’re curious about it too. Give us your opinion at the comments!

Esta vez los ingredientes del sofrito son: beicon, cebolla y setas shimeji. La salsa está hecha de mayonesa, dashi, agua y salsa de soja. Y después de servir cada plato le hemos echado katsuobushi.

今日炒めたのは：ベーコン、タマネギとしめじ。ソースはダシ、水、マヨネーズと醤油。そしてお皿に盛ってから鰹節をかけた。

What we fried today: bacon, onion and shimeji mushroom. The sauce is made of dashi, soy sauce, mayonnaise and water. And after serving the dishes, we threw some katsuobushi on them.

This restaurant is next to the Fukuoka City Hall.

Bocadillos de jamón y turrón de Alicante 生ハムとトゥロン

Ayer abrimos uno de los paquetes de jamón serrano que nos quedan envasados al vacío, y nos hicimos unos bocadillos con pan de nuestra panadería favorita y el excelente aceite de arbequina (un tipo de oliva) que nos regaló Magí.

昨日は大事に保管してるハモン・セラーノ（スペインの生ハム）の真空パックを1つ開けて、お気に入りのパン屋さんのバゲットとマジーにもらった凄いアルベキーナ・オリーブ・オイルで美味しいサンドイッチをいただきました。

Yesterday we opened one of the jamón serrano (Spanish ham) packs we have in stock, and had some great sandwiches with a baguette from our favorite bakery and the excellent arbequina olive oil Magi gave us.

Y para postre abrimos el turrón de Alicante que nos enviaron mis padres por Navidad. ¡Buenísimo! El turrón de Alicante es el duro, o sea del que lleva las almendras enteras, y ojo porque tanto el turrón de Jijona como el de Alicante solo se pueden hacer en Jijona. Son denominaciones de origen.

そしてデザートには親からクリスマスに送ってもらったトゥロン・デ・アリカンテを開けた。美味しい！トゥロン・デ・アリカンテはトゥロンの固い方、アーモンドが丸ごとのやつ。
豆知識：「トゥロン・デ・ヒホナ」も「トゥロン・デ・アリカンテ」もヒホナ市でしか作らせない規制がある。

And for the dessert we opened the turrón de Alicante my parents sent us for Christmas. Yummy! Turrón de Alicante is the hard turrón with the whole almonds, and here is some trivia: both turrón de Jijona and turrón de Alicante can only be made in the town called Jijona, because of a naming regulation.

El rey del gyōza 餃子の王将

¡Más gyōza! Esta vez fuimos a un restaurante de una cadena muy popular y barata. Gyōza no Ōshō (el rey del gyōza) es bastante parecido a Temjin.

餃子だ！今回は安くて人気なチェーンの「餃子の王将」に行ってみた。テムジンによく似てる。

More gyoza! This time we went to a very inexpensive and popular chain. Gyoza no Oushou is quite similar to Temujin.

¡No solo los gyōza son legendarios, sino que el arroz frito está buenísimo!

餃子だけじゃなくて、チャーハンも旨い！

Not only gyoza are legendary, fried rice is delicious!

Y el cerdo agridulce, espectacular.

酢豚も記念すべき。

Furthermore, sweet and sour pork is epic.

Se necesita mucha agua para que baje toda esta comida tan sabrosa y con tantas salsas diferentes.

味が濃いので水大量に要る。

One needs lots of water when having such tasty food with lots of different sauces.

Cenando arroz frito 今夜は焼き飯

El arroz frito en casa es fácil de hacer y está buenísimo. Solo hay que freír lo que quieras y luego añadir el arroz y remover. Para el sabor, lo que queráis. Sal, pimienta, incluso ketchup.

チャーハンは家で作るのは簡単で、美味しい。具を炒めてからご飯を入るだけ。味付けは塩こしょうからケチャップまでなんでもあり。

Fried rice is very yummy made at home, and it’s easy as well. Just fry stuff, then add the rice and mix. To add flavor, you can use whatever. From salt and pepper to ketchup.

Estos gyōza los compramos listos para freír. No son como los del Taihō Ramen pero no están mal.

この餃子は買った物で、焼いただけ。大砲ラーメンの餃子とは違うけど、美味しかった。

We got these gyoza ready to fry. Not as special as the ones at , but still good.

Tanto el arroz frito como los gyōza son platos de origen chino.

焼き飯も餃子も元々中国から来た料理らしい。

Both fried rice and gyoza are food coming from China.

Y para acompañar, encurtidos de rakkyō (ajo chino) y calabaza hecha en el microondas. Descubrí que la calabaza me gusta más cruda y crujiente que hecha de esta manera, pero a Ai le gusta más así. Suerte que podemos tener las dos cosas.

ラッキョウとカボチャもあった。カボチャはレンジで柔らかくした。分かったことは：生の方が歯ごたえがあって僕は好きだけど、愛は柔らかい方が好き。どっちも食べれるから大丈夫だけど。

We also had some pickled rakkyo (Chinese garlic), and pumpkin we had cooked in the microwave. I discovered I like it better raw, but Ai likes it better microwaved. Good news is, we can have both.
