Día de Sant Jordi サンジョルディの日

Hoy 23 de abril es el día de San Jorge, y en Cataluña se celebra el día de Sant Jordi regalando las mujeres un libro a los hombres, y los hombres una rosa a las mujeres. En Barcelona se celebra una feria del libro en la que la librería Alibri tendrá disponible nuestro libro de fotografías Soñar con Japón en su stand. El libro también está en su tienda y en su página web donde también venden al extranjero.

4月23日はサンジョルディの日。カタルーニャでは女性が男性に本をプレゼントし、男性が女性に薔薇をプレゼントする決まりがある。バルセロナではブックフェアーが行われて、本屋さんのAlibriのお店で僕らの写真集Soñar con Japónを購入出来る。店舗にも置いてあって、ウェブサイトでも通販されている（国際配送も可）。

Today 23th of April is Saint George’s day, and in Catalunya women give a book to men, and men give a rose to women. In Barcelona there’s a book fair where bookstore Alibri will have our photobook Soñar con Japón for sale at their stand. The book is also for sale at their store and online on their website (they ship overseas).

La semana de España スペイン写真ウイーク

David Morales de Fotocompra, el amigo que me lió en el equipo del libro Soñar con Japón, presenta en SoHo Art Gallery la primera exposición de fotografías de España que se organiza en Osaka. Será del 12 al 17 de mayo. Aquí tenéis la invitación y la lista de fotógrafos.

Soñar con Japónの制作に巻き込んでくれたDavid MoralesがSoHo Art Galleryで大阪初のスペイン写真展を開催した。5月12〜17日です。下記はチラシと提供者の一覧です。

David Morales –the guy that got me in the Soñar con Japón photobook team– is organizing a photography exhibition about Spain at SoHo Art Gallery. It will be the first such exhibition in Osaka, and it will be from May 12th to 17th. Here’s the flyer and the photographers list.

En el blog de Willi, la gata que vive con mi familia en Alicante, se ha publicado este vídeo que es una historia de amistad. La canción es una versión extendida de contramuslo, una canción que compuso mi amigo el aki y yo escribí en la Game Boy hace 5 años en mi etapa kokoromix.

スペインの実家で家族と同居してる猫ウィリーのブログで、この友情話の動画が公開された。BGMはおなじみのcontramusloを長くしたもの。（5年前kokoromix時代、友達のel akiが作曲して僕がゲームボーイでアレンジした曲。）

This tale of friendship in video shape has ben published on Willi‘s blog, who is the cat who lives with my family in Spain. The song is an extended version for contramuslo, a tune that my friend el aki composed and I arranged on Game Boy 5 years ago during the kokoromix era.

Club de lectura Tragaletras

¡Nos ha llegado este saludo del Club de lectura Tragaletras, de la Biblioteca Municipal de Villarrobledo, Albacete! Por cierto, «Tragaletras» en japonés se escribe 文字食い y se dice «Mojigui».

En este vídeo les devuelvo el saludo y os cuento a todos qué manga y qué videojuegos me gustan. Al final también se ve un poquito de cómo se hace la música con Game Boy.

And this shows the little guys and girls in the Club learning how to eat using chopsticks. It’s a great idea to use snacks for this!

Bocadillos de jamón y turrón de Alicante 生ハムとトゥロン

Ayer abrimos uno de los paquetes de jamón serrano que nos quedan envasados al vacío, y nos hicimos unos bocadillos con pan de nuestra panadería favorita y el excelente aceite de arbequina (un tipo de oliva) que nos regaló Magí.

昨日は大事に保管してるハモン・セラーノ（スペインの生ハム）の真空パックを1つ開けて、お気に入りのパン屋さんのバゲットとマジーにもらった凄いアルベキーナ・オリーブ・オイルで美味しいサンドイッチをいただきました。

Yesterday we opened one of the jamón serrano (Spanish ham) packs we have in stock, and had some great sandwiches with a baguette from our favorite bakery and the excellent arbequina olive oil Magi gave us.

Y para postre abrimos el turrón de Alicante que nos enviaron mis padres por Navidad. ¡Buenísimo! El turrón de Alicante es el duro, o sea del que lleva las almendras enteras, y ojo porque tanto el turrón de Jijona como el de Alicante solo se pueden hacer en Jijona. Son denominaciones de origen.

そしてデザートには親からクリスマスに送ってもらったトゥロン・デ・アリカンテを開けた。美味しい！トゥロン・デ・アリカンテはトゥロンの固い方、アーモンドが丸ごとのやつ。
豆知識：「トゥロン・デ・ヒホナ」も「トゥロン・デ・アリカンテ」もヒホナ市でしか作らせない規制がある。

And for the dessert we opened the turrón de Alicante my parents sent us for Christmas. Yummy! Turrón de Alicante is the hard turrón with the whole almonds, and here is some trivia: both turrón de Jijona and turrón de Alicante can only be made in the town called Jijona, because of a naming regulation.
